Having come from Puerto Vallarta where we had no kettle or hairdryer this place was positively palatial by comparison! Room was clean and tidy although dirty dishes had been left in corridor for 2 days+ HUGE casino and a couple of shows on offer. We had breakfast at Hash Hash - great service but pricey and big serves!! Buffet, Chinese Restaurant etc to choose from. Good service from front desk and walk over footbridge to The Strip. Collapse

The Rio All-Suites Casino and Hotel was a very nice place to stay. The only thing I really didn’t care for was the hidden fees that I wasn’t told about before booking. There was $34 daily resort fee then an additional $100 room deposit! What turned out to be a steal, I could have stayed at Venetian and came off a little cheaper. However this hotel was very nice and the staff were so helpful. The price to dine at The Garden buffet located at the hotel was a bit steep at $30 a person. But my friend and I ate at another location on the site Smash Burger. The price for our meal was a little high but totally worth it!! Them French fries gave me life! Plus we had an amazing view out our window. It was beautiful during the day and even more beautiful at night. There was even a zip line outside our window offered at the Voodoo Zipline at the hotel. I don’t know how much of my nakedness they seen zipping past my window but hey they were a site to see!!! I would totally stay here again!!!! Collapse

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. By far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I usually stay at the venetian or Caesars but our group decided to stay here and save on the room and have more to gamble for March Madness. Boy was that a mistake. Upon check in we were given a room that didn't have the view we paid for, but I ignored it. The couch had several glue looking stains on it that were quite disgusting, but I also ignored it as I didn't plan on being in the room much at all. The first night we got back from the club around 2 am and I wanted to take a shower before I went to bed. This is when I realized they had shut the water off due to a leak. I called down and they said it would be on within the hour, so i waited. It wasn't until 5:30 Am that the water came back on. I then showered and laid down to wake up to someone beating on my door at 6:15 Am (identifying themselves as Rio's engineer) he looked in the bathroom and the water was leaking through the sealing and down through the light... definitely a fire hazard. They got it fixed with in the hour and i was finally able to lay down as I had a work/lunch meeting the next day at noon. At this point I had already spent an hour or so on the phone trying to reach management and then waited in the 45 minute line the next morning to express my displeasure. They offered to comp my 30 dollar resort fee for the night, which was insulting in itself. On to the next day, I went to take a shower before my lunch meeting and low and be hold the water was shut off again around 11am for maintenance... At this point I was becoming slightly irate as I walked back down to wait in the 45 minute line and tell them I need to shower for a meeting. They moved me to another room which took almost an hour (had to move meeting to next day) and they offered me a 50 dollar food credit. So from 2 Am until 2pm I had been dealing with their water situation and had been offered a 30 dollar resort credit and fifty dollar food credit. Missed meeting, had water shut off, water leaked, guy beating on door, hours spent in line and on phone with them basically single handily ruining trip. I finally got moved to another room, and my friend and I arrived at the new room to find it was a single King bed. Of course it was... because why would they have gotten this right. So another couple hours was spent on the phone and in line until they got us in a 2 bedroom room with running water and no leaks or stains.... it was past 4pm at this point and I missed my meeting and the Buckeye basketball game I planned to catch the second half of after the meeting. This is the worst hotel I ever ever stayed at in my entire life. I couldn't imagine doing business and treating people like this. they said they had maxed out their offer of comping resort fee and 50 dollar food credit. The whole stay should've been free on principle. You couldn't pay me to go back here, Only way I will go back to Rio is to see it be demolished. Good Riddance, Steer Clear People! Collapse
