Fab Mini Break in Amsterdam

A customer from Wigan who stayed at 4* Novotel Amsterdam City in Amsterdam wrote this review.

The hotel was really easy to find from Schipol airport just hop on a train to RAI and its a 5 minute walk up the road you can clearly see the hotel from the train! From the hotel it is easy to access the city centre using the number 4 tram but remember to buy a ticket from the back of the tram and there are lots of interesting places to visit - rembrandplein and leidesplein have a great nightlife and the food is fantastic everywhere. The red light district is fascinating I recommend stopping for a drink in the players bar. We visited the Amsterdam Dungeon which was good fun and the Van Gogh museum which was a little bit disappointing really! Be warned the queue for the Anne Frank house was colossal.
