Hungary is located in Central Europe and is rich in striking architecture, history, culture and spas! Founded by King St. Stephen, Hungary is home to the world's largest thermal lake, the magnificent Royal Opera House, 1500 castles, palaces and manors as well as Budapest, 'the pearl of the Danube'.

Europa Hotel Budapest

A customer from Deeside who stayed at 4* Europa Hotels & Congress Centre - Superior in Budapest wrote this review.

Excellent hotel, a little far out from city center but don't let this put you off . The pulic transport system is fantastic, easy to use and cheap... don't bother with expensive taxis! Budapest was amazing. The dinner cruise wonderful, will definately be coming back again.

Budapest

A customer from Taunton who stayed at 4* Radisson SAS Beke Hotel in Budapest wrote this review.

Our first trip with Superbreak was fantastic, not only a great price but a superb hotel offering a first class service throughout our stay - nothing was too much trouble - the city was amazing with so much to see and do - great food & prices however, most shops were closed on Saturday & Sunday so you couldn't shop much - we would highlyrecommend using Superbreas & are very much looking forward to our next trip... wherever that might be!!!

Christmas Time in Budapest

A customer from BILLERICAY who stayed at 4* Domina Inn Fiesta in Budapest wrote this review.

A lovely city in Winter with a smattering of snow and temperatures of -4 most days, Budapest is a must for travellers. We wil certainly revisit in the Spring and enjoy a trip down the Danube. They call it the 'City of Spas' and there were plenty of them. We would have liked to swim in the open but didn't have time. The best thing by far was the thermal baths at the Hotel Gellert with water temperatures of 38!! The food was relatively cheap with lots of meat and potatoes! You need this for energy and to soak up the hot wine consumed!! Walking the Ramparts at Boulogne is a good way to work up an appetite, or walk off the few extra pounds you are bound to have put on after even one day in France! The cheese is marvellous and all thoughts of diet go out the window. What a wonderful experience!

A Few Days in Budapest

A customer who stayed at 4* K&K Hotel Opera in Budapest wrote this review.

Budapest is a scenic city with good views and panoramas. It has many attractive old buildings which have, unfotunately suffered from neglect in the past and restoration is taking time. The public transport is relatively expensive and not too well coordinated. For an ex soviet bloc country prices were expensive compared to others eg Estonia.
