My friends and I booked the Villas for my birthday, due to the fantastic reviews. We were not disappointed . The staff are so friendly, Fiona was very attentive and left a lovely surprise in our villa, which was a lovely touch for my special birthday Tom was very good at making us welcome and making lovely cocktails, the day we stayed around the pool The restaurant staff were excellent, not intrusive but appeared when needed. The buffet breakfast was well stocked with various dishes available. The villas were cleaned to a high standard everyday. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. It was a short taxi rides to Bars and restaurants. LaCaleta has lovely fish restaurants 15 min walk or a taxi ride to Limoncello Italian restaurant at Costa Adeje was terrific value and lovely food, service Lots of bars and restaurants not far, a short taxi ride. Del Deque beach is very clean with nice restaurants and shopping mall. Collapse

Wow this food is probably the best kept restaurant secret on the island. On the last night of our holiday we decided to dine at the Royal Gardens, mainly to check out the food as we are booked in this resort for my husbands 70th birthday in March 2018. Food is our passion so we were blown away by the glamour of the restaurant their attention to detail, the excellent staff and the food!!! to die for. It was amazing - roll on March Gloria and Keith Venning Collapse

It’s was with some trepidation that we booked a week in Tenerife after an awful trip to Las Americas some 20 years ago, however, nothing could be further from that experience. The Royal Garden Villas is an incredible hotel, well worthy of its 5 stars - and we are very fussy!! We had 7 nights in Villa Jazmin, a 2 bed, 2 ensuite villa with a perfectly adequate pool and large terrace. We didn’t need to leave the villa it was so nice. The food here is exceptional too - even the room service that is of a very high quality. However, it is the service that I really want to praise. All aspects worthy of a mention as many reviewers have said. We only met Fiona once, when she introduced herself over breakfast - but boy does she run an exceptional team here. Although absolutely every member of staff is worthy of a big thank you, we would call out Tom for his natural hospitable and easy style with customers - and the time and attention that went into his amazing cocktails. As another reviewer has said - he will go far! If I had a hotel, I would want to poach him - and many of the others too - sorry Fiona !! We would also call out Helio who also looked after us very well - I’m not sure he ever went home !! Thank you for a wonderful holiday, we will be back ! Collapse

Step behind the big wooden door and suddenly you’re transported into another world. A welcoming glass of bubbly on arrival and then a short walk through plant filled paths to your own private villa. Service here is absolutely amazing – despite the well stocked breakfast buffet there was no muesli available on our first morning (my wife’s favourite) but by magic there was a new box on our table the next morning and on each subsequent day. The breakfasts are lovely and on most mornings Fiona, the manager, comes around to make sure that everything is OK. Room service in the villas is also superb and speedy – every time we phoned for food, drinks or more ice it was delivered in minutes. All the staff are brilliant they have that great knack of being seemingly invisible until you want something and then they are straight there caring for your needs. Unfair really to single anyone out but Rafael always had the biggest smile and young Tom has a great personality and just the right attitude – if he continues a career in the holiday business he will go a long way. Other reviewers have mentioned the road noise and yes it does exist. It would seem the road has got busier in recent years and there are quite a few lorries and buses going right past the villas. It was a problem for us when sitting outside and after 2 days we contacted Fiona with our concerns. Her reply was “if you’re not happy, we’re not happy” and within 4 hours we were moved to another villa higher up the hill and set back from the road – truly first class service. Villa Jazmin is beautiful with wonderful views, a really good sized pool and a lovely tranquil outside space – we loved it and would return to this particular villa tomorrow. Collapse

Some reviews on here say leave it to the people that love it. It kind of is like that. If you want to step away from the hum drum of all inclusive monotony and dubious food hygiene then book here. Peaceful and restful. A hotel to visit if you are convalescing. Total calm and tranquillity. It has a ‘club’ feel like you almost have to go back. We like a walk so are not bothered about walking to the supermarket Daily (20 minutes) or down to the restaurants in La Caletta (20-30 minutes). Having said that, if you want lunch by the hotel pool or room service lunch, then it is top notch quality. The ambience of the restaurant is noteworthy. The themes change regularly. It never feels ‘same old’ Even at breakfast it is well organised but very charismatic at the same time. The size of the hotel means that it feels very intimate, never feels busy, nobody ever queuing in front of you at breakfast, in the restaurant in the evening rarely more than 4-5 tables occupied, but it doesn’t feel like a ghost town. Very attentive, friendly service which is notably not intrusive. We have just booked our third visit for January and even bought friends with us on visit 2. And again in March probably. Just.....love the place. Collapse
