Just returned from a week at the hotel, can only speak as I find, disappointing to be honest. We normally stay in the Grande Tacande but as refurbishment work was going on moved to the Sheraton, which cost me £300 more. It is not a patch on the Tacande, no welcome drinks on arrival, all though we saw others receive them, and I guess this is my point about the Sheraton, it lacks consistency in many areas. Some service very good, other was poor. We reported light switch in room not working, fixed immediately, but the ice machine on our floor I reported not working on day one was still not working when we left. Cigarette butts in the plants on the balcony!! The area around the pool is breaking up very badly and the rate the guy is going to repair it I should think it will be like paining the Fourth Bridge !! The Hotel is OK, its is clean, the gardens are very well kept and the food is fine, if you are going you will have a nice time, it is not 5 Star and there is much better available at a similar or lower price, we will not be returning. I think it is relying on its reputation as a Sheraton, my advice look around in Adeje there is much better available. Collapse

A beautiful property with magnificent gardens. Great staff, well trained, and friendly; however, if you don't like buffet food, there are only two dinner choices, one Japanese, the other Spanish. The best restaurant in the hotel is undoubtedly Vivace, which is by the pool, but it's only open for lunch with great fresh fish, salads, and pizzas. Collapse

Me and my family of 6 ( 5 adults and a 3 year old) stayed for a week during Eastern holidays at this lovely hotel. We had 3 rooms together on the 2 floor with a side sea view. Already upon arrival we got welcome drinks and my grand daughter a teddy bear :) The rooms were spacious enough for us and the beds unusually comfortable. A big plus for the heated pool and the play ground . Service was overall good and both the breakfast and the snack bar by the pool was great :) The garden is spacious filled with beautiful trees and flowers Every night we went out for dinner and walked along the seaside - never disappointed - great food :) Another big plus for the "Mojito bar" by the pool in the afternoon - cheers ! We will return - thank you Sheraton staff Collapse

We just got back this last week from a nine night stay. The room was nice but the rest of the hotel bar the reception was more like 3star plus. This hotel is in total need of an upgrade - pool area - concrete surrounding the pool needs redoing is unsafe on your feet. The buffet for breakfast good variety apart from if you want fresh eggs or omlettes be prepared wait 20 mins as only one person on that station. Plus birds actually eating the bread at the buffet! the buffet in the evening is very poor - the first night we arrived everything that should have been hot was stone cold! You can eat at the other restaurants if you on half board you get 32euros per adult to use. Japanese wasnt bad but teppanyaki is supposed to be show cooking - none of that here! Drinks and lunch menu overpiced for the service you got. All in all a very disapointed customer and will not be returning! Collapse

The Sheraton exceeded my high expectations. The gardens were very tropical and lush and a lot of space for relatively few guests. The rooms was large and very comfortable ;the bathroom spacious and very beautiful. Best of all there was no noise in my room and the pool-area was also very peaceful. As I wanted to see the North Coast of Tenerife by public transport I was away every other day .As interesting La Laguna,Puerto de la Cruz,Garachico and Santa Cruz were it sometimes seemed a waste to leave the luxury behind for a crowded city bus. As nice as the hotel was;the resort of Costa Adeje-Las Americas seemed way to large and very artificial to me;La Laguna is a far more interesting town. However the weather was perfect on the south coast;the week in december 2016 saw sunny weather and 24-28degrees every day, minimum 17degrees,hence the tropical gardens. As expected Food and beverage prices are high in the hotel but a supermarket is near the bus-stop.Breakfast was very good offering smoked salmon,Jamon Serano, fresh orange juice, melon and fresh pine-apple.
