Succeeded expectations. Everywhere exstreamly clean and maintained. The pool had plenty of sun beds and seats in the shade. Food was spot on cheap and great quality. Large nice appartments with friendly staff. Excellent appartments would highly recommend. The appartments are located a bit away from the beach. Taxis take a maximum of 4 people. The taxis will try ripping you off by starting the tariff before they arrive to the appartments. Normaly start at €3 odd but we sometimes got into the taxi and the fair was already at €7. Collapse

Stayed here for five nights in an apartment at the back of block two. The view wasn't great (a brick wall and service road) but it was quiet and the apartment was very clean and tidy. Other apartments overlook the pool or front entrance which may be slightly noisier. We didn't use any of the on-site facilities (shop, bar, restaurant) but the pool area was clean and well maintained with nightly entertainment. Plenty of space in the basement car park if arriving by car. Room safe was an extra €2 a day with a €6 deposit and we had to pay a refundable €60 deposit for the room. The complex is in a quiet residential area of town which means a peaceful night's sleep but a bit of a trek uphill (about 1.5km) from the sea front. Would definitely stay here again. Collapse

The hotel is great value for money, at the end of the day you get what you pay for. It's not huge and is located out of the centre of Benidorm, around a 15 minute walk downhill to the old town, a little further to the new town. The hotel is very clean, we were a group of 6 celebrating a special birthday, we had to reserve sunbeds from around 6.30am to be sat together. Sunbeds were uncomfortable plastic ones, but you can hire a foam cushion for a euro per bed per day, which made them a lot easier to lie on. Pool is fab, very big, with a wide ledge all the way around, so great for sitting and cooling down. HUGE issue is the lack of shade, there are no parasols at all, there is a section that is totally covered in shade, huge awning, but most people don't want to lie in the shade all day !? The hotel should really rectify this, especially for those with small children, it was so hot so in August it will be stifling. The apartments were clean, roomy with great balconies where you could dry your towels, swimwear etc. However, beds were really uncomfortable. Linen and towels are awful, paper thin. No washing up liquid, dishcloth etc if you're going to cater for yourselves. Air con is great and you get two keys so can leave it on whilst you're at the pool etc. Food is basic but breakfast was good value for money, english breakfast, eggs, bacon, beans, tomatoes, yogurts, bread for toasting, fruit, pastries, quality quite poor but edible. Bar snacks as you'd imagine, quite good value but very basic and average quality, good for a plate of chips and mayo :) Staff are very hit and miss, some are polite and friendly. We had a mix up with breakfast as they didn't have a note that I had paid for it, and took at least 20 minutes to resolve at reception. Walk to town not too bad, but coming back is hard going as all up hill. Taxi's only seat 4, so expensive as there were 6 of us and we constantly had to pay for 2. Beach in the centre of Benidorm was absolutely 'rammed', so we didn't bother going, we went to Altea which is beautiful, on the number 10 bus, only one euro fifty each from centre of Benidorm. Pebble beach with aqua marine, turquoise sea, great bars along the beachfront with gorgeous food, lots of shops but were closed as was siesta time, but look great. Nightlife in Benidorm centre was an experience, having never been before, but 'acts' were fantastic in all the bars, as was the trip to Benidorm palace, see my other reviews .... Collapse

Arrived at the Terralta to be welcomed by a very friendly receptionist. Check in went smoothly and we went off to our rooms. We had requested that our rooms be together, instead we was apart. I'd sent an email several weeks before hand asking for this. I also asked if they could do something for my sis in laws birthday. Cava or cake in the room, didn't happen. I did say that I would gladly pay for this but,no response from email. Even the tour operator emailed them. I wouldn't mind but I would have paid for this. Anyway, we had a pleasant stay until the argumentative neighbours arrived. Every night they would argue not just one side of us but both sides. Adult pool, well, there where more kids going in than adults. Lilos, balls and whatever else they could take in. Staff just turned a blind eye. It's an adult pool for a reason during the summer months. On the positive side rooms nice and spacious, everything you need for a s/c holiday. Only ate in there twice. The terralta burger was fab but the chicken curry I would stay away from. Some of the staff need to be trained in customer care. Some of the staff just looked like they couldnt be bothered. Such a shame really. Not many of them smiled and when spoken to all you got back was a grunt. Blonde lady on reception was very nice and Jane in the mini market was lovely. All in all we had a pleasant enough stay. Sorry if we come back to benidorm it will be more nearer the old town. Collapse
