This is an older property, but clearly well run, and well set up for families, and you can't beat the location. The water park was fabulous. My only complaint is that their beach chairs are nearly impossible to get in and out of for anyone with even minor mobility issues. The desk personnel was great, and we got the package with breakfast (which I highly recommend, since it's a voucher you can use at your leisure in their very expensive Perkins and represents a significant discount). We had a minor security issue and they handled it promptly and appropriately. The hotel was very full of families with children, so I might not recommend it for a quiet couples getaway, but our room was reasonably quiet, and for once I didn't think we were the noisiest family in the entire hotel. I'd definitely stay here again, and it's a great place for a family vacation. Collapse
Very unorganized, very disappointed

Booked the Skyline hotel as my daughter had a Dance competition taking place at the Crowne Plaza! Due to the fact that we had 6 people in our group we booked a room that had 3 beds which was perfect for us! The pictures online are deceiving as the room we stayed looked more dated than the modern room featured online. Plus when my friend checked in before I arrived there she said the room had a musty smell. As soon as I walked into the room I could smell what she was referring to. It wasn't a deal breaker as we became immune to the smell after some time in there. The rooms do not have a microwave in the rooms which to me in this day and age is mind boggling! I've never been to a hotel that didn't have a microwave in the room. It's a problem when you're stuck at a hotel for 4 days and 3 nights thinking if I bring food I can just warm it up in our room. Instead there's 1....yes I said just 1 microwave in the whole hotel!! What!! We were stunned! We had to go to the first floor to use it with pretty much everyone else in the hotel...only for it to die once another couple used it for a minute! They replaced it for a short period of time then repaired the other one and brought that back! Just annoying! So to top it off! I booked this over a month and a half ago as I knew my dates for the competition. I booked 3 nights coming in from Thursday after 3 checking out Sunday at 11! Well when my friend checked in she was greeted and given an envelope with your usual keys, some info for wifi and waterpark passes. Once I arrived I too checked in maybe an hour later, gave my license plate number and went off to our room. When we looked at our passes on Friday they were for Friday in which our kids couldn't attend as they had performances all day. I called front desk asking if I can have them exchanged for Saturday. The lady at the front desk said 'of course if you haven't used them then come down to front desk and we will gladly exchange them. So I did that. I handed them in and she said ' come back tomorrow for you to get your Saturday passes.' I asked her if she was sure I left them with her I'll receive Saturday ones...she said 'yes definitely!' I said thank you and went on my way to my room. Saturday arrives our kids perform but all they could think of all day was going to the waterpark! Now I should mention that the lady at front desk mentioned to me that they only offer a max of 4 tickets therefore if we needed 2 more as we were 6, we would have to pay for those two! I understood and was fine with tha we arrive to front desk Saturday afternoon with our kids ready in bathing suits only for other employees at front desk saying that our booking only shows a 2 night stay which not one person mentioned at check in and the passes were accidentally given to us! Oh did I see red! To make a long story shorter the employees didn't have authorization to give us the Saturday passes and called the employee I handed in my passes to. She lied and said she told me that I had to pay for an upgrade for the water passes! I was in shock! Anyway in the meantime our girls are crying because now they're disappointed that they won't be going to the waterpark. I tried telling them to contact the manager who was on site to rectify this error on their behalf. After waiting 45minutes I told front desk how disgusted I was with how they treated guests who were spending $1000 for the weekend! I asked them to have the manager call my room! Luckily for this hotel they have a general manager by the name of Anthony who was apologetic, kind and courteous to our kids and how we were treated! He gave us the 4 passes and gave us a lil extra discount on the room rate! I thanked him as he made our girls extremely happy again to enjoy the little bit of time they had away from their stressful dance competition. All in all I had thought I would come back with my husband son and daughter but after all this I won't be giving my business to this hotel again. Collapse

The hotel was great place to stay. My family enjoyed our time there. The staff are very friendly and courteous. They answered all our questions very easily. They treated us very well and would go back again. The only downfall is parking is first come, first serve. The parking lot is too small for my liking. Otherwise you have to park in the parking garage across the street. So if you have a lot of luggage it can be a bit of a hike depending on where you car is parked. Collapse
