We found this place by accident!! Our original booking to another hotel was cancelled and we were offered this as an alternative- and by god we scored!! We arrived Sunday 16th October at 1100am and we're delighted to be told our rooms were ready. The reception lady was very pleasant and took time to explain lots to us. Our rooms, 2 twin rooms, were really nice and clean, spacious and open. We had rooms overlooking the sea (225 and 227) and had great views of the sea with the benefit of afternoon sun on the balcony! I've seen reviews suggesting a pool view - I disagree. The rooms were cleaned daily and the staff were always delightful. We had fresh towels daily. For October, the weather was around high 20's and lovely. However, the hotel and local area were DESERTED!!!! The folk who were there were elderly and didn't really see them much. The result being the restaurant and bar were quiet. The food was of a really good standard with decent selection even for the kids. The staff worked hard and were quick to clean tables etc. The bar and staff were great!! Biel created a great atmosphere and was brilliant with my two kids (15 and 13). They got a lollipop every night and he always had them laughing. The highlight for us has to be the bingo night he ran - we had a real laugh. Biel, we all thank you for your time and attention. We used the pool area a few times although the water was freezing!!!! Again, we had the place to ourselves!!! The tennis court was great although you shouldn't have to pay to use it. Likewise the gym and spa - why do you need to pay for this?!! It should be included. These were the only downsides for us. Overall, this is a great hotel with caring and attentative staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and would gladly return. There is a cracking beach 100m away and we walked into Cittadelia the local town twice. It takes around an hour but it's a nice walk and a lovely town. We hired pedal bikes from the local supermarket as the hotel didn't have any. Went fir a lovely cycle south to the lighthouse and for lunch - I'd recommend this. A very quiet, enjoyable and relaxing holiday. Well done the staff at the hotel - id return here without issue. And please pass on our thanks from Scotland to Biel - photo attached...... ;/)) Collapse

Just got back recently from a really relaxing week at the Sagitario. Very clean and looked like it has undergone a recent update which has given it a fresh modern look. The front of house staff were all very friendly and most helpful both whilst checking in and when I wanted a car rental. The restaurant staff were just as friendly and welcoming which along with a really nice buffet selection each day both breakfast and dinner made the dining experience really enjoyable. Our room was spotless and maintained by lovely cleaning staff. The pool was great and not too busy! So always able to get a swim and a relax on the loungers which again looked new this season. Conveniently situated for the amenities in Cala Blanca and only a short distance from both the beautiful city of Cuitadella and the vibrant marina at Cala n Bosch, I would really highly recommend this hotel spa as a great place to stay and enjoy this magical island. Unfortunately we did not get a chance to sample the spa facility but if the rest of the complex is anything to go by then I am sure that it would be great value. Collapse

The last time we were in Menorca was about 20 years ago when the children were small. This time its just us! Very impressed with the Hotel. We had room 118, which overlooked the road but we did not get any vehicle noise. Spacious room, clean and comfortable. Beware the thin walls - we had an amorous couple in the next room! Buffet breakfast with something to suit everyone's taste. Very nice pool area, although I hope they do some repair work - many tiles missing from the pool floor, but kept clean. Pool bar offered a good range of reasonably priced food and the bar staff were great.Evening entertainment was a bit mixed in quality - best night was the Il Divo tribute act who were very good. We found Cala Blanca rather quiet and personally, I was disappointed with the quality of restaurants. The 2 best ones were either side of the local beach, were we had excellent meals. Lovely beach, ideal for small children. Do try walking some of the coastal path which goes all round the island, fantastic views, but I don't recommend it in flip-flops! Cuitadella is easily reached by a short bus ride. We also hired a car (3 days for the price of 2 from Miramar car hire near to Hotel). Do go to Fornells, Cala Morell (and prehistoric caves), Cala Galdana, Cala Macarella. All places are within easy reach by car - it is a small island after all! Collapse

Our first visit to Menorca and we certainly picked the right hotel. The staff are very friendly and the hotel was very clean. The food was great with plenty of choice at breakfast and dinner. We had room 136 which had a walk-in shower and fresh towels every day. The balcony was shaded with trees and had a view of the pool. From the hotel turn left and along the road is a bay with a small beach and bars, the Moonlight is particularly nice. The other direction is the rocky coast with supermarkets, Tony's bar and The Blarney Stone where you can enjoy the sea views. Cuintadella is a short bus or taxi ride away, the taxi was about 7 Euros and the town is well worth a visit. We had a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday. Collapse

We stayed at the Sagitario in June this year to coincide with the 3 day festival of St Joan in Citaduella which is a must do event with the highlights being Horse jousting in the harbour. This is our 4th visit to this hotel and we have never been disappointed, the food is always good the service is spot on, cleaners every day and a great pool, Staff are the same people and thanks to Biel and Juan for their entertainments, Wheel of fortune is so funny. I would recommend this to couples who enjoy like ballroom dancing. Collapse
