This is a lovely rustic hotel to stay in. The room was simple and clean with a very comfortable bed. Had a full bath with shower over, which was of a good pressure. Also bidet, hairdryer and electric point in bathroom. Couple of chairs and table on outside balcony, which was of a good size to sit out on. It doesn't matter where you stay, as all rooms have the same view of sea, swimming pool and mountains. Hotel car park and reception accessed via a steep drive, but if walking you can access via a few steps and slope to the lower ground floor. Top floor reception, lounge, bar, dining area with views the same as room. You can sit and eat/drink outside. The rooms were cleaned every day and were spotless. The breakfast was continental and self service - this varied slightly every day. The swimming pool is of a good size with a few sunbeds scattered around. The hotel is situated half way between Nerja and Frigiliana just off main road and the bus stop is right outside - only 1 euro anywhere between Nerja to Frigiliana and comes approx every hour between 7 am and 9 pm, otherwise you can use a taxi. We walked downhill to Nerja a couple of times but there is no footpath outside hotel until after you cross two roundabouts. We went out every day but on the last evening stayed in whilst waiting for our taxi transfer. I am so glad we tried this restaurant, the food was of a very top quality and extremely good value for money - much cheaper than eating out in restaurants. Free wifi in hotel too. Collapse

At first we were disappointed because we booked a double bed, but we got a twin. It was probably mixed up by our agent and the hotel was fully booked. However the lady at the reception didn't forget and the next day called us to say a double bed was available. The rooms are cleaned thoroughly every day, the breakfast was really nice and the staff was always helpful, polite and hospitable! Felt like home :) (if you are reading, thanks for the super early breakfast, and the mangos) Collapse

We stayed here one night and could not fault our welcome, room, food or pool. The room, with balcony, was good with free Wifi and a fit for purpose bathroom. The evening meal was excellent and breakfast all you needed to start the day - and included in the room price. The pool area was beautiful and a great wind down space after a day on the road. Pool was big enough to get in a decent swim. Collapse

Myself and two friends (aged 26,27 & 30) stayed here this September for 5 days. The hotel itself is situated between the main town of Frigilana and Nerja on an idyllic hillside overlooking the surrounding landscape and sea. The hotel and the views are stunning. The hotel is rural themed and the interior design is stunning - even inside the rooms the fixtures and furnishings are very nice and well thought out. The hotel is very clean and the staff all very friendly and helpful. We were primarily here to drink, eat and have fun, and as young guys we expected to be treated as typical British holiday goers, however the staff were lovely and helpful and non-judgemental. There is a bus stop directly outside the hotel to take you to the more lively and beautiful seaside town of Nerja - just €1! The breakfast is traditional Spanish fare with cold meats, cheese, breads, compotes, meat pates, cereals, croissants, juices, teas coffees, omelette and fresh tomatoes and fruit. Basic but very nice and a decent selection. The hotel restaurant menu also looks extensive and delicious. The restaurant and terrace environment is very pleasant and well air conditioned. All rooms also have air con which was a blessing as it's very hot every day. I just cannot fault this hotel, we even arrived back at 2am one night and the night porter allowed us use of the lounge area to watch the sports on the big screen while we drank the very well priced beer and played cards - and was very friendly and polite. We will be coming back in October, and probably to this very same hotel. Beautiful location, hotel, staff and service! Collapse

Stayed here for one week. We had to ask for : chairs in our room, 2nd pillows which were provided the following day. The bed linen was awful : pillows were lumpy, sheets did not fii the bed (too small) and were so old and thin you could see through them . The wifi in the room was impossible unless we went to the hallway outside. The room itself was ok albeit quite small as was the bathroom which was in need of refurbishment. Breakfast was extremely poor with more or less the same things on offer every day ie eggs, cheese, ham and two cereals which were very stale. There was one or two fresh fruits provided along with fruit juice and tea/coffee. We will not stay there again and cannot recommend it as the hotel itself is over a mile from both Nerja and Frigiliana and difficult to get anywhere unless you have transport. Collapse
