Checked in recently to the Skyline Hotel for an overnight visit with my sister. The hotel itself could use some updating, however we were there long enough to sleep so no complaints there. The room was a standard 2 queen room and room/bed/bathroom was clean. It was nice that we had a window that actually opened! Definitely a kid-friendly hotel. Unlike some comments on here, I didn't find the walls thin etc at all. We didn't use the waterpark so I cannot comment on that. The hotel may be a little further away than some, but whenever we have gone to Niagara Falls, we have walked everywhere anyways, so this was no big deal for us. Would I recommend this hotel to others? It depends. If you are looking for a brand spanking new hotel with all the bells & whistles, then this hotel is not for you. If, however, you are not someone who seems to go to a hotel just to look for faults (ie a stain on the carpet, a window with a cleaning streak on it etc) & is looking for a reasonably priced place to sleep, that is clean, has amenities such as hairdryer, coffee maker etc, lots of towels, then yes, I would recommend Skyline. We had a little car trouble after checking in - my sister backed her tire into a curb & blew it out. A major shout out here to Pedro! I went inside to let the desk know that the car was in the lane & we were on the phone with CAA to come & get the tire changed out. Before the assistant from CAA got on the line, Pedro came out from the hotel & offered to change the tire for us. Pedro, you made what started out as a miserable trip an awesome one! Hopefully you see this & thank you thank you thank you again for your over & above assistance! Collapse

Drove in from Montreal so we where tired on arrival. Arrived earlier than check in and they had a room ready. Room was ok. Just what I expected. Nothing fancy and close to everything. Got the waterpark tickets included in my package which was great. Right across the Street through an enclosed walkway. The kids really enjoyed the waterpark and it was a great way to relax after a long drive. The only negative point at the hotel is that you have to pay for parking but I guess you have to do that everywhere.. Even so you can go in and out as many times as you want. Overall it is a convient place to stay since you will only sleep there and be out all day. Collapse

Our party consist of 7 Adults spread across 4 rooms and we booked this Hotel because I saw a great deal with "book on Tripadvisor" and its location. The factors that I took into considerations was valid as all the adults in the group love this location. We asked to be place in more quiet part of Hotel as our main objective was not the water park but the location of the hotel. 1) We walked about 7-10 mins from the hotel and was at the Top of Clinton Hills area and we had a wonderful meal at Kelsey's Restaurant and viewed the neighboring tourist attractions. 2) It was 3 mins to the Casino Niagara right across the parking lot. After a late night of poker everyone was quick to bed back at the Skyline 3) The rooms was clean and bed was comfortable and all the adults was happy with this selection. 4) It was 10-15 mins walk to the Falls. If you have only adults in the group, best way is to cut thru the Casino Niagara and go down 2 more level down until you reach the Casino Entrance on Falls Ave and you see the Falls in another 5 mins 5) The cafe at Casino Niagara open at 10 am . If you need Starbuck and you are a adult , you can cut thru Casino Niagara and go 2 more level down and as you leave to Falls Ave exit of Casino there is a Starbuck to your Right at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. 6) Only thing was the $20 parking which we was area and you have to ask for the wego bus pass if you need it. We stayed in the hotel and used the skywalk. The Water Park is amazing! Lots of fun for all ages, we loved the wave pool, the bucket, the slides, especially the purple slide where you whirl around and fall through the hole! :) Food was good, a bit pricey, but good. It was very humid inside so sometime we would step outside, to the outdoor pool, even though it was cold outside, the pool was very refreshing! The Park is very safe and very pleasant, the staff was nice and friendly. We loved this Water Park and can't wait to come back! The hotel was very nice, the room was spacious and warm, they would show movies in the lobby in the evening. All in all, we had a great stay! Collapse

Stayed here because I've found a deal with the watepark pass for CAD$70/night. You do get what you pay for. The room was ok, we got the room on the 2nd floor which was nice. It does get a bit noisy at night, specially with children running after the movie night. So, I suggest the 2nd floor rather than the 1st floor. We would stay at Skyline again if there are good deals, but won't if we have to pay the regular price. Collapse
