Food and parking were expensive, but it was a one time only stay for a special occasion. The staff was wonderful and service was impeccable. There was a shuttle bus for round trips to Disney World, but next time I will stay in one of the Disney Hotels on the grounds and save on travel and wait times. We had a suite, but the Hilton Honors people actually got more amenities than we did. The staff could not get our Hilton Honors points to connect to our HH number, but we will work on that.......... I had so much fun at Waldorf! Got a corner suite with a great view . Love the giant hallway that leads to The Hilton Hotel ! What a great idea ! You can still get your run in if raining. And let's face it kids would love running down the connector between the 2 Hotels !! LOVE the purse shop by little gift shop. She is the nicest lady and gorgeous special pieces from a designer from Argentina ! Peacock Alley for dinner not good on Tuesday night. Tomato soup cold. And ceaser salad was average. HOWEVER Philip made up for that with his way way above bar kindness and service !!! We love Philip!! We ended up going to Bull and Bear for corn chowder soup! OH MY GOSH. Where to start ... service was amazing !!! And the food the best I have had in months . And Luis Rios made up for cold soup in Peacock Alley with WAY ABOVE average service and kindness !!!! I cannot wait to go back to Bear and Bull !! And I know Peacock Alley will come up with a plan to improve food. Especially with Philip on their team ! Hard to compete with Florida's B E S T resturant a 100 feet away !! Also I took my own wine and paid a corking fee. Said allot of money. Thank you Waldorf. Your not quite " The Savoy" in London but with time and practice I think you could get there ! Collapse

Beautiful hotel, amazing staff, wonderful breakfast, perfect pools, and prime location! We were a short ride from any parks you could want to go but weren't right on top of all the craziness they can bring. Worth every penny!

I will start out with the positives: Beautiful lobby, nice public areas including indoors and outdoors, large bathrooms in the hotel rooms, really comfortable beds, nice size rooms, great location, super convenient if you are doing Disney, good shuttle, bonus to be next to the Hilton. Now for the negatives: Service/responsiveness: for some reason they couldn't get it together. It took multiple times to get them to bring cribs to our room and towels to our room. Sometimes we would call downstairs or housekeeping and it just rang and rang and rang. I have never had an experience like that at a hotel, let alone a higher end one. Carpet in our room was stained and kind of gross looking. Toilet in our bathroom was broken. It flushed, but water would splash up and OUTWARD out of the bowl. Totally gross and disappointing that housekeeping would either miss or ignore that. When we called them to fix it, they were on it right away. There were days that housekeeping waited so late to come to our room, that we were unable to get the room cleaned because of our schedule/kids' naps. We found it frustrating as we would let them know early in the morning, say 8am, that they had until 1pm to clean it, or after 4pm, and it just didn't happen. The thermostat would randomly go off program in the middle of the night. If we had it set to 70 degrees when going to bed, it would get hot in the middle of the night, and in the morning it would be up to 74. Really annoying. I was there for an event with a large group in April, so it's possible I will go back if that's where the trip goes, but I would not choose to stay there on my own if I were just going to Orlando without an organized group. I would probably expect the same quality of hotel in the hilton, marriot, wyndham, hyatt, etc. And if I wanted upscale I would try a Four Seasons or Ritz if there is one nearby. Collapse
