This hotel is great for families: TGI Friday’s and Rainforest Cafe are in the same building. There is a huge pool area with a fish pond and shark tank. The king room is spacious with a great bed. We had a view of the Canadian side from the 5th floor. It is just an okay view. Walking distance to the Niagara Falls but we heard from locals that the area beyond Third Street is not very safe so better off driving to the falls, which is only <5 minutes. The parking lot is $10 but validated by the hotel so it is free. Collapse

We stayed here for a few days midweek In November. Paid for a falls view upgrade when we arrived, well worth it and would recommend! Much better than the alternative view of the parking lot and travel lodge behind! Breakfast and the view was excellent, well worth paying for. Didn’t have lunch or dinner at the hotel Only downside was no free WiFi in the rooms. Collapse

As I mentioned in this review title; this is a nice property, in a very desirable location. I would have given this hotel 5 stars if it wasn't for the few issues we have had with the staff/hotel policy. First, we booked through a third party booking company and were told that we can upgrade to a better room for a fee, we did but we were told no wifi because it is not part of our deal... but we just upgraded... apparently the upgrade applies to the type of room only! The truth, we don't really need a wifi, our cell phones are equipped with enough data, but what really bothers me is that even-though we upgraded the room we were told you need to pay more, bad costumer relation - even a coffee shop in the lobby offers free wifi. Second, the cleaning staff knocked on our door at 10:03 am even with the "do not disturb" sign still hanging on the outside of the door (checkout time is 12:00 pm). Things like that should not happen in a 4 star hotel... this is very poor staff training and this could even be a deeper costumer relation problem within this hotel that needs to be rectified. I don't want to hear from the hotel manager writing that we purchased a package from another company, staff need to clean, yada yada yada... I came to enjoy my stay and that should be the bottom line. Complaining aside, the location of this hotel is great; you can access the casino without having to exit the building which is great because you don't need to carry your heavy coat. The hotel also has a back door access to Clifton Hill and some of the attractions in the area, great for families with young children. There is also access to the casino parking lot through a system of hallways connected with the neighbouring hotel. The room was spacious, bright and clean, the bed very comfortable with lots of pillows. The room has a fridge and a large desk! Not sure who needs a large desk in a hotel in Niagara Falls :) The room also has an electric fireplace that makes a loud squeaking noise, we kept it off. The view from the room was spectacular; if you are interested in spending time in your room watching the falls and sipping wine then you definitely need to stay at this hotel on one of the higher floors. This is our 8th hotel in Niagara Falls and by far this hotel has the best view of the falls. Will I return to this hotel? The answer is yes, but only if the issues I mentioned above have been addressed and rectified. I will keep on reading future reviews, and if you have visited this hotel recently or planning on visiting soon, please write a review. Collapse

We had a lovely time at Niagara and being at the Sheraton was perfect. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room we had was excellent with lovely views over the falls. The room was clean and very comfortable. The restaurant was also very good with a great selection of food for both breakfast and dinner. The adjoining and surrounding amusement centres and restaurants were interesting and an eclectic mix with the adjoining Hard Rock cafe and Casino. We would recommend the Sheraton on the Falls Collapse

Got married in July at this hotel. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this HOTEL On the eve of my wedding I was locked out of my room 4 TIMES, due to the quality of their maintenance, and each time, it took over 25 minutes to get a service person to come up. Was unable to get centerpieces into my banquet room, as I only had until 9pm, and I missed over an hour of my bachelorette party. The banquet staff tried to sell marijuana to my guest, and my room wasn't serviced on the day of my wedding, so for the night of my wedding we returned to a dirty room, with a bed that wasn't made.It is now November and I have yet to hear response from "Don" the manager. I have forwarded my complaints to Starwood, and multiple people at this hotel. The only offer they gave me was a free upgrade next time I stay, and it expires in less than a year. The soup and salad were horrible, ( and the majority of my wedding was from Newfoundland and are just fine with fried bologna). The chicken was good, thank goodness, or everyone would have starved. If you are spending $10000-$15000 GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Collapse
