Came here in January 2017 after booking with Thomas Cook, we had to use a taxi from airport to hotel and it cost us 35 euros, and a similar amount to return for the flight home. On arrival from the UK we were told our room wasn't ready due to their late check out policy. After waiting a couple of hours we were given our room on the fourth floor and to be honest it was very nice and comfortable with adjustable beds. The hotel was quiet but as it's out of season we expected that. We were on a bed and breakfast tariff and they do a good job of it, with a huge choice of both continental and cooked which is made to order. We were very near Barcelona nou camp stadium so we did the tour, brilliant. As it was my wife's birthday we came back to the room to find champagne on ice and glasses and of course a birthday card, so a lovely touch by the hotel. Overall not a bad stay, the reception and bar area are very cold so if having a drink wrap up for the occasion. Would we stay again, probably not as there were some better located hotels in lad ramblas. Collapse

I understand most of the people choose to stay in this hotel only because its comes with an offer as cheapest 4 star hotel with flight...but trust me not worth it. First look of the hotel seems quite ok, the reception area is quite clean and modern but this is where the good features end. Proximity to the Collblanc metro station may also be considered as another positive but really, this is it. I might use up rest of the space just to highlight what should fellow travellers must know or atleast consider before making a reservation. We arrived late in the evening and the receptionist was quite polite but soon as he looked at our voucher (we got flight hotel combo deal from Lastminute) he said 'oh okay through voucher so you get one of the standard rooms'...Standard rooms! yeah fine, didnt bother us much, given we were there for just 5 nights. But trust me, soon as we entered the room we knew our lovely Christmas break is spoilt...very dated room, lamps not working, TV doesnt get any signal whatsoever, probably a 2 star hotel creased linen and worst of all windows open to just another ugly wall! Walls so not sound proof that you can easily hear next door east Asian young guests. No offence to them as they were also on a holiday and were having fun with friends but it was so disturbing due to no soundproofing! Somehow we spent the night in peace and next day morning went straight to the breakfast room...shocking Euro 14 per person for breakfast! we did have the breakfast but it wasn't really worth what we had paid. We left straight for sightseeing, but troubles with this hotel didnt end. We were back for around 8ish and went straight to the room to change before heading to the restaurant for the dinner...room seems to have been serviced but we could still see the dirt we brought with our suitcases (probably stuck to the tyres while we were walking from metro station to the hotel) the previous night still lying around on the floor. Service was so poor that bed linen were creased for the duration of our stay and our room not properly hoovered! Restaurant was another disaster...very few dishes on the menu and i (off excitement) ordered the seafood tagliatelle (or linguine dont remember exactly which one from the menu)...it took more than 40mins to turn up and when it did, trust me i wasnt a happy girl. Exactly 4 SMALLEST shrimp on top of the pasta!!! 4 shrimp...really?? for around Euro 9!!! On top of it when i complained to the attendant, he mentioned that they do not have a kitchen here in the hotel where they cook...it is brought from outside and they unfortunately dont have any control over whats cooked and given back! I really couldnt believe all this and almost wanted to leave this place, but then didnt want to spoil my holiday break due to this so stayed till the bill turned up and to my dismay they did charge me the full price and didnt bother making any concession for their service. We decided not to go back to the restaurant ever during the trip and make our dinner arrangements outside the hotel. Cleanliness - 0 Service - 0 Facilities - 2 (just for the Spa) Restaurant food - 0 Breakfast - 3 (just not worth the price!) Hotel staff - 4 (Nice and polite staff plus helpful) In short, should no way be a 4 star hotel! Collapse

We went for 2 nights 19th to 21st DEC. We arrived around noon, and our room was ready for us.We we're made very welcome by the girl on reception and she was very helpful when we needed to ask anything. The room was very nice, On the day of my birthday 20th a knock on our door revealed a member of staff with a bottle of champagne on ice, complements of the hotel, a nice touch I thought !!! Only slight drawback was at the time of our stay they didn't appear to have a chef working on evenings, so the bar menu was limited to sandwiches and pizzas etc. However there are some nice places to eat nearby if you look for them. If you want to eat a class meal I recommend El Raco Del Cargol a Catalonian restaurant, about 5 minutes by taxi from hotel, ate there for my birthday, it was superb !!! Would recommend the hotel, great breakfast. Collapse

We purchased flights and accommodation on an offer site so this was a really cheap getaway. The hotel is large and airy but quite dated. The room was of a decent size and comfortable for our two night stay. It is located quite close to Collblanc metro and Barcelona Nou Camp. We used the spa briefly; it's a nice idea and hidden away which adds to the mystery of it. However an update or a refresh would be beneficial. Although it was clean. Collapse

We traveled there 21.12 and stayed there for 4 nights. After reading many reviews, we had little expectations. Some said the hotel wss old and tired and staff like that. Well, me and my wife we went there for family break. Took train from airport Ls9 to collblanc n 5-8min walk to the hotel in a cool place. The main entrence is refreshing, reception staffs were good (paid tax around 10€). Into the room and it was Woow, flat screen Tv safe nice beds and classic bath. We had free entrence to the spa every day from 10-12 (with alot to offer-there is a guy there who does his job passionately) i think spa with turkish bath and sauna and the semi-quiet area is what makes this hotel exceptional. Camp nau is just round the corner and we were there just hours after we arrived barcelona vs hercules 7-0. As to the transportation, we bought Hola barcelona 5 days for €32 and we never took taxi. Buy that and you will safe tons. Note, this card cant be used after 23:00. My wife appreciates our stay there and we give a rate of 4.9 out 5. I wrote all this so you won't be surprised after some negative feedbacks, some people are hard to convince. Collapse
