Decided to stay and extra night in Bournemouth so this hotel was ideally situated across the road from our other hotel. Ideally located a short walk to the sea front and around 15-20 mins walk depending on your mobility to the town centre. Room was large and clean although a tad cold the one heater wasn't sufficient to keep room warm constantly. Great walk in shower. Cannot comment on food as we didn't eat here Collapse

We wife/ self booked seats for a show in Bournemouth International Centre. Rather than have the hassle of travel back home after the show, we decided that we would book a room for the night at this hotel. We were not disappointed! We arrived at 2.15pm (check-in time 3.00pm). We went to reception to ask if that as we were early, could we just ‘book in’ and come back later in the afternoon to our room. The friendly and welcoming receptionist checked room availability, told us not to worry about the time – as our room was ready and available for us to use straight away! A thoughtful and welcome start to our short break after a three hour journey! The overall important first impression of our room on arrival was – Immaculate, reasonably spacious, large comfortable bed, very welcome tea/coffee making facility (not expected) TV/hairdryer. A minor niggle, not a complaint, was the fact that there were no draws or wardrobe for storing clothes – not very helpful for a longer stay. But in fairness, it is a ‘Travel’ hotel after all, to keep the prices reasonable and with no expectancy of three star hotel facilities for sure. The restaurant was very clean and comfortable, modern basic style. We didn’t get to eat a main meal here, but we very much enjoyed the unlimited breakfasts! Buffet style with all well cooked food to cater for most tastes for sure plus a really good selection of fruit juices, cereals yoghurts etc, There is a (not a large) car park, primarily for the use of residents at a reasonable price of£6.00 per 24 hours. (£12 per 24 hrs for non- residents) A couple that we spoke at the show had just paid £13.50 just for the evening in the car park adjoining the BIC! Returning from the show, we asked if a late snack was available – happily yes, and many choices available during the night if pre-requested – nice one! One other thing to mention – the Bar. One beer on draught, Guinness at £3.80, better than most pub prices, as was the price list for other drinks. This hotel was most certainly a ‘best buy’ for us. Just a 5 minute walk (even at our being ‘Very Senior Citizens’ pace!)away from the BIC. Finally, the hotel team were all very helpful during our short stay, always with a smile! Having ‘discovered’ a great location to stay in Bournemouth for whatever reason, we will be coming back for more in the future! Will always recommend. Well done Travelodge Bournemouth Seafront Hotel Collapse

I was there for just one night on a stag weekend. The hotel is perfect for that kind of thing...cheap and relatively cheerful, at least once you have had a skinful of booze! The girl on reception was a bit frost and took forever to allocate everyone in our party to their rooms. The room itself, as well as the reception area and restaurant, were pretty clean; the breakfast was passable and the hotel is a 20-minute walk (40 minute return stumble) from the centre of town, but just a couple of minutes from the lovely beach and prom. The place is basic, though you get what you pay for so expect budget-style accommodation - but if you want a cheap hotel that's a stone's throw from the sea and a stroll in to town then it is probably better than most of the alternatives.
