What a surprisingly fabulous stay! I say surprising, because we had to suddenly find new flights and a new place to stay after our airline/flight to Tenerife went out of business (Niki airlines). The only flights we could find to take a pet in cabin on such short notice got in two days earlier than our plans with a previously booked Airbnb. We therefore had to find a last-minute hotel on Tenerife willing to take our small dog in the room. After a quick search of 1) available hotels and 2) pet-friendly ones, we narrowed in on the Sheraton – and we’re so very glad we did. This is a truly lovely property! The room is HUGE with a lovely balcony, large bathroom with separate tub/shower, and simply unheard-of closet/storage space. Wow! Also, the property is beautify kept. Our dog demands a very early morning walk, and there were numerous employees up early tending to the grounds: wiping chairs, cleaning the pool, landscaping, etc. It all shows – everything is clean, orderly, and beautiful. Breakfast was delicious and bountiful, and the staff there very helpful. I thought the buffet area was a bit dark and boring for such a great property, but that’s a very, very small complaint. We also decided to get massages at the spa since we were at a resort, and we’re so glad we did. Great space – and great therapists. My massage therapist was professional, competent and kind. As good as anything I’ve gotten in the US or Europe. Also so very affordable. Thank you to the Sheraton for saving my Christmas holiday and accommodating us with our dog. It was a surprise – but a truly lovely one at that. We’ll be back next year – previously planned this time and without our dog so we can better enjoy everything this resort has to offer! Stay here – you won’t be disappointed. Collapse

Just returned from a mini break here and it was great. We had a Premium room with a nice private balcony and sea view. A bottle of bubbly was delivered to our hotel after arrival which was a nice touch and made us feel special !! The room was a good size with big bathroom, separate toilet , shower over bath and also shower cubicle. We ate at the Buffet the first night as we hadn't sussed out anywhere else and were a little disappointed with the service and also the food and also it was expensive at €36. Apart from that the Hotel was fabulous, everything was of a high standard and the sitting areas and grounds were lovely, especially the terrace bar with very comfy basket seats. The staff were really nice and helpful. My friend was taken ill during the night and Francisco on Reception was very understanding and a Doctor was with us in 25 minutes and prescribed the necessary medication. If you turn left when leaving the main entrance of the Hotel. There is a small shopping complex with coffe shops, Supermarket, Pizzeria and nice restaurant called the Jade Stone with nice food at reasonable prices..There is a good walk to the fishing village of La Caleta along the beach but with some steep inclines but the route back along the main road is on the level and shorter. It takes about 25 minutes to Playa del Duque for a good walker. The taxi takes 5 minutes and costs about 3 to 4 Euros. Prices for drinks at the Bar are what you would expect at a Hotel of this caliberand the surroundings are so nice you don't mind paying the prices !! I h ad a gin and tonic for €8:50 which wasn't a bad price and I really enjoyed it and you also get crisps and nuts with you drinks so what's not to like !!! Definitely would recommend this Hotel and would love to go back. Collapse

It was our first time to Tenerife and the Sheraton hotel and it did not disappoint. We had Deluxe Rooms and they were very spacious, with a large bathroom with separate toilet and bidet, large bath, shower cubicle and double sink. Plenty of toiletries which were replenished daily and bath robes. The room had a fridge, coffee machine and small bottles of water were provided free of charge. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and you were spoilt for choice. Eggs and omelettes were cooked on demand and plenty of fizz to go with it if it took your fancy. We spent a good hour plus over a leisurely breakfast and there was no rush to move you on. 2 swimming pools and whilst the large saltwater pool at the bottom was colder we still swam in it. Never a problem to get a sun bed around the pool as they were plentiful. Pool towels are also provided, using a towel card. Spa was good too and we all had lovely massages. We also used the gym in the mornings and this was well-equipped and not overly busy. Plenty of bars around the pool and reception to have a drink. Drinks are relatively expensive, but this is usual for this grade of hotel. I must mention the staff though as this is what made the hotel special. Nothing was too much problem for any of the staff whether it was in the restaurant, one of the bars or on the reception. All were extremely friendly and helpful. It was a lovely break, the weather was unbelievable for early December, and we will definitely return again. Collapse

Two years since we last came. Same highest standards as before. Staff are excellent . Breakfast very good. Nice pool areas. Salt water pools, kept very clean if a little cold. Can’t fault the place. Recommended.

The Sheraton hotel is very easy and comfortable this is our 4th visit and already booked for next year. Super staff always welcoming. The hotel is starting to get tired but to us that is part of its charm. Very comfortable rooms. Perfect location. One of the downsides is the price of drinks not cheap especially when there are local bars serving drinks at a third of the price. But for some winter sunshine it’s perfect Collapse
