How do I make a booking?

For instructions explaining how to book our products, please use the navigation on the right to select the product type you are trying to book. On this page, you will find a detailed explanation regarding how to book that particular product.

What confirmation will I receive after making my booking?

You will receive a confirmation email as soon as your booking is complete. Back up documentation and your invoice will be forwarded by post. If you receive the backup documentation before you travel please take the invoice with you. Alternatively a copy of the confirmation E-Mail will suffice to show on arrival. Can I book at short notice?

You can book hotel-only breaks online up to the day before the stay date. For same day bookings please call us on 01904 717 362 (calls charged at standard rates). Read more  Read more information

For packaged breaks which include tickets for travel or entertainment (i.e. theatre, event, attraction), you can only book up to 5 days before the stay date to ensure that the tickets can be posted to you in time. In some cases, tickets can be emailed or left at the theatre/attraction for collection and are therefore bookable through our call centre up to and including the day of travel. Please call 01904 717 362 (calls charged at standard rates) and our call centre staff will do their best to arrange this.

What's included in the price?

A complete price breakdown will be shown when you have selected your room type and moved on to the next page, before you complete your booking. All prices include service and VAT (Some European hotels will charge a local city tax which must be paid for locally at the hotel.)

Are all prices in Great British Pounds (£)?

Yes. We make all charges in Great British Pounds (£), irrespective of the location of the accommodation. We do offer a link to a Worldwide Currency Converter on the Travel Links page, but please be aware that these rates do fluctuate and that this facility is offered as a guide only.

Is the listed price online "per person" or "per room"?

Unless otherwise stated the price is per person per night. All prices shown on the main page are a guide, for an accurate up to date price select the date, people and rooms needed and navigate to the price page.

Why is full payment taken at the time of booking?

Full payment is taken to guarantee the price you pay and to ensure the room is kept for you in the event of late arrival. Superbreak does not charge credit card or booking fees and guarantees full payment to the accommodation provider as soon as a booking is made.

Are my payment details secure?

Yes. - Superbreak uses a secure server to encrypt and protect all communication of personal details and credit card information between yourself and Superbreak. Our secure server is authenticated and certificated by

Do I pay a booking fee?

No - We also guarantee not to change the price after your booking has been confirmed.

How is my room secured with the hotel?

The hotel will be notified of your reservation by either fax or email. Please feel free to contact the hotel direct with any specific queries once this time has elapsed.

What if I need special facilities during my stay?

If you have any special requirements please contact our Reservations Team to make your booking on 01904 717 362 (calls charged at standard rates) or email before making a booking.

There is no availability for my selected hotel. What can I do?

There are various reasons why a hotel may not be returned as available - the hotel may be sold out of rooms which can accommodate you, it may have restrictions on the number of nights you can stay or you may only be able to check in on a certain day. Can I make a group booking?

We have a dedicated groups department who can make reservations for any group of more than 10 adults or 5 rooms. Can I add extras onto my booking?

When you book a hotel there is the chance to add optional extras. These include tours & tickets, UK rail journeys, insurance and, for some hotels, meals. Not all extras are available with every hotel and the ability to add extras is subject to what location and date you are searching for.

Can I add insurance to my booking?

Yes, Superbreak provides insurance for both UK and Overseas bookings. The travel insurance is underwritten by Optimum Underwriting Limited who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. This can be purchased at time of booking or added within 48 hours of booking confirmation providing travel has not already commenced. Read more  Read more information

I have a gift voucher how do I redeem them?

You can book and make payment online by entering the voucher codes before proceeding to pay. Alternatively you can call our experienced team of reservation advisors on 01904 717 362 (calls charged at standard rates) you will then need to send the vouchers to Superbreak.
