My aunt booked separate rooms for herself and I. When we arrived, they didn't have enough rooms in my aunt's villa; so I was placed next door. In a double. At any rate, the property is fancy; even with the Activity center being closed (except for the fitness room) the place is well-equipped with a full kitchen, laundry closet, and separate living and sleeping areas. In other words, an apartment rather than a motel room. They also offer a daily slate of activities in case one does not wish to go touring. The only down things are the lack of lighting, especially around the pools, at night; the lack of signage on buildings; and the fitness room was rather stark. Collapse

I will be travelling with my husband, 2 toddlers and 1 baby. We booked a standard room and are supposed to check in tomorrow on May 19th. I called the hotel ahead of time to ensure the we receive a room with 2 beds or a bed and a pull-out, so that my children can have a bed to sleep. The man I spoke with was more than unpleasant! He said since we booked through Priceline he can't guarantee I receive a standard room (which is what we booked) that still accommodates our needs as a family travelling with young children. He continued to spew nonsense about us having entered a legally binding contract and that by LAW we can't get anything different than what we had booked. This man was so unbelievably rude and spoke way outside of his realm of expertise. This encounter with him has put a very sour beginning to what is supposed to be a pleasant family vacation. If this is how they treat their guests, don't bother going - they don't care about your business! Collapse

We had a quick girls weekend in Scottsdale and stayed at this resort. Thank goodness we chose it! The setup is perfect! Looks just like the pictures, actually even better in person. The units are very spacious. There were three of us, my mom, sister, and I. We had the 2 BR, 2 bath villa. Everything in the unit looked brand new. We weren't planning on cooking, but the kitchen was so cute and everything was new, so we did decide to stay in and cook one night. There is a balcony with a door off the living room and also one door off the master suite. The washer and dryer was perfect for us to be able to wash some items as well. There are four pools, although our room was near the "waterfall pool", we spent most of our time at the "social pool", which was quieter. The pool/hot tub are open until 10 pm, so we were able to hang out in the hot tub under the stars. They have daily entertainment setup just like most resorts. The only drawback, if you can call it a drawback is that there is no housekeeping service unless you stay longer than 10 days or pay extra for it. It was totally fine for us though, we were there for four days and honestly, how dirty can your room get? I didn't mind the lack of housekeeping but that may be a negative for some people. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We LOVED this place and hope to stay again in the future!! Collapse

Room was very nice and our 2 Bed/Bath was just as pictured online. Very orderly, nice balconies, well stocked kitchen, nicely appointed bathrooms. Don't be surprised as there is no housekeeping even if you book direct as a hotel guest. You get your allotment of towels and pool towels and that is it. You are treated as if you are an time share owner. This should be made clearer on their website. Front Desk staff are very quick to say "No" or some indicate that another department handles a request. However, requests are generally granted in a timely fashion. They need to work on their guest service polish. Lobby was closed overnight and only a security guard on duty. Jenna was the activities person while we stayed and was great with our large family. The offerings were varied and fun. We enjoyed our time with the family and her. Some activities require a small fee but this was the exception, not the norm. Pools were great fun, different temps at each one and very clean. Lifeguards were friendly but not overly proactive. Restaurant only open during the evening so we did not get a chance to try out. They should consider having a bar open from the afternoon on as they are missing out on serving the guests and earning the money. Location suited us very well, away from the hustle and bustle but a quick ride wherever we wanted to go. Parking was ample and convenient. Shopping plaza very close by and Old Town Scottsdale about 20 minutes away. Being right across from the Fairmont Princess Scottsdale was nice for a evening stroll and a drink at their bar. Plenty of Uber/Lyft drivers in the area for a quick ride. Collapse

We were excited to see Scottsdale and the surrounding area including the Grand Canyon... we elected to accept a special promotion when booking a holiday inn in Canada that allowed us to visit Scottsdale for a discounted price. We were asked to attend a time share presentation. After enjoying 3 or 4 lovely days in Scottsdale this presentation period left us very sad. The gentlemen who joined the girl who was telling us about the offerings from Holiday inn vacation clubs, was rude and insensitive making us feel like we had misrepresented our intentions to take them up on the offer., seriously we possibly would have bought something if we felt the value was there , but the resort in Scottsdale while the rooms were clean did not have the atmosphere we enjoyed in other places. All the balconies look out over parking lots and there was no restaurant on site. The service was good and the staff kind. But this is not our type of vacation spot. We look back and regret going there because of how this man treated us ...after we refused the offer and stated why it was not for us he said he would cancel the rest of our stay and we could could go find somewhere else to stay. Not a lot of class sadly and a great way to ruin our impression and memories of Scottsdale. Collapse
