Have just returned today from a 7 night stay at this hotel and couldn't leave quick enough. This hotel is classed as 3* but is more like a youth hostel or camp site club house. My husband said he felt like he was on the set of Jeremy Kyle whilst staying here!! We were in room 338 which, unfortunately, is right next door to the cleaner's cupboard and the first room through the doors from the amusement arcade. Our headboards also backed on to the entertainment area so we were guaranteed noise from first thing in the morning until gone midnight when our light fittings finally stopped vibrating from the noise levels which were extreme. Children, supervised as well as unsupervised, were constantly running up and down the corridors shouting and screaming and the staff made no attempt to stop them in the accommodation area. However, saying this, the adults were equally as loud and seemed to have no respect for other residents no matter what time of night it was. The walls were so thin that you could hear people snoring in other nearby rooms. The noise levels continued at a lower level throughout the night making it very difficult to get a decent nights sleep. Food was adequate, however, was not presented to a pleasant standard. The dining room was in the cellar with no natural light and again, very noisy and echoy and resembled a school canteen rather than a hotel restaurant. Not a relaxed dining experience by any stretch of the imagination, so much so, we ended up eating out to avoid the experience. The hotel is situated on a dual carriageway slightly out of resort but is served by a very good mini train service into the centre. There are no hairdryers in the bathroom and no service offered to rent at hotel, therefore, bought a cheap one from the Carrefour supermarket next door. Overall the staff were pleasant but did not seem very happy or enthusiastic in their roles, with the exception of the very nice and knowledgeable older gentleman on reception who was very helpful in providing local information. In summary, you would have to pay me to stay here again. If you are happy to stay in drinking all day whilst your kids are running wild annoying other people to give you the peaceful holiday you wish for then this is definitely the place for you. Collapse
Shocking worse holiday ever.

We're do I start... we here at the moment. It's shocking we was 1st put in budget rooms directly under the bar area they had on booking we had young children. Asked to be moved was told could only move one room. I ended up ringing on the beach the 1st night at 12.30 am to move hotels to be told would cost me another £600. Then we still had to speak to the hotel for 2nd time to be moved. Still had to pay 60 euros on top as was told one owns a budget room. Moved rooms to be put on another ground floor near fire escape and lifts so the noise is just as bad. We get 2 hours sleep at most. Kids running round screaming slamming doors till gone midnight people shouting and banging when arriving in the the middle of the night. The delivery's goes psst our room at 4 am then maids banging at 6 am out side our room. What a total waste of money. I would never even if it was free come back to this hotel again.we all poorly and biten and very tired it's truly shocking .. mix between shameless and benidorm. My little boy of 7 is covered in bites. The pools freezing over crowed on a warm day towels on sun beds from 6 am. Staff are rude. We are all inclusive can't get free drinks till 10am. Then only till 11 pm . Im shocked we read mixed reviews when we was booking but thought a holiday Is what you make it. What a big mistake and a waste of money . If noise poor food rude staff is what people call a holiday then feel free to book this hotel. If not please stay away we are a young family with 2 children 7 and 9 we are so shocked the lack of care other fail give to as to what there own children are doing . Collapse

The hotel is in a great location, They run a little train to the beach which is free but it is only a 15 min walk. We found the food was plentiful and a good variety. I really do not know why people moan but then again they were probably the people queuing up for burger and chips (junk food.) The room was cleaned every day and clean towels every day. The only moan I have is the noise at night with kids running in the corridor and playing on the fire escape. There are signs up to say no running in the corridors but I blame the parents that are drinking in the bar and letting their kids run wild. Probably the same the parents that shout and slam the doors to the rooms. Collapse

