Thoughts on Prague

It is a beautiful city, and 3 days only gives a taster of the interesting places there are to see. Take a stroll along the King Charles Bridge, and the vista along the river is quite spectacular. There is so much culture to experience, historical places of interest to see, as well as the many varied shops to browse; some traditional and others which were more familiar. There was a marked contrast between tne buzz of the old town with its restaurants, its market and its fully laden jewellers with their "red and gold", churches hosting numerous concerts from Albinez to Vivaldi, to the grandeur of the Castle area which transports you back to an altogether more elegant age. I loved it !
