This was our first visit to this hotel chosen because it was adults only and convenient location for getting around. We were initially disappointed on arrival as the hotel looked quiet plain and uninteresting from the outside with its flat looking exterior and no grand impressive entrance. Inside the lobby was cool, clean and modern. The check-in was quick and the reception staff friendly and efficient. We were offered a glass of Cava or orange juice while we were waiting to check in to our room. We were offered an upgrade to the Regency room for an extra €50 per night but we decided to stay with our upgraded Premier sea view room. There was no cost for the safe which was a pleasant surprise. The room itself was on the third floor tucked in the far corner but the view was good and we had the afternoon/evening sun. There was a small fridge which contained 2 bottles of coke, 2 bottles of beer and 2 small bottles of water which were all free of charge but if we wanted anything further then we would be charged. We were also able to get a kettle free of charge and ask for extra pillows from the pillow menu. The room wasn't luxurious but comfortable and provided everything we needed. The bathroom felt slightly dated but this may be because of the colour of the marble used which was a dark gold shade. The location was good as the back of the hotel led directly onto the beach (although not looking its best when we were there as the council was busy clearing the seaweed and there were tractors and lorries going back and forth all week). The level promenade enabled easy walking in either direction. The marina just a short walking distance away along with all the shops, restaurants and bars (although not everything was opened when we were there this week). The hotel has two pools; one only around 1.30m deep and lovely and warm and the other deeper and a little cooler. The gardens surrounding the pools were kept immaculate by dedicated grounds staff. Towels were always available on request from the friendly pool attendant. There seemed to be plenty of sunbeds available and nice to see that guests were adhering to the hotel policy of not putting towels on the sunbeds and then walking away. There was also a jacuzzi and a sauna in the grounds to use free at anytime. You could also help yourself to fruit from the bowl in reception all day and also free Cava from the bar area. We found all the staff to be friendly and helpful and because the hotel has only around 117 rooms they made you feel really welcome. The hotel also laid on free excursions; walking and cycling tours. Free yoga, Pilates and Spanish lessons. As far as the food was concerned, we found the breakfasts to be good with plenty of choice on offer to suit most taste - my husband was able to enjoy his cooked breakfast every morning whilst I had a good choice of fruits, yogurts and cereals. However, the evening meals tended to be slightly repetitive and lacking variety. It was mainly aimed at a Mediterranean diet with a few extra changes each evening. If they had meat such as pork or beef on offer then it was sometimes difficult to find suitable vegetables to go with it. There was always salad available so there was always something to eat but not the selection you would have if it was a bigger hotel. I also found the desserts lacking in imagination and again very repetitive. The restaurant itself did feel slightly dated and lacked atmosphere - apart from the covered area which felt cosier with candles lit on each of the tables. Coffee was also available free of charge in the bar area after dinner where you could sit and listen to the entertainment. Overall this was a good hotel that tries its best to please the guests and offer a good service . We would be happy to return again in the future. Collapse

Fantastic location for this bespoke business trip, where the group I was traveling with, were guest of the host booker. The hotel is located directly on the beach and I was lucky enough to have a stunning sea view. The local amenities included garage, supermarket, chemist, cafe and shops all within a very short walking distance. Bedrooms are spacious(Royal Terrace), well appointed and an air of luxury. The lighting and bed linen both exceptional. The staff were helpful, informative, flexible and they made my experience here a pleasureable one. I'd love to return for a short break as a holiday guest at a warmer time of the year! Collapse

Stayed here during November as it was one of the few hotels in Port dAlcudia which was open at that time of year. The hotel is right on the beach so at other times of the year you could simply walk straight out of the garden onto the beach. I think the hotel caters for a slightly more sophisticated clientele than some of the others in the vacinity being an adults only hotel. There is a lovely pool in well kept gardens with plenty of room for sun loungers for those who like to lay by the pool. I had a room at the end of the building on the fifth floor. Very quiet and easy to get to via the twin glass lifts. The room was a reasonable size, very clean, everything worked including a good powerful shower over the bath in the well equipped bathroom. Good flat screen TV within several channels. Good wifi reception within the room. Breakfast was served in a large breakfast room stretched across the front of the hotel open fronted in the summer months onto the garden. There was a very wide offer of both hot and cold food to suit the very wide international client base. There was an egg chef on duty to provide freshly cooked eggs the way you like them and producing fantastic omelettes to order. I only had one small grumble during my stay which was that the safe in the room was locked when I arrived . I asked on at least 4 occasions for this to be opened to no avail. I gave up asking in the end. I drove to the hotel in a hire car from the airport. As I was staying in November I never had a problem parking in the road outside the hotel where you can park on both sides of e road. However I think this is probably a different kettle of fish in the height of the season when I think parking could be a major problem as the hotel has no off street parking of its own. It's about a 50 minute drive to Palma which is a great city to spend a least a day exploring. I would recommend this hotel to couples and singles and would happily stay there again if I find myself in Majorca. Collapse

We booked the hotel for couple of nights in November and used it as base to explore the north part of the island. The front desk staff is very professional, efficient and helpful. The hotel lobby, lounge area, bar and dining facilities are spotlessly clean, bright and very relaxing. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable, with a nice seaview. Nice bathroom, but layout is a bit weird. High wall bathtub in combination with narrow bath space could make it hard for people with mobility issues to get in and out of the shower. A shower stall(cabin) would have been much more appropriate for this type of bathroom. The small shampoo bottle was half used, which was a first for us in a hotel anywhere, but we chose not to use it and had a good laugh for this overlooked detail, instead of making a drama out of it. Buffet breakfast and dinner were excellent, in terms of food quality, variety and service. There is also a station for food prepared on order which is great. The personnel will greet you with a smile every time. Live music in the evening makes the atmosphere very enjoyable. Monday night "Manager's Cocktail Night" was a nice touch. The hotel manager, Mr. Epis is personally greeting all his guests and interacts with them. We did not use the hotel amenities but guests seemed quite happy and having a good time. A suggestion for the hotel management, who is embracing customer feedback: please make the safe use free for the guests or find a way to add a small cost in the room rate and save the hotel guests the extra time and effort to rent a safe. The safe could be rented during our stay for an additional 2 eur or so. You can make it simple and people will appreciate it. In conclusion, we had a great time at Vanity Golf Hotel. Would we return? Absolutely!!! Highly recommended! Collapse
