I have been staying at this hotel every October for several years now- and each time I visit, I'm consistently satisfied and impressed with the staff. From the front desk to the housekeepers, they truly know how to treat a guest. Every employee interaction began with 'good morning' or 'good evening' and a warm smile. There was nothing fake about them- they were genuinely interested in making certain that their guests were treated like we were staying in their home. The housekeeping staff was (and always has been) phenomenal. The price is very fair and the rooms are exceptionally clean. We had to switch rooms upon arrival, but our requests were accommodated quickly and without any issue or hesitation. The only downside to the stay was the restaurant, Moxies. The service was inconsistent and the prices were on the steeper side. We joked that the hotel is so inexpensive because they know that guests will pay at least the room rate for each meal (excluding breakfast- but that was still pricey- $40 for 2 meals with coffee and juice). The food was decent most of the time, but certainly not worthy of Ruth Chris or The Keg prices. Cocktails were definitely more expensive than most places and some nights they were quick, other nights not so much. Bottom line: Moxies was lacking value and consistency. I think the hotel staff should train the restaurant staff to match their level of service- then there wouldn't be an issue. Overall, another happy and well rested stay- we'll be back next year! Two thumbs up for the staff at the Sandman Signature Toronto Airport- you guys surely know how to keep your guests satisfied and impressed! Collapse

I was here for a business course and stayed 5 nights. This venue far surpassed my expectations especially with regard to our conference room, meals and amenities. Handily located near Terminal 3, a 5-7 minute free shuttle ride and you are at the hotel. Lovely large reception area, spacious and plenty of seating. Another cafe style area off to the side of reception where it appeared people could sit and have a coffee, work on their computer. A Starbucks kiosk near the entrance. Plenty of parking. The room was very clean and well appointed, comfortable beds. bar fridge, sofa and chair, coffee and supplies. Bathroom was nicely laid out, immaculate and featured a full size tub. Plenty of spare towels available. Some fellow attendees opted for rooms with kitchenettes, all were lovely and comfortable. There is some ambient air traffic, but lets be honest, this is a hotel very near the airport. I enjoyed sipping coffee and taking in the view from the 6th floor, watching the sunrise and the planes queue up and come in for landings. The noise dropped right off during anticipated sleeping hours and I never once woke up due to the rumble of a jet. I found the neighboring air traffic a non-issue. The rooms are quiet, I never heard anything from a neighboring room my entire stay. I anticipated the staff would be rushed and aloof. I could not have been more wrong, while certainly efficient, they were also very friendly and accommodating. They made a lengthy stay there worthwhile. Everyone from housekeeping, front desk to servers were wonderful, some of the nicest staff I have ever encountered anywhere. A delightful surprise in a city as large as Toronto. *We were there for a business course that included breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon coffee break snacks. The food was EXCEPTIONAL ...I highly recommend conferences at this hotel. Course attendees and myself were amazed at the selection of delicious healthful and very tasty food presented in our conference room daily. I am afraid we all probably got a little spoiled there! There is a Moxies "test" kitchen at the hotel that caters these events- my compliments to the chef and staff... truly exceptional, plentiful, always hot, and attentive friendly servers. The Moxies restaurant in the hotel is open till very late, 2 a.m. I believe, so there were a few evenings where we went downstairs for a nibble and a nip! A separate review on them, but an excellent venue. I would and will be staying there again and certainly recommend them for a convenient, clean comfortable conference! Fitness facility and a pool there as well as other amenities. Well worth it! Collapse

I've stayed here multiple times and it's always been great. I usually get the upgraded room which is like a mini-condo suite with a kitchen, seating area and bedroom. Moxies bar/grille on the ground floor is convenient. Airplanes taking off to the east can be very noisy in the morning though, can;t see them but you sure can hear them. Par for the area though.
