Arrived Tuesday 18th October around 21:00 at the hotel. Checking in was easy getting our all inclusive bands was also easy. Times all inclusive were given and was straight forward. Got to the room and it was also easy to find and the set out is really nice the way the apartments are set. The apartments are really nice inside and very upto date. Missing is Aircon WHICH is NOT good when you are meant to be on the same equator as the Sahara Desert. The food on the first night was disgusting! do not know if this was due to us arriving late, but it was terrible, not much choice left and was stale and not very edible. The supply of the wines/pop/coffee/tea/beer was pretty much alright to be honest. Amstel on tap self serve was pretty good! The wine wasnt very nice but that wasnt really a problem. The morning after we went for the breakfast served from 7:30 to 10:30 was nice! PLENTY of choice from a full english to cereal to cheeses. pretty much everything. The coffee machine was not great in taste but add more milk and it was fine. Lunch was served from 1/1:30 to 3pm which again was a brilliant selection. before that there is a snack bar which is based by the pool area of the bar. Staff were ok to speak to but we not extremely friendly. Dinner again was great with choice etc. it was very much a pontins/butlins abroad. Not really a couple holiday but as it was my brothers birthday, all family went with different age ranges. The hotel is based 5 mins from the airport but unfortunately is situated in the wrong area, the main area was about a good hours walk at a good pace. cheap taxi's there and back though. the beach was very clean and wasnt dirty. up on departure at 12 noon at the hotel we was given a card to allow us to all inclusive up until lunch finished at 3pm. So with this in mind and us not being able to eat after leaving the hotel at 18:00 to go home. We went to the snack bar before lunch started which was just after 12noon. We selected a cheese tostie and a drink. The staff then came upto us with a scrap piece of paper and asked us to pay. We showed them the card and they all got confused but in the end said we had to pay! after being there for a whole week and them knowing we was all inclusive was abit of a disappointment. when we went to reception again after handing in the keys, we asked him why he said we could use the card the whole day till 3pm when lunches finish. He clarified he advised us that all inclusive finishes at 12pm so we wasn't entitled to the snacks. We argued that he did NOT make this clear so we got them free of charge and so they should have been. Wouldnt return to this hotel or lanzagrotti or any spanish island again. im used to the caribbean and surrounding areas so will stick to the more beautiful, calm, picture post card places. Collapse

A tale of two halves (visited during October half term, starting Tues when the schools broke up on Thurs). Tues-Fri the hotel wasn't too busy, good choice of food at the restaurant. Always able to get a table at the restaurant, the entertainment area or a sun lounger by the pool. No real queue's at the bar, day or night. By Sat the hotel was filling up, it became harder to get a seat in the restaurant (staff working hard to clear up tables), harder to get seats in the entertainment area & harder to get a sun lounger by the pool (didn't manage at all for the top pool on a couple of days). Food variety & choice became more like a canteen due to catering for larger numbers. Queue's for drinks in the day & at night. The staff work very hard & long hours keeping everything running. The room we had was nice, it had been done up (decoration wise), although the bathroom could have done with an update, some smell from the sink due to no trap, toilet kept running. Bed (sofa) in the lounge & additional put-you-up only suitable for young kids (ours were 7 & 9, 7yr old ok for put-you-up but 9yrs old was too big for it). Nice balcony. Kids can use inflatables in the pools. Entertainment overall was good - fire act & body magic act in particular were very good. All inclusive - it's very difficult to keep a track on how many drinks the kids are drinking or what it is they are drinking & if you have fussy eaters, it will be chips every night, very little in the way of plain vegetables, but plenty of salad/fresh fruit is available. No bottled water available to take back to your room at night, have to take a cup from the bar or get yourself some from the supermarket. One issue to note was that all inclusive ends at 12:00 when you check out, you get a voucher for lunch/dinner if you flew into the resort later in the day, BUT you can't get any drinks from the bar, you have to pay. Weather was very good for the 1st half of the week, really hot & clear skies, then started to cloud over & got a bit cooler, although still low 20's, some rain on our last day, but expected at this time of the year. There is noise from the airport which is very close, you see planes all day long, coming & going; I got woken up every morning around 7am by the noise (light sleeper). At in all, we enjoyed our stay, but as a 1st time try of all inclusive, the experience was better during the 1st half of the week & I'm not sure we'll repeat it. Collapse

The positives- big apartment with fridge, kettle, toaster and hob. Friendly happy hard working staff.great food with plenty of selection.lovely gardens and good location. Negatives-no air conditioning and the white wine was not cold. But overall we all had a great time and we are hoping to go again sometime! Collapse

before we arrived saw the awful reviews of the morromar, so was I little worried! we could not find anything wrong with it beautiful big appartments. we had one overlooking the pool and sea was beautiful and decorated nice.had everything you need lots of space.slept really well couldn't hear other guests lots of hot water. The drinks were good and yes in plastic cups but I don't see that a problem! food good lots of choice and a microwave if you wanted it hotter, cant see what people were moaning about . the staff were very friendly and helpful. 5 minutes walk to shops bars and restaurants and beach also taxis very cheap to get anywhere. other half is usually very fussy and he didn't moan once so that can only say one thing its good! we will be back!
