Just wanted to write a note and thank the professionalism from Joshua at the front desk. We had several conversations with him throughout our 30 hour trip from South Florida (which should have been 12) to let him know that we were still stuck in Irma evacuation traffic. His kind, sincere and genuine voice re-assured us weary evacuees that our reservation was saved and to get there safely-no problems. It is nice to know that hotels like this Sonesta, hire individuals like Joshua, who make guests like us, feel at ease and reassured during a very long and stressful road trip. Thank you Joshua& thank you Sonesta. Collapse

The apartment has a great lay-out, with the two bedrooms, living room and kitchen area. The sofa bed was very comfortable, my girls used the sofa bed, but I had to sleep on it for a few minutes to get them settled, and I was surprised on how comfy it was. The beds were also comfy, but I have to disclose that we had been driving for 22 hours (evacuating from South Florida due to Hurricane Irma), so I think any soft surface would've been a comfort compared to the car. However we only stayed for one night, but I can see myself coming back to this location for future vacation. Both rooms and living room have their own TVs, and the rooms have their own doors for privacy and bathrooms. We didn't get a chance to use the kitchen, but it was stocked with all the hardware you would need and was very clean and presentable. Only downside, was there are no elevators, and that was a challenge when having to help my elderly mother-in-law up to the third floor. Collapse

Loved this place. Big, spacious, reasonably priced (given that the convention hotels were nearly fully booked and very expensive). Breakfast was simple and satisfying. Internet access worked great and the free version was fast enough for Netflix. It's walking distance from the Sandy Springs MARTA station. I was there for two nights and on day 1, walked to the station with my son (Saturday). There was obviously plenty of parking so Sunday, we drove there. It's very walkable but free parking and convenience won out on day 2 :). I definitely recommend this place if you're planning to be in Atlanta and want a wide spacious place with a beautiful pool that is also very convenient to MARTA stations. Collapse

Suite was large, clean, and quiet; bedroom, kitchen, living. Wireless was reliable. Breakfast was typical. Sometimes ate at hotel, other times ventured out. Happy hour M-W with eats. Two large gas grills available. Sprouts, Central Market, Kroger, library, restaurants, all within walking distance. Staff was friendly and helpful. Weekday bus right in front. A short walk to a 7 day bus and light rail station. Got plenty of exercise and shuttle got us to/from light rail station. Reliable self laundry available. Some issues with guest printer. Water leaking into closet but stay was short enough (Th-M) that it did not present a problem. Best value may be courtesy shuttle (not 24/7). I would definitely consider staying again. Good time had by all. Collapse

Sonesta ES Suites Atlanta has changed the way that I look at extended stay properties. They have set the bar so high that I will only seek their properties throughout the states. I travel frequently but I have never experienced the warm hospitality that I received here. When I hear 'extended stay' it usually means outdated dorm-like rooms with little to no conveniences. The staff is usually not very helpful nor could they care any less about your stay. This was not the case here. Upon entering the lobby, I was greeted with bright walls, elegant wall fixtures and smiling staff ready to tend to my needs. Just walking into the building filled my heart with joy. I was elated with no idea why. The atmosphere exhibits a familiar feel that immediately puts your mind at ease. The clerk at the front desk checked me within minutes. She shared a multitude of information including the times the pool opens and closes. It put my mind at ease that it is a smoke free property. I have allergies and smoke is gross. They have a complimentary breakfast buffet every morning at 6:30 AM. I am not aware of ANY extended stay hotels that offer such an extensive continental breakfast. There were no frozen eggo waffles on this bar. Everything was fresh. I can tell and taste the difference. The toaster station was equipped with a variety of muffins, scones, bagels, english muffins and toast. The grill hosted fresh sausage, eggs and buttermilk biscuits. Lucky Charms, Raisin Bran and cornflakes filled out the cereal bar. Last but not least there were fresh fruits such as bananas, apples and oranges for any takers. The suite was incredible and I did not want to go home! It was officially my new home away from home. I'm not sure what the rooms looked like before but I was in love with what I saw. This newly renovated suite was furnished with every amenity that a traveling professional, like myself, could ever need. With all the devices that I carry, it was refreshing to find multiple outlets in every room. I was able to charge my iPad, iPhone, camera batteries and lighting kits without running out of outlets. Within 5 minutes of taking in my new surroundings, there was a knock at my door. It was Erica, the sales manager. She wanted to greet me with a gift bag of goodies. She was the sweetest and asked if I needed anything additional. This was yet another example of why Sonesta is my favorite luxury brand. They go the extra mile to make you feel special. Not many brands do that these days. It had not one but two large flatscreen televisions. One was in the common area and the other was in the bedroom. Naturally, these premium flat screens were not cheap knockoffs. They were Samsung. Talk about the cream of the crop. The picture and sound were out of this world! The king size bed was both plush and comfortable. It was like sleeping on a cloud in the sky. I fell asleep instantaneously on the feather pillows. I could get used to this lifestyle. We need a Sonesta in every city. I loved the vanity! It reminded me of the vanity my grandmother had. It was absolutely gorgeous. The walk in closet was spacious and could hold a great bit of luggage. Some of the most relaxing fragrances in the shampoo, conditioner and body wash awaited me in the tub. These scents were exactly what I needed as I got started on my day. The bountiful towels made sure that I would not run short. It all starts in the kitchen. I was provided with plates, cups, bowls, cooking utensils and so much more. There is literally nothing missing. Sonesta thought of everything. The full size refrigerator can house all your groceries. I didn't get a chance to use the cook top stove but it was marvelous to admire. Coffee maker, microwave, toaster and dishwasher were all at my disposal. I fell in love with the desk area as I need an ergonomic space to work while on the road. The free wifi was a plus and so easy to connect to. From the moment I opened up the door and walked in, I knew it was going to be a memorable experience. I try to stay on task with exercise so I was thankful to hear about 'The Mat'. This is the fitness room with a bike, elliptical and treadmill. There are no excuses not to get your workout on at some point. The pool was beautiful. The sun hit it just right as I snapped a few shots. The patio area had multiple beach chairs and even had a fire pit. Collapse
