Moscow is surrounded with history. Stand on Red Square and admire the iconic 16th Century St Basil's Cathedral with its famous onion domes or turn and marvel at the Kremlin, the political centre of the country, turn again and there is Lenin's mausoleum. GUM, the famous department store, is just next to Red Square although the best souvenirs can be found along Arbat Street.

Moscow to St Petersburg Overnight Train

A customer who stayed at 4* Cosmos Hotel in Moscow wrote this review.

Used "Intourist" in hotel Cosmos to help us book overnight train to St Petersburg. Staff in hotel were really helpful and train very luxurious compared to some in Eastern Europe despite travelling second class. Cost about £40 and well worth it.
