I have literally just got home from our holiday to viva sunrise and wanted to write this while fresh in my mind. We booked this holiday last minute after just having a baby and already having a 3 year old and wanting something else to look forward to. I was initially concerned after finding out beforehand we would need to pay extra for a cot but had bigger things to worry about so let it go. When we arrived the room wasn't ready so went for some lunch (told it was the last day for buffet lunch, only menu order onwards). We rushed lunch as just wanted to get in room. We paid extra for poolside. The room was beautiful, very clean and modern. Lovely big TV with bbc one and itv. The bed was huge and one of the comfiest I've ever slept on. We spent the afternoon getting bearings and a nice walk down the beach. It's very close to everything you would need and the beach is a short walk, give for little legs. The food was great. Always something good to eat. We loved the a la carte lunch menu. Breakfast was one of my favourite meals, something for all! I think they spoil you with the drinks here! Waiter drinks service at night and branded spirits!! Unlike other hotels you get a glass for your drinks, unless you order takeaway or are spending time around the pool, which is fair enough. Glass and small children don't mix! The entertainment was OK. A mini disco for the little ones and then some really good acts. We saw a circus one night and 2 hilarious clowns the next night! It all finishes quite early though. It was only ruined one night by some awful really drunk man who the staff couldn't control. Not their fault though. The staff were all very helpful and extremely friendly. Very quick to help out especially in early days when we weren't sure how it all worked. Only a couple of miserable faces, it you can't be happy all the time. We asked to upgrade to their most expensive suite halfway through and was offered one for two nights. We jumped at the chance. We had a room with a separate sun terrace and jacuzzi!! Best decision we made. Beautiful view, extra little things in bathroom and a robe and slippers. I think we spent two solid days in the jacuzzi. The staff were very accommodating and could have saved some hassle by saying no. Overall it is one of the best holidays I have had and will go again if we can get it at the same price!! Well done Viva Sunrise you lived up to everything you said you were!!! Collapse

We stayed here as a family of four and our first experience was 'what a nice hotel'. The rooms were fine and it seemed quite although when we tried to sleep every night there were dustbin lorries banging and crashing outside after midnight. To then top it off there were deliveries at 6:30am every morning just outside our window. My wife was very upset and couldn't believe they emptied bins at that hour. We got moved up a few floors and over a bit to see if that helped but it was just a bit fainter if any. The windows are paper thin and even shut tight doesn't stop the banging and crashing. I do understand that this work had to be carried out but why not at a more decent hour. The hotel was a nice place to be with some lovely staff and the pools are great, there is lots of space around the pool and it is a very nice place to be through out the day time. If we could be promised a quite room next time we would return other wise I'll look elsewhere. Collapse
