Facilities and service were really good but got the impression the staff were trying a little too hard, nevertheless a great time in London Collapse

We stayed here for one night and found the hotel very beautiful, the staff extremely professional, the bed comfortable, but the room noisy. We could hear the vacuum cleaner being used in the room next to ours as well as the one above ours during an afternoon nap after a 10 hour journey as well as the first thing next morning. We could also hear the drain pipes working when our next door neighbour took a shower. To top it off there appeared to be a lot of closet door banging around us. For such a Grand hotel it was quite disappointing to hear this/any kind of noise. We were also disappointed to find out that Scarves bar only opens at 3 pm on Saturday. We've had lunch there before many moons ago when it had normal hours but haven't been able to get in since. Perhaps the only lunch food service could be extended to dinner if the hotel chooses to run its restaurants and bars at such bizarre hours. We did eat at the steak restaurant which was lovely and also enjoyed a good breakfast in the hotel, though the service seemed a bit awkward. All in all it will be an even nicer place to stay after some sound proofing! Collapse
Such a special place.

The rosewood London is by far one of the loveliest hotels we have ever stayed in. Would recommend it to absolutely anyone- especially couples who are looking for a romantic and cosy retreat. The Scarfes bar is fantastic too.. the atmosphere is great. Breakfast also we couldn't fault, so much choice and the pretty decor was to die for. Finally Pearl the dog really was the cherry on top of the cake. Thank you Rosewood London for an amazing weekend. Collapse

Located in the heart of Holborn area of London, one could not ask for a better location. Historical building which stands right in view of all, with a beautiful and discrete courtyard, the Rosewood London shows warmth, class, and comfort. While the building itself, along with the facilities; 3 restaurants, spa, gym, and ample function space is complimented by the quality of its food and cocktails; the staff are the ones that stand out. Acknowledge through out the property from the doorman, all the way to the room attendants. One feels a sense of comfort and home feeling. Staff are all dressed in traditional classical British attire, brining that elegance to another level. While the Mirror Room had never been explored, both other restaurants, Scarfes Bar & Holborn Brasserie were excellent, both very welcoming, with what I must say are by far the best cocktails I have ever experienced. A MUST even if not staying at the hotel. I would say it's unique selling point among other matters, is their Butler Service to its suites; A more personalized service is hard to find in London. one feels at home and truly "taken care of" Collapse

From the minute I arrived at the Rosewood I was made to feel like an incredibly special guest. I had got soaked by the rain on my walk from the nearest car park in Bloomsbury Square. The Doorman escorted me and my bags to reception and the team at reception rallied around to get me hand towels to dry myself off while they dried off my luggage. I was shown to my bedroom and had a quick tour of the room and it's amenities. The room was entry level but still just beautiful. It had everything I possibly could need for my stay, practical with a touch of luxury. The bed was incredibly comfortable and huge! I didn't eat breakfast here but I did eat dinner and couldn't fault it. My allergies was totally taken account of and they took great care of me. I can't recommend this place enough, even though it's high end, it is well worth the expense. Well done Team Rosewood! Collapse
