Not much can be said about Waldorf Astoria in Ras Al Khaimah. Everything is perfect. From courtesy of service, to all the facilities. Restaurants can satisfy everybody. Lexington Grill probably one of the best ever tried for fine dining.

Excellent hotel with very large rooms, a beautiful beach and a number of very good restaurants. October is at the limit as far as temperature is concerned (can get up to 40 Celsius), but the pools are chilled (around 29) so you can still refresh yourself. The sea temperature was around 32! Our favorite place to eat was the Lexington Steakhouse, locals say that it is the best Steakhouse of the middle east. My only small criticism is that the service is almost too friendly, I would prefer to be left uninterrupted when we have a discussion at the table instead of being asked every 5 minutes if I have a wish. The housekeeping is excellent, rooms were cleaned daily while we had breakfast and our two housekeepers Bensheer and Imelda did every day funny animals like Cocodiles and Elephants out of towels, our 9 year old loved it. Amazing hotel. Very beautifull decorated, wonderfull textiles, stylish, Big rooms, very clean and well kept. By the pool and on the beach you get an icebucket with bottles of water to keep you cool. But the real luxury was the staff. Everybody was very kind and their only task was to make you feel at home and any desire you had to forfill. And this on a very high level. Bravo. Collapse

Together with my wife we’ve stayed for 4 nights in the Waldorf Astoria Ras al Khaimah. After traveling through a lot of Hilton property’s in europe and the uae, we’re sure that the Waldorf Astoria Ras al Khaimah could be our new favorite. After a very quick 100 km trip from Dubai we arrived the hotel entrance and a kindly doorman opened the taxi door, took care of our luggage and a bellman guide us to the reception. I have to say we’ve stayed a lot of times at the Waldorf Astoria Berlin and we’re accustomed to their excellent service, but our first impression was like .. hopefully no one will notice how impressed we are!! The hugh entrance or the unique peacock alley looks amazing, we were just totally speechless. The check in with Petra was very charming, from the beginning to the end she gave us the feeling to feel like home, you’re amazing! For our surprise, the room was ready before 3 pm. We’ve got an upgrade to the 76 sq./m. King Deluxe room with sea view and balcony on the 6th floor. The walk-in closet, the luxury bathroom or the large balcony let us feel like in Arabian 1001 nights and if that were not enough, there was even a fruit plate & little cakes for us as a welcome treatment, yummy! The next morning we went to the Qasr al Bahar breakfast restaurant. My wife was totally excited that’s able to sit outside. The buffet was very plenty, there was a large selection of fruits, bread (we love the banana bread) or cereals and many other things. Especially we loved to mix our juice every morning with different taste of fruits / vegetables. Unfortunately, one thing i couldn’t find - peanut butter .. a attentive hostess ask me how she could help me and i told her about my little „problem“. She went to the kitchen and 2 minutes later there was a bowl of peanut butter on our table. From now on, every morning someone brought me a bowl with peanut butter on my place - unasked - this was incredible!! After a good breakfast of course we had to swim in the persian golf, the 350 m. private beach area is very large and quite. The lifeguards gave us some towels and a big ice bucket with complimentary refreshing water. After the sun bathing we went to temperature controlled pool and took some tasty cocktails at the Azure pool bar. Nearly every evening we went to the Camelia restaurant, you can relax by fantastic live music with a large selection of drinks and food/ snacks, or enjoy the live music with a tasty shisha. Unfortunately, our 4 days were quickly over .. we had a unforgettable stay, maybe the best stay i‘ve ever had in a hotel. Everyone of this lovely staff is living the true Waldorf service. The service was not acted, you can really see and feel that everyone want to do their best for the guest! We‘ll definitely come back, thank you for everything you did for us. People like you are the reason that traveling is one most beautiful things in a life you can do. Collapse

I visited over a year ago, and although that might be a long time ago I've put off writing this review because I thought I'd let it go, but here I am.. I went on a staycation for a concert happening at another hotel close by and arrived an hour after the arrival time of 3pm, and no room was available so we had to wait. No worries, and went to the spa because it was raining at the time. Afterwards had an early dinner and went to check in and got the room around 5:30 ish. When we got to the room I noticed one bag didn't show up and took them about 45 minutes to find my bag and deliver it to the room. There was no shower door, you could see there was one before and a few other items in the bathroom was broken or in a state requiring some attention. Other than that, the room was pretty nice. After getting my bag I needed an iron and called guest services for one and with a follow up call 30 minutes later I received one after another 30 minutes. Next day at breakfast we were seated on a dirty table, they didn't clear or set up for us even though the hostess put us on that table. Asked for a few things like coffee etc. which took forever and overall not a good experience. Asked for a late checkout to enjoy the day however this was also not possible, I had asked to see the manager upon checkout who wasn't available either. Will I be back? With the amount of other hotels in the area and at the price they are charging the short answer is no. Collapse
