4 Day Break In Budapest

A customer from Cheshire who stayed at 4* Domina Inn Fiesta in Budapest wrote this review.

The hotel was ideally situated in a really nice street within 5 mins of Budapest centre. Staff very helpful and the breakfast excellent with a large variety of food. Budapest is great at night for eating and bars, can be expensive in the main centre in bars for drinks but overall buzzing place to be. Overall would highly recommend Budapest to visit. The tour bus was brilliant as you could get off and on and see most of the places of interest and there are some very beautiful buildings to visit. Elizabeth Bridge which separates Buda and Pest is a really nice walk and to view the River Danube Old Buda is a must to visit.

Break in Budapest

A customer from LIVINGSTON who stayed at 4* Ambra Hotel in Budapest wrote this review.

Cheap flights have opened up so many European cities and Budapest is one of the best - lovely to look at , lots to do, friendly people and inexpensive - away from the centre. Two cities in one (hilly Buda and busy Pest) ther are lovely buildinmgs anf parks with a a good mix of eating options and shopping. Glorious for a stroll at night.

Hungry in Budapest

A customer from BANSTEAD who stayed at 4* Domina Inn Fiesta in Budapest wrote this review.

We stayed in Budapest for 4 days with our 2 children and while we enjoyed the citybreak we were somewhat frustrated with the selection of restaurants available. Not much international cuisine, generally Hungarian fare, which was heavy and very very salty. Pricewise eating out was not good value and that added to our frustration given that we didn't enjoy the food. People were not particularly friendly, quite happy to take the tourist's but not overly hospitable. We have visited Prague, Munich & Berlin over the past few months with our children and we all rated Budapest a poor 4th. Outside of Manchester there is plenty of lovely country walks and pit stops for pub grub, a really nice combination of city and country activities.
