The hotel Best Western Shap Wells is in a very peaceful location. The room as OK but there was a lot of flies which was very annoying. The evening meal was good but the three coach loads of people meant long waits at breakfast. See more

This was one of the most memorable breaks we have ever had we arrived on the wife's birthday and had our dinner in the hotel the choice of food was excellent and the staff were second to none. We then we had a few drinks after our meal. We were allocated a lovely room on the ground floor which was very nice as the wife is disabled from a stroke. The second day we got up and had a wonderful breakfast and went out touring for the day. The weather was drizzle but it did not affect our lovely stay. We had a bar meal that night and a few drinks, the next morning we got up had another great breakfast and left for home we shall be returning there in the near future. I can not think of anything else they could have done to make it a better experience - many kind regards Mick & Dot Wharton 60 plus. Collapse
