This hotel has to be the worst hotel I’ve ever visited the staff are so rude and unfriendly. The food was raw on several occasions I told the staff that the meat was raw they never recalled anything just added a new Tray. I reported flys on the food in the restaurant. And the workers walking around with trolleys of slops right near you as your eating. At times asking you to move. There were mice running around near the pool eating the scraps of food that were there. A worker threw an ice cream at my son when he asked with manners for one. A worker sneezed all over the pool side snack bar coffee machine then just wiped it with his sleeve. My bed was dirty like someone’s feet were on the sheets and it smelled so bad of urine. Our bathroom was dirty especially with hair on the tiles. Floors were mopped and left with no wet floor signs I nearly fell. And when I reported it I was laughed at. We ate out nearly everyday after paying all inclusive. If you want a nice holiday please do not book hotel santa susanna resort. I know you get what you pay for but common courtesy And cleanliness should be standard and not being served a glass with lipstick still on it. I had to stop my son from eating a mouldy cob in the restaurant it’s just awful and our whole holiday was ruined by the shoddiness and the non caring nature of the unprofessional staff this hotel is run by a rude little man who wears a dirty suit 10 sizes to big for him and rude bad mannered staff this hotel should have a zero star rating it’s the absolute pits. This holiday was for my two Grandchildren 8 and 12 my husband and myself. as it was in the school half term we expected it to be busy and it was children out of control and some parents drunk by lunch time (no fault of the hotel). The hotel was clean but tired food was ok same thing for breakfast every day, lunch and dinner did have a choice and there was salad ect, pleased to say fruit at every meal and the ever present rice pudding for desert ( my granddaughter was happy with this)the dinning room was very small and the tables more suited to sitting two than four and the waiters were banging plates and pushing full trolleys with children running around this did not make for a pleasant meal. Please don't go in October as the water in the pool was freezing the sea was warmer, pool was small for the amount of guests. Collapse
Shameless Brits are a total embarrassment.

We stayed here the first ten days in October. There is little wrong with the resort (apart from the entertainment and my mattress), it is well managed, clean and generous in its offerings, we were delighted when they provided us with a packed lunch for a day out! The food and drinks are excellent, there is always something to eat and drink from 7.45am-11pm. How anyone has the cheek to moan about that side of things I will never know. There’s also a free tram that takes you to the town/beach every 20 minutes or so, although it is only a ten minute walk if one doesn’t appear when you need it. Our room was adequate but my bed was unacceptably poor, my hips actually bruised from the broken springs sticking up through what was once, I imagine, a mattress. The only way I could sleep was on top of four folded blankets I found in the wardrobe...well, when I say ‘sleep’ I refer to the times in between getting woken up by next door yelling to each other and others along the corridor gone 11.30pm, kids running up and down screaming and shouting all night, upstairs moving furniture around at 2am and the frequent slamming of the fire door...every single night. Also be aware that the entertainment consists of very loud, very bad music/karaoke blaring out nightly until 11pm and there’s no escape from hearing it, even from your bed. Yes it was a budget holiday and it would still have been a bargain had it not have been for the 600+ northerners that we shared it with. Imagine almost everyone who’s ever appeared on Jeremy Kyle, stick them in a resort, supply them with alcohol, on tap, from 10am and that is what we were surrounded with (my husband has asked me to point out that this only refers to 95% of the clientele in the interest of fairness) The kids are left to do what they want (get sun burnt by day, run around screaming and shouting, threatening to stab each other, smash glass, order food and drinks then just leave it lying around, be rude to the staff (who work tirelessly) and trash the place with litter, whilst the parents get legless. We saw it all, I guess it’s normal to these families and if it’s normal to you, you’ll be fine! If not, you might want to stay elsewhere. I’m really sorry to have to leave this review, it seems really unfair on the staff and the resort but I have to speak as I find. We went with an open mind and we are masters of making the most out of any situation but this was beyond belief, I laid awake one night googling different places to stay but couldn’t afford to escape! Never been so grateful to be flying home. I will miss two things...the lovely food and the weather. Collapse

was a bit weary after reading reviews, but pleasantly surprised. Staff on reception couldn't be more helpful upon arrival and during all our stay. Let lucky with room as got a pool view with balcony, there were lots of ground floor rooms with no balconies and no view. Restaurant- the tables are tables for 2 with 4 chairs squeezed around them meaning we had to get 2 tables for 4 people for a bit of comfort. Food was quite good, plenty choice for everyone including fresh bread rolls. Snack bar great but you can only get 2 snacks at a time, so if you're getting something for your kids they'd have to come with you as they can get 1 item too with their wristband. Drinks at the bar are terrible but what do you expect for such a cheap price. Kids loved the kids cocktails and I just stuck to pepsi which was real pepsi so was nice. Train to town is brilliant. Nothing in area for nights but luckily the hotels entertainment was spot on with discos, karaoke, parrot shows and reptile shows. Big supermarket across road selling everything you need and a little park nearby for kids. It is very noisy at nights through corridors as you can here people going back to their rooms which goes on until about 2am and then woke up early by people wheeling their suitcases ready for their departure. Our room was pretty big compared to others in our party, lovely shower and beds comfy. Maids come in every day. We had 3 beds in our room for just 2 of us which was a bonus.Pool area great for kids but have to be carful because theres decking around the pool which is slippy and someone actually broke their ankle when we were there. Would come here again but only for a short break as its hardly luxury but only on the basis I have a room with a pool view. Collapse
