I shall write a detailed review as that is what i always look for when booking a holiday. Hotel: The hotel itself is very nice, big pool always clean. Very friendly staff. Sunbeds wasnt an issue we managed to get some at 8am before breakfast and even 9am when we wanted a lie in and there would be still a few that wasnt being used. Also a terrace that always had sunbeds available. Small bar near pool not many tables and chairs for everyone at evening time, people had to stand up or use sunbeds to sit on. The bar also had long queues in the evening with only one person serving. So prepare to queue at least 20mins before 11pm for last round and make sure people do not push in as a lot of germans did this when i was there. The hotel has no air con anywhere. This is a problem when eating in the restaurant as with lots of hot food around is gets extremely hot! Food and drink: The food was lovely! Every lunch and dinner time always had different dishes every day. Breakfast had different types of sausages every day english german and cocktail sausages. Different types of eggs. Cold meats, all bread. One day even served crepes which was delicious! Fresh orange juice also available. Lunch had burgers, hotdogs, chips, fresh pasta in different sauces, chicken wings, chicken drumsticks, fish, fish fingers, chicken nuggets, salads, cold pasta etc. Always had a fresh dish that was either paella, pasta with pork, rice with chicken. All these foods wasnt on same day varied throughout the week. Dinner had chicken breast chicken with bacon, pork chops, pork ribs, fish, beef stew rice and pasta. Also ice creams available small cakes jelly. Food sometimes was a little on the colder side but we found going at soon at it opend was better as everything was fresh. Drinks were okay. Beer sangria and wines was lovely. Cocktails came from a machine and wasnt great would have been better mixing them properly. Use local spirits that did seem to be a little weak even though they filled half the cup. Could pay an extra 10 euro for all inclusive plus which would use well known brands like smirnoff malibu etc. Room: The rooms was very nice and spacious. Had no faults really other than it was like a sauna so defo needed to a hire a fan. That was 10 euro for a week + 10 euro deposit. Maid cleaned 5 times a week always very clean. Area: 5/10 min walk to shops restaurants. Really.nice area. Close to beach although not very sandy. Ate at fado rock steakhouse one night would highly reccomend. Had fillet steak was delicious double the size than what we have in england! Always very busy may have to queue for a table. Pieres cafe and restaurant also very nice enjoyed cocktails here that were delicious! Very big also. They had entertainment here every night which was very good. The hotel lacked on entertainment only one game of bingo or a quiz then maybe karoake but that wasnt every night so was quite disapointing and had to look elsewhere. Overall a very good hotel brill food and great valur for money we enjoyed our weeks stay. Just maybe improve on air con especially in restaurant and maybe some proper entertainment at evening time and i would have given 5 stars. Thanks for a great week! Collapse

All of the staff are so friendly and helpful, everywhere is clean and the food is good quality and plenty of options, always fresh salad and chips! I also found it very impressive that you can enjoy the all inclusive, even if you've already checked out. If being picky, there are a few marks on the wall and we didn't have a shelf in the bathroom, but by the 2nd day, the maintenance man had fixed it. Also a massive shout out to Sergio and Nena! Excellent staff, always smiling and having a good time with the holiday makers! Thank you for a lovely stay! Collapse

Just returned from a week in La Tahona Garden, whilst it is by no means the best hotel for the price paid it far exceeded my expectations. The hotel is very clean, comfortable and welcoming. The room itself was basic but perfectly adequate, most of the amenities require extra payment such as hairdryer, safe & fan. Whilst we got by without I would recommend getting the fan, it can be very warm at night. The food itself was of a good quality and loads of variety everyday, I ate so much food simply because it all looked too tasty to leave behind. Great selection of drinks and no need for premium drinks unless you absolutely must, one tip for the self serve beer in the dining hall is just to let it run first. Lots of people with very frothy beers. The pool area is clean & well kept, however everyone deserves sunbeds despite all the requests by the hotel not too. You can usually get a spot though, especially up on the sun terrace. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and extremely hardworking, I couldn't believe how many hours they do and how much work. My only criticism would be is to have more staff, particularly on the pool bar at night as there can be a long queue to get a drink. Overall I had a fantastic stay, the hotel and staff is brilliant value for money. If I ever find myself in fuerteventura again I would have no problem staying here again. Collapse

THis hotel is in a great area ....and from what I can gather the best you can get in caleta de fuste for the price ....Ive been twice now ...and the only thing that took me back there the 2nd time ,was the layout of the hotel itself and the convenient location ,oh and the staff are fab. Now the bad points> Food is chronic Drinks are toxic. All inclusive is a joke ....croissants and dried up sponge cakes are all you get as snacks ....and only if you get there before they are all gone!! Entertainment ,,,,,hahahaha ...forget it ....bingo every night for a joke bottle of rancid champagne ....its a laugh, so do not break your neck to win. Collapse

I stayed for 1 wk in May. I had emailed in advance requesting a top floor room explaining that as a solo female I would feel much safer NOT being on the ground floor. I was checked in quickly but when I mentioned my request I was told that no rooms on the upper level were available. When I found my room I was very dissapointed. It was round the back facing a gym (a public gym) with a path leading to the front of the hotel and open to the road. It consisted of a bedroom and a bathroom , no kitchen area and there was a connecting door between the bedroom and the apartment next door !!!!! I could hear every word and I must have checked it was locked 10 times a day ! The rest of the hotel was a bit tired but the bar staff and food hall staff were friendly and very hard working. The food was mostly hot and a good selection and the usual selection of salads, cold meats etc. The pool area was kept clean and I met some lovely people at the pool bar. This hotel catered for all I wanted apart from my security and my feeling of being safe which is why I will not be returning.
