London Outer Holiday Reviews

Greenwich Skyline, London Outer

The outskirts of London offer an array of visitor attractions from historic houses and picturesque parks to fashionable shops and premier golf courses. Spend time south of the Thames visiting the Queen’s House and The Royal Observatory. If that’s not enough, then head north of the Thames to the new Wembley Stadium, Aldenham Country Park and Fenton House. The sights and sounds of London city are never too far away!

We wanted a one night stopover close to Euston and the theatre, this hotel was ideal. The room was quite small and plain but provided comfortable beds, adequate bathroom and all we needed. The room See More  Read more information and the rest of the hotel was clean and well staffed. Breakfast is a bit canteen buffet style but was good and plentiful, the tables were kept clean aad cleared by a large group of attendants. Rubbish for taking a young baby

Stay Date: 13/11/14, a customer aged 25-44 who stayed at 4* International Hotel in Docklands wrote this review.

The hotel was average but beds were terribly hard and uncomfortable. Out and about in London was exciting as always, however it is very difficult to get around with a young baby as most attractions See More  Read more information are not pushchair friendly and the tube stations are impossible with a pram as most only have stairwells. Also SuperBreak need to make better provisions for cancelled trains as ours was cancelledso we spent 4 hours on a train with the baby screaming in our arms as there was nowhere suitable to feed her. Not much point reserving train seats if you have to stand....   Collapse  Hide

Love London but hotel let us down

Stay Date: 10/11/14, a customer aged 45-64 who stayed at 3* Royal National Hotel in Russell Square wrote this review.

We have stayed at Russell square in the Royal National before no problems, decided to go back. Our first night we thought it was the people in the pub laughing and talking. Second night about one See More  Read more information o'clock we realized it was in the entrance square, anyone talking it seemed to carry around the rooms. We ended up being downgraded from a newly refurbished room to one of their older rooms.   Collapse  Hide

Leisure days in London

Stay Date: 11/11/14, a customer aged 45-64 from Clacton-On-Sea who stayed at 3* Tavistock Hotel in Russell Square wrote this review.

The restaurant ambience and layout wasgood. To overcome the heat we were loaned a fan by reception which was a great help.   Collapse  Hide

London's Tavistock Hotel

Stay Date: 10/11/14, a customer aged 65+ who stayed at 3* Tavistock Hotel in Russell Square wrote this review.

This hotel has much to recommend it. It's ideally located or access to theatres, cinemas, museums, galleries, sports stadia and a range of attractions. Its competitive pricing makes a stay here an See More  Read more information absolute bargain. It retains elements of traditional London culture - original art deco design, uniformed staff anxious to offer good service - and offers a flexibility according to guests' needs - alight continental breakfast or a full English breakfast; a wine bar; a traditional bar with English beer and mainland European wines. Our bedroom was smart and the TV set gave us the best of UK radio,TV, and European TV. Two day break: superbreak.   Collapse  Hide
