Will be returning for sure! Collapse

The computer system broke down on arrival, more than 100 guests in line were told to "come back in a couple of hours" when it should be fixed. The staff did their best and the manual system that was in place actually worked quite well after the long wait. However, they issued blank room cards that were not recognized by security who refused to let me access elevators! Guard was rude about it. I complained to the front desk manager who did not seem very interested in my concerns (kept typing at the key board while speaking with me, no eye contact. You would think that after a major service issue they would treat impacted guests much better than this. I wont be back! Collapse

I booked a King room through the TI website. There was a Mystere package special. It appeared to be a TV ad special, which, combined with a free TI Guestbook membership, would allow us to have the resort fees waived. We didn't need any of the services included in those fees. At check-in, the agent told me that I had booked through a third party (not true) and that the Mystere package was not a TV ad special. The website is misleading and confusing, then. Also, we had booked a king room, which he confirmed at check-in. We dumped our stuff in the room and headed out to dinner and a show. It was late when we got back and we were very tired and fell into bed. In the middle of the night, my husband rolled over and crashed into me. I awoke very suddenly, startled. I was thinking, what the heck is going on??? In the morning, we looked more closely at the bed. It was not a king. It looked more like a queen. (We have a king at home). It turns out is a California king. Well, that is not the same thing. My husband is 5'8 and I am 5 31/2, so we certainly don't need the extra length. However, the width is important - on a regular mattress, the outer 6" or so are pretty much unusable because of the rolled edge/slope. I often sleep with my elbows out, so having extra room is important. We just didn't sleep well at all during our stay. My husband called the front desk and they were unsympathetic and offered no compensation. The website is falsely advertising when they call it a king bed. Cal king and king are NOT the same thing. I would have booked a different hotel had a I known this. (First and last time at TI). Moving on..... the hotel room was very quiet. Very seldom, we would hear a hall door closing, but didn't have any noise from other rooms. Oh, I had requested no adjoining rooms, and we got one anyway. Fortunately, no noise issues there. The room is a bit dated, but appeared clean. I appreciated having the mini-fridge, which was a major factor in choosing TI. We made good use of having CVS right there to stock up on bottled water and snacks and a couple of medicinal emergencies. We were in room 18022. After getting to know the hotel layout, I realized that nearly every room has a strip view, but I am glad that we were higher up. The pool was below us, but far enough that we weren't bothered by any noise. The AC worked well to cool the room and act as white noise. The mojito I had at The Coffee Shop was better than the one I had at the Mojito Bar/Seafood Shack. The Vietnamese food at Pho was phenomenal, but the American cuisine desserts were nothing to write home about. (Pho is inside the Coffee Shop, but they must have different chefs) Some have commented about the smoke in the casino. We walked through a LOT of casinos this week to avoid the heat, and they all smelled about the same. I don't think TI was any worse than the rest. The room and bathroom were plenty spacious. There is a light in the closet which is always on, but is nice to have a bit of a nightlight. With the doors closed, there is just a bit of a glow if you get up in the dark, It was a good location, but, because of the bed issue, I would book somewhere else next time. Collapse

We pulled up to the front of T.I. The Valet guy was super nice and so was the Bell hop and "WOW" it's free! Super nice lady at the registration desk and the 2 queen room is amazing! Very spacious and looks high end. The Bell hop brought the bags up very quickly and left each bag in each appropriate place. We have been treated like royalty. Definitely ranks as one of the, if not the best hotel stay I've had! Bravo Tteasure Island!!!!! Collapse

Ate at coffee shop for breakfast food was always lovely, and all of the staff are really nice and friendly. Also ate at the seafood shack which was amazing, drinks great too - I recommend the Coronarita. All of the staff that we spoke to from check in to check out were fantastic. I will definitely be coming back to stay at TI Collapse
