At check-in we were greeted by Alan who was pleasant and had a great attitude. The front desk was helpful and kind, asking us about our travels and really made us feel at home. The lobby along with the room & all other areas of the property were well kept and plenty of extras. Should we have a future extended stay in the area, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Beautiful hotel very nice and friendly staff. They changed the valet parking to charging for it. Also have to pay for coffee in your room. This is not like most hotels where it is free. Kinda a money making scheme. Other than that good stay

Stayed at the Staybridge Suites Las Vegas for a long President's holiday weekend, which is the perfect location - close enough to the airport and I-15, but convenient to the strip, not far from Mandalay Bay and Excalibur. If you are looking for a quiet refuge to get away from the 24 hour activity, but remain close enough to join it, this is the place to stay for both business and pleasure. Upon arrival we were immediately and enthusiastically greeted by Alan. He not only checked us in and explained our suite's amenities/views, but took the time to find out the purpose of our visit. He made us feel welcome, not only to the hotel, but also to the area. Alan is very knowledgeable about the area's entertainment, shows and restaurants, which he shared with us as first time visitors after we dropped our luggage off in the suite. It is obvious that Alan enjoys helping guests, likes his co-workers and also included front desk clerk Maria in our discussion. Say hi to Alan when you visit, tell him Mark & Dolly say hi as well! Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet, great for both long and short stays, with a wonderful view of the pool and two hot tubs from the large living room window as well as the patio door in the bedroom. Doors from both the living room and bedroom lead to the balcony, which has a table and chairs to enjoy the view of the area and sunset. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with dishes and cookware - stove, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher and a washer and dryer in a closet. The light touch cleaning was greatly appreciated each day of the weekend, providing fresh towels and bedmaking. The hot breakfast was delicious - eggs, omelets, sausage, French toast, waffles, cheese, yogurt, bagels, muffins, toast, cereal, coffee, milk, juice. The staff throughout the hotel was pleasant and greeted guests in passing, whether morning, noon or evening. Another great perk is the shuttle that leaves on the hour and takes guests to New York New York. Be sure to schedule this ahead of time for drop off and pick up. As IHG Spire Elite members who have traveled all over, we would definitely stay here again when returning to the area. Collapse

I was in Las Vegas once again for a convention. I had made the point of reserving my suite 6 months in advance. I have been to the Staybridge twice already for 1 week each time. I also have 2 trip advisor reports on these past visits. This time around I arrived at 9:00 in the evening and had made 3 other calls to reception to reconfirm my suite for the week. I called a week before to report my late arrival check in and I also called a day before to make sure that my reservation was in force....Well, to my dismay when I arrived at the Staybridge after a long flight of 5.5 hours from Montreal I was notified that they did not have my suite available. (God I hate that after a long day of travelling !) All that was left for me was a handicap studio and another studio room that was terrible. Way off on the end of the building, small, cramp and nothing compared to what I had reserved. I had no other choice but to take the "dink" room for the evening and work on the issue of getting the type of suite I had confirmed way in advance. My scheduled set up of my trade show booth at the convention was put on hold the next morning while I prayed and worked hard with the front desk to finally find me a suite. Luckily, and after hanging around the hotel all morning, in the early afternoon someone checked out I managed to get my suite and got settled in. If I hadn't been on top of all this mess with the front desk I probably would of had to check out and go somewhere else. Please don't get me completely wrong with all of this complaining, as I usually enjoy the Staybridge suites. This is why I am a repeat client have stayed there 2 times in the past for a week each time. I talked to the new manager and still do not understand why my reservation was not held for me as I had paid with my credit card far in advance for the suite and had a confirmation. I am in the resort business and we use a reservation soft ware that advises our front desk of any reservations or requests related to any room that is available or reserved in advance. Once I settled in for the week, and as usual, I enjoyed my stay at Staybridge Suites.. (1) Something is flawed with their reservation system and process. (2) The front desk people are great, I can't blame them. (3) The suites are great but the studio rooms I saw aren't so great. (4) The shuttle guys are great. (5) The location in reference to the Las Vegas strip is great. (6) The free breakfast and 2 meals a week is great also. (7) The suites are fantastic, clean and comfortable. I hope you don't arrive at the Staybridge too late in the afternoon to check in as you may end up checking out....Weird!! Collapse
Great Stay off the strip

Our company doesn't allow us to stay at a casino resort when travelling. I always stay at an IHG Hotel like Staybridge or Holiday inn. The suites are awesome and great for travelling on business. Convenient store and free breakfast are the best.
