This was my 8th visit to this hotel, it has gone downhill since the previous visit of 2014. The room was in poor decorative condition e.g. wall paper peeling, grouting dirty in the bathroom, the bath minuscule, the TV difficult to change channels /alter volume, a light was broken. This was really disappointing as the staff were reluctantly helpful. I won't stay there again. Collapse

How can this be a 5 star hotel I ll never guess.... I have stayed in multiple places in Brussels but this has been by the worst experience ever. ( other places ranged from b&b and motels) So lets start with the cons: ( I had the superior room so Im terrified to imagine what the standard one is like) Rooms are ancient... I come from eastern europe and some furniture pieces in my room looked far worse than the soviet furniture that my grandparents used to own. Furniture is not only old but in the worst condition - scratched and marks all over place. By the 2nd day I witnessed 3 pieces of interior to break off My bath had two long dark hairs in it that appeared there AFTER they cleaned my room on day 1. Towels and robe are in the horrible state. No smart tv, old samsung with ancient remote that bareley works. You get shoe sponge but no toothpaste?? Shampoo quality is veryyyyy bad. Even in b&b you get at least a free water or nespressos... not here - all you get is instant coffee and regret for wanting to try out a new place to stay. Very few positive things: Small gym is quite nice Staff was nice Bed and blanket! was comfortable Location is very central and convinient Lobby is quite nice looking and posh Collapse

I remember 'The Warwick' when it was 'The Royal Windsor'. Built in 1973, I stayed there in the late 1970's. It was great for a hotel at that time but it is less great now. It is a hotel run by Warwick International Hotels who strike me more as bean counters than hoteliers. I have a list of requirements for a 5-star hotel, over and above the obvious. They are: - High quality facial tissues - High quality (wide) loo paper - A towelling robe - Slippers - Face flannels - A fine dining restaurant - The ability to provide a hot buffet breakfast - No air crew staying there The Warwick scored half a point with one robe for two people. Housekeeping was poor. I had to request replacement of down/feather pillows with foam or man-made fibre pillows, three times. My wife and I came back at 4 pm exhausted, after visiting three art museums, and the room had not been made up. I spoke to reception and told them we were going to sleep and to tell Housekeeping to come back at 7 pm. They told me to talk to Housekeeping myself. I did, gave them the same information and put a "Do Not Disturb" notice on the door. At 4.45 pm Housekeeping bashed on the door and woke us up. (I regard a DND notice on a hotel room door as being sacred!) Also disappointing was the cold buffet breakfast (although very few hotels outside of Asia manage to get this right). And, further, the lack of a serious restaurant. It seems to have been closed (now the elegant breakfast room) and now has a rather poor Brasserie that opens up on to the street. Its chef does not know how to cook a Medium Rare steak. It's not a bad hotel, just not a great 5-star establishment. I'm sure one could do far worse in Brussels, but probably far better. Collapse

We were booked to stay in the Warwick for 4 night at the end of February. The booking was done through Expedia. We have had massive travel disruption because of adverse weather conditions and our flight to Brussels was cancelled and no alternative travel options could be found. I emailed the Warwick direct to explain the position, not asking for a refund but simply to see if we could reschedule our stay for another time. They simply refused saying if we wanted to come another time to make a new reservation. We were a party of four and had paid £730 for the four night stay. I feel that they could have made some goodwill gesture and am really disappointed with their attitude. I will certainly not rebook with the Warwick and will tell all my friends and family about their lack of customer service. Collapse

We spent just one night in the Warwick but overall we were very happy with the hotel. We arrived at 10am but we couldn't check in till 3.00pm. They did try to get us in earlier and that was much appreciated. Reception staff were very efficient and friendly and the room was very good. We went for lunch in the hotel restaurant and I was really very presently surprised. The food was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is great for the town centre and Central Station. Both are only a short stroll away. If I come back to Brussels I would definitely stay here again. Collapse

Stayed for two nights for business. Room was very small but comfortable with nice hot shower and good bed. Good selection of Channels including bbc 1 , itv, channel 4 and 5. The walls are quite thin and you can hear people next door closing doors and walking around. There is a massive gap under the front door and the light comes in at night. WiFi was good. I used the gym which was very quite and fair selection of machines and weights. The sauna area was small but clean and you need to ask for it to be turned on 30 mins before you use it. Otherwise can turn it in yourself. Breakfast was ok, nothing special but area where it was served was lovely. Location superb and 2 mins to central station. Area very safe. I would stay again but would prefer a better sized room. The staff were very friendly and made an effort to greet you. Also no street noise as it’s in a quite street just off gran place. Collapse
