Currently staying at this resort and am unimpressed- our 2 bedroom apartment is dark and dated with a small balcony overlooking the sea once you get past the rooftops and gas tanks of neighbouring buildings! The room is clean but housekeeping does not change the towels daily or the bedding at all during the stay. My mums room had a leaky bath and hasn't been cleaned for 2 days and they had to repeatedly request new towels ( as they had been mopping up the leak) before finally getting some 2 days later. As for the facilities- the restaurant isn't owned by the hotel so you get bare minimum there and nothing can be charged to your room- the continental breakfast consisted of Macdonalds style packaged cheese. The pool is across the road as stated in the brochure - the outside pool is unheated and freezing, jacuzzis are empty and the indoor pool has limited access times for kids- I know it's Easter/ April but the holiday is in school holiday times so not cheap- I would expect all facilities to be available unless a discount was being offered for out of season use. The shop mentioned in the brochure does not exist and the bar is rarely open - opens when they feel like it as far as I can make out! To top it off they had no record of our booking when we arrived and had to contact the travel agent, our rooms are not adjoining as we were lead to believe by the agent and we've just been stuck in the lift for 20 minutes and had to be released by engineers. Don't come here is my advice!! It's not a resort and it's certainly not 4 star! Collapse

We were very pleased with our room- clean, spacious, good wi-fi and kitchen facilities, with a balcony looking out to the sea. Walls are thin though and closing any door makes quite a loud sound. Indoor pool was nice and relaxing, although the chlorine was very strong. It was too cold to use the outdoor pool but this area looked nice. 4pm check-in is late so earlier check-ins would be appreciated, but we were able to store our luggage while the room was being made ready and the lady who checked us in was lovely (unfortunately I've forgotten her name). There is a bus stop right outside and numerous restaurants and tour operators along the road. Location is probably a bit far for first time visitors to Malta using public transport- buses not always on time, didn't always stop for passengers! Overall we would recommend this resort and were happy with our stay Collapse
Spacious and accomodating

A master bedroom, kitchen and dining room, sun room, and patio with a view of the sea no more than 300 meters away. The spa and gym access which were just a minutes walk away from the hotel also added to the value of the stay. Very enjoyable visit. My ONLY complaint is the early check out time of 10 AM with no possibility of extension. Collapse
Basic apartments with lovely sea views but don't expect high customer service.

We stayed here for one week in December. Family of five. We booked a two bed sea view room and the room was nice a bit tired and the bedrooms are dated not 4 star. The girls who cleaned the room were friendly and helped with extra soap etc. You are provided with towels toiletries which is great. The rooms have a kitchenette which are great if you want to prepare your own meals, but you are not supplied with tea/coffee etc. Reception is another story - cold uninterested and blunt. We booked as half board as on website it misleadingly advised that there are 4 restaurants - no - there is only one that is included in the half board/breakfast option. The restaurant serves very few dishes and although tasty, you get bored by the third day. Also they kept changing the eating times so we had to rush to get there for breakfast which was served before 10am and the evening meal had to be eaten before 9. If you are taking a car, parking will be a problem as the hotel doesn't have a car park and it is a busy area. In all it was a pleasant stay but I wouldn't say this was a 4 star. Driving around Malta there were lots of lovely family resorts in more open areas with car parks. Depends what you want - if you want a basic clean apartment in central location then this is ok.
