About Shrek the Musical
Shrek The Musical is a stage adaptation of the Oscar-winning DreamWorks animation Shrek. This musical follows the life of a huge green ogre and his trusty loyal steed, as they set off on a quest in a land far, far away to rescue a beautiful princess from a dragon guarded tower. Add the tiny tyrant Lord Farquaad and a gang of fairytale misfits and you’ve got the must see musical comedy guaranteed to excite audiences of all ages.
An all star cast will take to the stage in Shrek The Musical for a mix of adventure, laughter and romance. Starring Dean Chisnall as Shrek, Richard Blackwood as Donkey, and Carley Stenson as Princess Fiona with Neil McDermott completing this fantastic cast as the role of Lord Farquaad, the King with a height complex.
With more layers than ever seen before, Shrek The Musical features all new songs, as well as the Shrek classic “I’M A BELIEVER” that will be sure to have audiences singing along and dancing in the aisles.
Performance times for Shrek The Musical are as follows:
Evenings: Mon and Thurs to Sat at 19:30, Wed 19.00
Matinees: Thu, Sat and Sun at 15:00
Please note: Shrek The Musical is recommended for ages 5 and up. Younger children will be admitted, but it is the policy of Theatre Royal Drury Lane that staff may ask for them to be removed from the auditorium if they cause a disturbance to other patrons. All persons entering the theatre must have a ticket - babes in arms are not permitted.
