Stayed at the Sunny Coast for Christmas and new year 2016/17 and were immediately impressed on arrival. We received such a warm and friendly welcome on arrival, even though it was late in the evening, and we delighted to find we had been upgraded to a gorgeous apartment! The next morning we were even more impressed to see the amazing views over the harbour and the shops, restaurants and bus stop were right on our doorstep. The rooms were cleaned every day and it was fantastic to have on site a hairdresser, beauty salon, gym and two pools. The hotel restaurant was brilliant, excellent food and service all cooked freshly for you. We can not say a bad thing about this resort and would like to thank Marc and Joanne for looking after us so well. Suzie on behalf of my in laws Valerie & Eddie Collapse

Great location if you'd like to stay at the beach. The room was clean and neatly ordered. Some members of the staff (PM shift at the front desk, cleaning staff and the lady at the front desk of the spa) were so kind and helpful. The AM shift at the front desk quite the opposite, as I asked one day at 5pm for extra blankets, the Lady (who seems to be the boss) told me: "Madam, whenever you need something like this, ask in the morning". We stayed in a studio with kitchenette, we could find all appliances and cookware that we needed. Be mindful of the wind if you're visiting in winter time. The windows are not insulated and it may be cold in the room. Moreover, the general heater runs only until midnight. Nonetheless, I do recommend this resort, the SPA was quite a relaxing place. My family of 8 spent a terrific 11 nights at this hotel over Christmas 2016. We had 2, two bedroom apartments, each of which was spotlessly clean when we arrived. We requested that the apartments be close to each other and our request was granted. The apartments were cleaned daily by very pleasant and friendly staff. Used towels were replaced daily. The apartments were spacious, bright and exceptionally well equipped. One apartment had a sea view and the other was overlooking the street. There was absolutely no issue with noise from either external or internal sources. Once we closed the kitchen door at night we heard absolutely nothing. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful every day. Lillian and the night porter Dimetrov (spelling??) from Bulgaria in particular deserve special mention as they were very attentive. We would recommend this resort to anyone It is close to many restaurants and the bus stop is just outside the hotel. The indoor swimming pool was just fabulous. My husband and 6 children spent many, many happy hours there. Our oldest boy enjoyed the gym immensely. I had my hair done in the salon and was delighted with the service, lovely hair do and price. Wi-fi was available in the lobby area and this area proved to be a really lovely area to sit, relax and chat other guests. We had breakfast in the Butchers Grill Restaurant in the hotel and found the food tasty and extremely reasonably priced with friendly, efficient staff. Thank you to everyone who contributed in any way to making our stay so enjoyable. Collapse

We visited Malta out of season in Nov so this always makes a resort seem quiet and tired but this hotel could be so much better. The plus points are that in the right weather the location is probably great, right on the coast and we had great sea views from a large balcony. The spa area is nice with a nice indoor pool. The outdoor pools looked nice but it was too cold to use them. We didn't eat at the adjoining restaurant so can't comment. There's a tiny bar near reception but we didn't use that either. The room on the 5th floor was huge, like a small apartment. Large lounge area with kitchenette, bathroom and huge bedroom. BUT... It stank... Of pee. The sheets stank, the sofa bed was smelly and uncomfy. We asked for linen for the sofa bed and were given a clean but smelly sheet... That was it. It was cold!!! No duvet or blanket or anything, the customer service wasn't great at all. The tv in the lounge was tiny and there wasn't really anything to watch. But... It was a pretty cheap deal so... However, I Wouldn't stay again!!! Collapse
