We visited the hotel during October term holidays with two kids ( 3 & 7) & had a nice time. We arrived late at the hotel & the reception staff was very helpful to arrange the check in & informed that the dinner has been arranged in the room. The room was nice, overlooking the Alcudia City with nice view. We were half board & enjoyed the breakfast & dinner. Being a vegetarian we had enough choices for breakfast and dinner to keep us busy. The food was nicely arranged & well cooked with many choices. The staff at this hotel is fantastic & very helpful. The kids entertainment team is the heart of this hotel. Isabel, Hasan & Nicolai were fantastic keeping the kids busy whole day, hats off to them. The place is kids heaven with lots of activity from lego, football, dance, multiple activities throughout the day. The pools are nice & clean with nice pirate themed play area within them keeping the children excited. The hotel also has a mini shop, which has everything you need & is a bit cheaper than the city shops. The hotel is within walking distance to one of the best beach in Alcudia. The beach has shallow waters, so its very children friendly. The hotel has many places nearby if you wish to eat outside. Old Town, Port Alcudia, Port Pollentia, Steps Church Pellentia is 5-10min taxi ride from the hotel. Collapse

We will definitely be going back again Collapse

This was our first family Holiday and our second visit to Alcudia........amazing describes it perfectly! We went self catering but decided to upgrade to all inclusive as a lot of the restaurants on the resort were shut for the season. The room was spotlessly clean, super kingsize comfortable bed, his and hers sink, walk in shower......the bathroom was every bit as good as the Sandals Antigua resort we stayed in last year. The grounds and dining areas were extremely well kept, but the best bit was the staff.....so helpful and friendly even after a long hard season nothing was too much trouble.....Tony, Xisco, Isobella the kids entertainer from 8-10pm+ they were great so we're the other members of staff I just didn't catch their names. A few pointers for this time of year, we had 3 days sun the rest mixed it didn't spoil our fun or our children's but the pool was a lot colder than the beach which was lovely and warm, so the days where it was more amenable to stay in the hotel you had to endure a relatively cold pool, the hotel supermarket and surrounding ones are literally days away from closing until April if it's out of stock it won't be coming back until next year and understandably so. Entertainment was great for kids if not a little repetitive but in my opinion I chose this hotel so I was relaxed because my 6 and 4 year old were enjoying themselves and that they were......if you want great adult entertainment as a couple I'd recommend elsewhere, but if your happy to relax with the knowledge that your children are being entertained and the bar staff are equally as attentive to your drink refills whilst watching the kids dance with Bufo you'll not want for more. My little lad had a little accident and we needed a doctor, now this was the first time having to use foreign medical help and it was second to none we had a doctor to our room in less than 30 minutes my boy all stitched up and a second appointment booked for the following day as the doctor makes two visits once in the morning and once in the evening ( payable locally ). What was nice was after all of this was happening we missed dinner service but my partner chanced her arm and wandered down at about 11pm caught the eye of one of the staff and a chef and explained the situation, next thing I know she is back to our room with a buffet selection in take away boxes!! Fantastic! The next morning genuine interest how he was doing, these are some great great people. On the food side again very good something for everyone, quite carb orientated but I'd challenge you to find a better selection all inclusive option......all in all Bravo Viva Sunrise.....see you next year.......the last people to depart 112...thank you! Just back from another amazing stay in Viva Sunrise. After being there in April with our two boys, my wife and I returned for a 3 day October break and it was so relaxing. We received a warm welcome from Monika in reception on arrival and this continued throughout our stay from all the management and staff. Our apartment was beautiful and there was a welcome pack of wine and fruit awaiting us. Everywhere was always clean and the rooms were cleaned daily. Pool view was perfect and that view ... you can never grow tired of it. The first two days saw glorious weather and there were many families sunbathing by the pool. Despite it being the final week of the season, the hotel was still in full swing. The entertainment team were always on hand for both the children and adults. Even though we didn’t have children with us on this trip, there is an air of life with the sound of families while on holiday. You will always get this warm feeling at Viva Sunrise. One of the nights saw a large group stay over as part of their cycling holiday with 1987 Tour de France winner Stephen Roche, so, for any of you cycling enthusiasts, this is another plus. All in all, we had a beautiful, relaxing stay. It was my 13th time visiting this amazing Aparthotel and, before we left, we booked another family week for Summer 2017. Thank you Mathias, Ivan, Monika, Guillam, Jonathan, Xisco, Alex, Jesus, Claus, Hasan, Izabela ... and everyone. See you next year !! Collapse

Just finished our stay at Viva Sunrise after 7 nights. 4 adults , two children. The hotel is modern, very clean and nicely decorated. The staff at reception on arrival were very friendly and helpful. The food has been excellent everyday. In the morning there is a buffet style with plenty of choice of different dishes. Lunchtime there is a waiter served lunch with a great menu on offer. The evening meal similar to breakfast is a buffet style and again plenty of choices. The service provided by the waiters has been very good indeed, very quick service and all very friendly. In particular Xisco and Manuel have been fantastic with our party all week-big thank you to them both. For the kids there is the pirate club. My daughter didn't attend every day due to be quite shy but she did join in with the mini disco that is on every evening and the t shirt painting. The mini club is run by a fantastic bunch of people that really get the kids involved and have fun. Izabela really made a great impression with my daughter and was so lovely to her, thank you Izabela. The entertainment after the kids disco has been good, finishing at 10pm which I think when you have young kids with you is a perfect time. The rooms are very well maintained and again the cleaning staff have been very friendly and have kept the rooms spotless. Thank you to all at Viva Sunrise for a very pleasant stay. We will definitely book again! Collapse
