We were here for four nights. Our room modern, but classic. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was roomy and well lighted and had the luxury of a tub....great after days of being on your feet. What I really appreciated was the reading lights and the bright, well placed lights around the room. There were many choices for breakfast and the open view on the 5th floor was lovely. Roberto and the other desk clerks were so very helpful in calling our desired restaurants for reservations. They also had a car service to take us to the airport the morning we left. The location was great and we walked many places, but just around the corner was a taxi stand we used many times. Collapse

I cannot recommend Hotel Tritone enough! My boyfriend and I were really looking forward to our first trip abroad together and our first time in Italy! I did plenty of research to find a hotel that was both beautiful, embodied the "Rome" experience and was still within my budget (limited budget). This hotel was all of that and more! We booked one of the upgraded supreme rooms for only a little bit more in dollars and it was so worth it! Our room was modern in decor with in-room wifi, a flat screen tv, a lovely modern bathroom and we were also surprised to pull the curtains to find a balcony over looking via del tritone (we were only on the first floor but the view was still fantastic!!!). The hotel was very close to the metro station and around the corner from the Trevi Fountain. There is also a supermarket across the street and it's a block away from the shopping scene of Via Del Corso. The location was amazing for the price! all of the staff were always so helpful offering us full directions to the sites using the metro. On the night we arrived, the lovely gentleman at the front desk highlighted all of the attractions for us on the map he gave to us. This was so helpful throughout our entire trip. The breakfast was fantastic with options to satisfy every taste (eggs, sausages, meats, cheeses, croissants, fruits, pastries, juices, coffee, cappuccinos, and more!) and it was on the 5th floor with a beautiful view! We wandered the streets Round the hotel for hours never seeing the same thing twice. We will never forget this trip and will certainly return to Hotel Tritone. Thank you for the great experience! 1st night we had upgraded to a superior room. It was on the 3rd floor and very adequate for our needs. Traffic noise is a small issue especially if you open the window, but was ok and did not prevent a good nights sleep. Breakfast was good with a ample range of foods, from a cooked breakfast, cereals, bread, toast, drinks, fruit, yoghurt, milk etc. Slight downside was the shower, while the ensuite was nice and clean the shower door had been replaced by a curtain which clung to you, and the shower head angle no longer functioned correctly. However, we did not comment at the time as we managed still to shower effectively. We had a night away and then returned to the standard room, this time of the forth floor. The safe didn't work, and the beds were made up as singles. However, these were soon rectified. Limited teas and coffees are provided and only polystyrene cups which we found a little strange. However, it's location is very handy for the Trevi fountain, two minutes walk, the Vatican 35 minutes walk, Colosseum 25 minutes and plenty to see on the way. Roberto was particularly helpful and welcoming, especially ensuring we got a taxi to return us to the airport. All in all a positive experience. Collapse
