Secure car park at back, €5 for overnight but short on spaces . Unfortunately you have to walk through bar to main reception with your luggage. Hotel staff pleasant. Key card to access lifts. Corridors narrow especially when carrying luggage. Room average size , we had a triple , 1 double and 1 single. Safe available in room. Could do with maintenance to fix curtains as hanging of rails . Room clean and tidy but could do with a freshen up. Reception area very nice but rooms not of same standard. Plenty of hot water for showers. Hairdryer. Tea/coffee facilities in room. Bar food tasty and well priced .Have to walk through bar to access spa. Spa pool too shallow for swimming and alot of children in pool with floats and toys . Handy to dart station . Adequate hotel that served our purpose. Collapse

I stayed over the weekend with my 2 sisters. We were going to a concert in Dublin and got a good price for room only in this hotel with the dart only a short walk away. We had a slow check in with was a little frustrating as it started our trip off on the wrong foot. When we came back to the bar after the concert there was a good band playing but found the bar staff rude and not very helpful as well as the night staff on reception. The staff on Sunday were a little better & tried to help how the could but it was too little too late. Where do I start on our room, 3 adults and we were in a room that barely fit the single & double bed. Bathroom was tiny and not very appealing. The 2 very small windows in the room had curtains that were out of date and net curtains that were torn looking shabby. It's just as well that Bray makes up for the hotel and the beautiful cafe where we had our breakfast overlooking the sea is a must visit. Collapse

Im writing this before I leave this morning after booking 5 rooms for 4 night stay. We had our civil ceremony wedding in this hotel on Friday and our immediate family stayed with us. We booked a meal for 10 after the ceremony as well. We stayed in March also for 2 nights. The food in March was not so good. Our problem started the morning of the wedding when we could not open our room door. It is still not resolved now before we leave 3 days later. I have spent hours locked out of room and going up and down trying to get in. My major problem is the service. So unprofessional. Just amateurs. I asked for a hairdryer the morning if wedding and I only got it 24 hours later when I asked a second time. Same with the iron. The room we have is lovely and modern so obviously one of the renovated ones but they really need to put un hand rails. The swimming pool toilet was dirty. There was a nappy left in the corridor for hours. We were short changed 3 times in the bar. Staff in breakfast are walking round like zombies not having a clue what they doing. No managment or service standard at all. We complained some plates were dirty and they just left them there for others to take. On a positive note the dinner after wedding and the service was excellent. Some of the bar staff as well were amazing and food was really good there too. After shouting at the manager last nuggt we have been given somthing for our troubles with the door but it should have been resolved with an offer of a room change to save all the inconvenience. If one more of them told me to keep the key card away from the mobile I might have exploded. Also hot water went so I had freezing cold shower and when I rang to reception i was told to keep tap running awhile. These people do not understand what customer service is apart from the manager i shouted at. Also our room door was actually left open all afternoon yesterday by one of the management who could not believe us just now when i told him it was still not fixed until he saw it for himself. Customer is always right...yeah right! Overall very poor. Collapse

Myself and my friend stayed here for 2 nights for her birthday the end of Feb, we got a deal through the hotel for 2nights b&b, 1evening meal and a hot stone massage. The room was a good size for us it had a single bed and double bed, bathroom was bit small but clean, the room was very clean, but very outdated. Staff where friendly. We booked dinner in the bar for the sat night but we ended up in the restaurant as there was three 30th birthday parties they could not fit us in the bar. we both ordered steak med/well done they came out med/rare and chips undercooked left us a little disappointed but i called the waitress who got our order sorted. The next morning we ordered a continental breakfast to the room, which we got a bowl of rice crispies and a yogurt (not the continental we expected) we rang reception and where told there was no more pasteries left, bit disappointing. The hot stone massage we both got was amazing, the girl was really friendly and respectful The staff in all areas where helpful, not too sure if i would return in the near future. Collapse
