Ritz-Carlton KL is an exceptional hotel with exceptional facilities, service and staff. I'd like to express my sincere gratitude for the hospitality, professionalism and attention to detail to Shafiq, Jennifer, Nay Tun and many others from the morning and evening staff whose names escape me at this time. All the pomp and grandeur of the hotel would be for naught if not for the people who work there. Collapse

The Ritz, the brand is quality. It was a quick trip of personal firsts. First time in Kuala Lumpur and my first time staying at a Ritz. As an expat Chef based in Vietnam, I find it crucial to travel as much and as frequently as I am able to afford. And the Ritz and Kuala Lumpur sure made an impression on me. First off, I must give great service acknowledgment to Johnathan, the over night gentleman who assisted to checked me in. He was a dream as I arrived after a flight delay and a long day, I rushed booking on my end and forgot to change my booking to both nights and Johnathan was more than happy to change my booking and made sure I throughly understood all the charges. He was all smiles and very welcoming. The room was magnificent. The mattress was firm with ample pillows. The room was clean and the bathroom was bright with great pressure in the shower head as after a rushed last minute booking of my entire trip, it was much needed and the bathtub and the amenities provided were all great also. The breakfast buffet was reasonably priced at around 25.00 usd which was fair. I must admit the breakfast offerings and the staff on the first morning there were much more enjoyable than the second morning. The first day there was plenty of Hummus and Challah type bread which I always enjoy. I tried beef bacon for the first time and it as interesting. My concern with my breakfast on the Tuesday morning is I had to ask 3 separate service staff for coffee and then I noticed there wasn’t any hummus on the second day, and I was just going to ask the buffet attendant for some but another patron asked and was told rather shortly that there was just none. I found it strange as in my career and my vast experience of travelling and working all over the world, ‘No’ isn’t something that is said to a guest. We had drinks in the library bar on Monday night after a full day as I wanted to show my friend the property as he’s currently opening a new hotel which will compete on the same level as the Ritz. The drinks took a little longer to arrive than they probably should have but we noticed the bartender keep looking at his syllabus when he was making our drinks, which we ordered off the menu. But overall, minus the wait, my martini was delicious. I just imagined the Ritz not using wooden toothpicks with cellophane tips on it to hold my olives. The snacks that were provided were marinated vegetables with what I imagine to be Bresaola and some bread. The vegetables in our opinion had a little too much olive oil on them to be served with cocktails. My sleep both nights were amazing. The room was made up great and the brownie was a pleasant treat as was the new bathrobe. I am extremely satisfied with my stay. I am fortunate to have been able to stay and enjoy my time in KL at the Ritz. I cannot wait to come back and relax there on my next trip down to Kuala Lumpur. Collapse

Visited Kuala Lumpur for some times and this time decided to give it a try for The Ritz-Carlton Kuala Lumpur, and I loved it! The location itself already fantastic, just right in the city center by walking distance to the Pavilion (very nice crossing bridge directly to the Starhill Gallery), Bukit Bintang Walk, and many more..but still nicely hidden from the big main roads - did not hear noises from the traffic outside, so exclusive. The spacious room, marvelous white marble bathroom with TV just in front of the bathtub, and their Housekeeping nicely added sufficient bathroom amenities during our stay. Went to their gym several times as it is a very nice equipped one. Two pools available which the upper one is perfect for relaxing. Sad I did not have the chance to try their spa. The chocolates and brownies provided every turn-down service, delicious! Gave a try to their Club level room and accessed their club lounge, nice ambiance and service, so I could tried both breakfast at their main restaurant and their club lounge. Could see many guests coming for their afternoon tea, will try it on my next visit! Collapse

I booked the two-room suite in June for my birthday celebration with close friends and family. Amazing stay I must say. I have been to many KL 5star city hotel but non can beat the service Ritz-Carlton offers! They also had surprise birthday cake a little deco in my room on the day of my birthday while I was away. I came back and definitely was surprised. I really appreciate it so much and did not expect it because I did not tell them during check in that it was my birthday or neither did my partner. Thank you again and again Ritz-Carlton. :) Collapse
