We stayed at Villas Finesse in September. Our villa had 3 rooms (one with balcony), 3 bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room and terrace with private pool. Each room has a safe, two bathrobes and pool towels, and each bathroom has more than enough towels + a hairdryer. Kitchen is well equiped, but be prepared to buy some basic things like dish washing detergent, paper towels, salt, pepper etc. Villa was clean and their cleaning ladies are super nice. We didn’t like that the pool wasn’t heated, because the weather was perfect for swimming, but the water was really cold. There is also a grill outside. Overall it was a relaxing and peaceful stay and their staff is very nice and helpful. However, we highly recommend you to rent a car. Also let me remind you, that their reception is not at the same place as the villas. Anyway we would definitely come back here! Collapse

My friends booked here for a 3 week visit and I joined them for a few days. It's their 3rd or 4th time staying here and have already booked back in for next year. The villa is spacious and the pool is lovely, sun bathing towels are provided and the deck chairs are comfy. It lost a star because the villa is a little dated and my ensuite room wasn't cleaned very well. What would make me want to come back is how peaceful it is. You feel like your miles away from everything but 4 minutes in your car and you're in the middle of Son Bou. Collapse

Stayed at villa 2 in June 2017 a few hiccups which were dealt with but all in all a great pllace to stay. If you get any problems contact reception straight away, we had a few issues and had a complimentary late checkout. We stayed in a one storey villa which was ideal for our family - we had a 2 yr old with us and although I was a little sceptical about a villa holiday, it was actually perfect - we had a veranda with a seating area and a table and chairs and steps down to the pool area, which was added protection with a 2 yr old - the 2 storey villas are not set up like this. 2 of the rooms had en suite bathrooms and one of the bedrooms had a bathroom that was accessible from the main villa, all bathrooms had a hairdryer, 2 of the bathrooms had walk in showers and 1 had a shower over a bath. the kitchen is well eqipped and there is complimentary washing up liquid and dishwasher solution. If you are arriving late, I would recommend that you you bring tea/coffee and breakfast unless you want to go into Son Bou for breakfast. There is a small shop just opposite the villas- opposite the children's park which sells a limited amount of things but is particularly useful for ice creams and water. the walk into Son Bou is not for the feint hearted - not so bad going down but a challenge coming back up- it is probably best to hire a car for more than one reason, even if you are very fit, the trek up the hill is challenging but also, if you want to see anything of the island it is not easy to get anywhere by bus- you need to go into Mahon first and then get a bus out to wherever you want to go. We didn't have a car and had a 2 yr old and a 7 yr old with us - the hill was a challenge but heigh ho despite eating rubbish for a week we didn't put on any weight! We took a bus to Mahon for the day and a taxi to the zoo, the rest of the time we spent at the villa or on the beach, if you are there for more than a week you will need a car. All in all though a great place to stay and would definitely go back. Collapse

Stayed 29th April till 7th May very start of season some places not fully open ie. Other accommodation places. Villa: The villa has everything you could wish for and more. Its very well equipt with everything you need, kitchen as all the pans etc you need. The rooms are great just two of us so has the run of this three bed three bathroom stunning villa. Great views. Very secure with electric door to complex and another to the Villa. The pool is a major plus not heated but still fabulous has outdoor BBQ area, seating area etc. Towels provided all rooms and bathrobes provided for main bedroom. Photos: Not added any photos as their photos are spot on to what the place looks like. Reception: Reception is down towards the beach front on one of the roads which run down to the sea, quite some distance from the villas. signposted when you drive into son bou so not too hard to find. villas are at the top of the hill of overlooking Son Bou. Supermarket: The supermarket in Son Bou expensive so advice to go back up near the airport to get shopping only 20mins away by car. Car hire: Advice booking a car from the UK we did it via auto europe (a broker) and car insurance get this in UK too. Car was with OK cars Picked up from airport by them short ride to their office pick up car. Much cheaper then out there. And 20 mins from airport drive to Son Bou. Advice downloading a maps app to smart phone then does not use any data (dependent on app) then can use as a Sat Nav. If you have any questions about the villa or area Son Bou email the villas via Trip advisor and they get back to you ASAP. Lovely green small island enjoy your stay. Collapse
