Just returned from a short stay at this hotel. Overall it is a nice property with common areas that are well maintained. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The location is in a quiet area near Palmanova, some 10-15 minutes walk to the main resort area where there are plenty of restaurants (which we used in the evening) We had a standard room with a partial sea view. It was comfortable but very tired and in need of a major refurb. Additionally the walls are so thin we could hear the people in the next room very clearly. When we opened the balcony door we got the aromas from the kitchen extractors 2 floors below. So not the best of experiences with the room generally. Overall if you want a quiet stay in friendly hotel it is okay but maybe avoid the standard rooms. Collapse

Hotel is located in a quiet residential area but within walking distance of busy Palma Nova. A short taxi ride if walking isnt on your agenda. Room was very clean comfortable with comfy beds.TV could do with being larger in this day & age. Food at the hotel was very good. Plenty of choice at the buffet breakfast and evening choice & food was excellent. Plenty of space in the pleasant grounds with live entertainment most evenings. The Spa was very good as was the gym. local bars & restaurants close by or the pleasant seafront of Palma Nova. Great choice hotel would certainly return. Collapse

Stayed at this lovely hotel from September 19th with my husband and son. We had clean ,comfortable unrefurbished rooms with balcony and sea views. Bedding was spotless. \the hotel is in a lovely position in it's own private cove and it was lovely to look out to sea when sunbathing by the lovely,if slightly chilly pool. We found the staff to be friendly, helpful and courteous and it was no problem to have an early breakfast arranged on checkout day. The staff here work really hard and nothing is too much trouble. I will definitely be returning for another holiday. Collapse

I've just returned from a holiday at this hotel, which is peacefully located a short stroll through residential streets to the bay of Palma Nova. Words to describe this hotel: Serene, calm, peaceful, elegant, cool, refreshing. This is not a party hotel or a hotel for large families with screaming children. There's no kids club or brash entertainment here. It's very proud of it's spa, and for good reason as it's an impressive facility. There's a distinct 'Roman' theme to the spa and the hotel in general, with lots of sandstone cladding and marble, elegant collonades linking the buildings, pillars galore and an entrance styled on an Emperor's tent. It should also be very proud of it's restaurant: I would certainly recommend staying half board, as whilst meals are buffet-style, the dessert and salad buffets in particular would put a cruise liner to shame and the choice is plentiful. Steaks are cooked to order in a show-cooking area, there is also pizza, pasta, casseroles, freshly carved meats/fish (though I would say there is a prevalence toward fish dishes rather than meat dishes). The breakfast buffet is also extensive, with cooked and continental items, an abundance of fruit, pancakes with a choice of sauces and even a glass of complimentary Cava for guests to enjoy each morning. The welcome on arrival and helpfulness and professionalism of the reception staff are a credit to the hotel. Staff throughout we found very pleasant with nothing too much trouble. The restaurant maitre'd is a lovely chap. The service could nevertheless be improved a little in the dining rooms, bar terrace and poolside bar/towel servery which all appeared understaffed with staff expected to multitask too much. I don't envy the insanely long hours the dedicated waiting staff work and their cheery demeanor and helpfulness are again a credit to this hotel. I would just say a tightening of procedure with regards to greeting and seating guests and then promptly taking their drinks order would be welcome. I'm pleased to report however that buffet items are regularly replenished with great efficiency by the first-class kitchen team, and hot items are good and hot! The hotel has indoor and outdoor pools, beautiful gardens with palm trees (hence the 'oasis' in the name perhaps?) extending down to a small man-made beach with a pontoon from which you can jump into the sea. There are plenty of sunbeds (no issues with guests reserving sunbeds when I was there), terrace bar with lunchtime menu and poolside bar. Clientele broadly European with some British. The hotel seems particularly popular with German guests, possibly because of it's spa facilities and multiple saunas, and they perhaps appreciate the cold swimming pools - I don't I'm afraid! They need warming up a few degrees! It's like jumping into an ice bucket. The hotel provides comparatively low-key but good entertainment in the evening, mainly consisting of musical 'duos' with songs you can dance to or simply relax and have a drink in the plentiful and well appointed lounge areas. Weather permitting, evening entertainment and drinks service is moved on to the outside terrace, which has a lovely ambience of an evening. Our rooms were in the unrefurbished older wing of the hotel (the hotel consists of two separate buildings joined together only on the ground floor) with a view to the rear with sea view to the side. The rooms were pleasantly furnished with good beds and bedding, good air con, excellent storage and good power shower. Fixtures/fittings (especially the bathtubs) and plasterwork, woodwork and skirtings were showing their age however so refurbishment is definitely due. There was also an unpleasant sweaty or damp odour in the bedroom corridors. Other little niggles: Avoid the sunbeds in the middle of the hotel lawn; the grass is of a strange variety and the ground can be very boggy indeed here - think Glastonbury! It's a bit offputting. Lack of staffing and subsequent queues to collect & return towels. The poolside bar only seems to open when the staff feel like it. Noisy cleaners yacking from 7.30 on a morning (if you're staying at the rear of the hotel that overlooks the kitchen this serves as your alarm call). Provision of only ginseng-infused bath foam rather than shower gel in the bedrooms. Also the hotel owner needs to address problems with his flat roof over the restaurant and main lounge area. During heavy Majorcan rainfall water was pouring in though ceilings and light fittings and even the lift hatch, and that caused added stress for the staff on what was a busy evening for the restaurant team. All in all though, a lovely stay and I would certianly return to and recommend the hotel for a relaxing break in very pleasant surroundings. Collapse

The hotel is in a quiet residencial area away from the bustle of Palma Nova. It is clean friendly and the food is good. However I booked a superior room which I had hoped would be larger than the standard room but in fact seemed smaller. The room had been updated where as the standard had not. This has resulted in the wall of the bathroom being removed and being open to the bedroom. The toilet door and the shower wall and door were all made of opaque glass!! This is ok for couples but not very user friendly for friends. On the positive side we had a room on the 5th floor with a wonderful view of the sunrises and the sea. Collapse