This hotel is like the tv show shameless if they was on holiday! The place is horrible very dated and very dirty The rooms are very small the beds are filthy and covers have cigarette burns Bedding didn't get changed in the whole 2 weeks stay just made nor was the bathroom cleaned just towels changed and toiled roll topped up. There is no air con and you can't keep the doors open for the mosquitos with there not being no nets at the doors You wouldn't want the door open as the noise from the extremely loud music or the fighting and brawling that happened most nights. You don't get anything that's is advertised there is nothing to do for children unless you want to pay for them to play in an arcade The park is open for 1 hour a day and the pools are freezing cold The kids entertainment on a night if that's what you can call it is a few songs that last no more than 15 minutes then a few 90s cheesy pop songs streamed off YouTube A quiz or bingo for 5 minutes then they all sit on the floor and watch a film and that's it The food is fine for people that have no taste buds! It is discussing good that there is a super market next door because you will need it It's like eating in a dirty cafeteria if you can get a table that is oh and take plenty of Imodium you will need it Entertainment on a night is little to none just loud music till mid night in a room very much like a church but you can always make your own and watch the nightly fights arguments kids jumping from room to room on the balcony oh and running wild trough the hall ways till the early hours I could go on forever The hotel is dreadful the people are dreadful the staff are horrible the town is dirty and I will never be going back If you do go make sure to take plenty of money Collapse

We have returned today from a week staying at this hotel. I have to say, I had no idea what to expect because of how diverse the reviews are....ranging from brilliant to the holiday from hell. Well, here are my thoughts... The Hotel: When we first arrived, I liked the look of the hotel. It does have character and is not your usual floor to ceiling marble hotel like most of the others in the area. The main bar area is ok but the seating is uncomfortable and does get busy, especially when Karaoke is on. The pool area is fine and we didn't struggle getting a good space for our sunbeds (we did go in October so it might not be like that in peak season). We only went down in to the 'discotheque' once for the shortest quiz I have every been involved with and it was ok, albeit a bit dark and dingy. The main restaurant was fine and was kept clean. There is an area for amusements and as you would expect became a magnet for the teenagers to gather. Room: The rooms are very small when all 4 beds are occupied. I have read some horror stories on here about black water and insects - I have to say, we had no such trouble. The room was clean and everything worked as it should. Food: Again, I have read some real horror stories on here. I didn't have any problems with the food. It is fair to say it was slightly repetitive but this is a 3* all inclusive. I fully expect that are going to do chicken, beef and pork in as many different ways as they can. My daughter did struggle on occasion but she is fussy, I found something perfectly acceptable at each meal time. The pool bar snacks are good although the banter from the guy cooking them who thought he was a stand up comedian got a bit tedious after a while. Staff: Again, no problems from me here really. Some staff didn't seem to speak english very well which meant that they grunted or pointed a little when collecting glasses but I put that down to the communication barrier rather than them being rude. The only exception to this was the one cleaner who was going absolutely nuts when people walked on her nicely mopped floor. I asked reception some general questions and each time they were polite and helpful. The animation team were a little anonymous, in fact I didn't know they existed until day 5 of 7 on our holiday. Location: The free land train to the centre and train station was a god send - we used it loads. Also, the good local train service made it easy to visit local resorts. We went to Barcelona for the day which is highly recomended. The massive Supermarket next door came in handy and the resort of Santa Susana is nice enough to walk around. Lot of markets to visit as well. Entertainment: This is where things start to go a bit pear shaped. The singers were bang average and it seemed that everyone had the same few songs to sing (Sweet Caroline, The Way to Amarillo, Simply the Best to name but a few). We saw an act where Parrots rode bikes (yes, seriously) and Karaoke was ok but it tended to be same people singing over and over again. We did decide to participate in the 'quiz' which ended after 10 questions and about 15 minutes. My advice, if hotel entertainment is important to you, this hotel might not be for you. Other Guests: This is where I do agree with some of the horror stories on here. I know that it is tempting to make the most of the All Inclusive but my god did people over indulge. People were hammering the shorts from 10 am when the bar opened and you can imagine the state of them by 11pm. I am not sure you can blame the hotel for this although it is something to bear in mind before staying here. I personally, didn't have any issues but can see how people who find this intimidating. This hotel did also have it's share of unruly children (generally whose parents were smashing the vodkas in from 10 am). They were running and playing on the stairs and there was a group who were a particular pain Summary: Nice enough well positioned hotel (albeit slightly dated) that in my opinion was kept clean enough. The food was perfectly acceptable although you might struggle if you are particular picky. The staff were ok and worked very hard. The rooms are very small but we coped for a week without too much hassle. The entertainment is terrible, so terrible in fact that in the ended up enjoying it for all the wrong reasons. The other guests can be rowdy and absolutely make the most of the unlimited drinks and it wouldn't surprise me if there were some incidents over the season because of this - this didn't happen when we were there. All this said, we had a good holiday and absolutely got value for money. Collapse
