Just come back from a week here, asked for a room with a view and they excelled. We had room 308 on the top floor next to the roof terrace bar! This is at the back of the the hotel and faces the sea. The hotel is set back from the beach so there are a number of buildings between it and the sea. The view from the balcony is pleasant but there are buildings in front of the hotel and the sunsets are amazing. Being next to the roof terrace bar we obviously had to try it out ;-) and had drinks and lunch there the food was lovely. We also ate at the restaurant downstairs in the evening and the steak was lovely. The apartment was a lounge kitchen diner compact but spacious enough for two of us with a sofa, tele and small kitchenette, twin hob, microwave and enough crockery pans etc to rustle up snacks, breakfast but wouldn't want to self cater without a full cooker. There was also a coffee machine, kettle, toaster. The decor in the rooms is a little dated lots of pine but typical of other places i have stayed in, in the canary islands. Everything was spotlessly clean housekeeping come everyday apart from Wednesday. All the communal areas are spotless too. The are two supermarkets near the hotel going out of the main entrance turn left and go straight across the roundabout and down the road on the left there is a 24hr mini market, handy when the bigger dialprix up the road is closed. The larger supermarket and shopping mall is turn left out of the hotel at the roundabout turn right go up the road past all the little bars and restaurants and its up the road on the right. One of the things that was not mentioned by the staff when we checked in is there is free use of the laundry room, which i used there are two washing machines and one tumble dryer. All of which looked very new, were clean and all worked well. There is also a red folder on the far end of the reception desk that we only found just before leaving that contains details of places to see and things to do. Which i believe the reception can book for you. There is very little information in the room at all about the hotel or trips or other services other than a small leaflet they give you with the room key. We found things out as the week went on. There is a lovely sunny terrace behind reception with a fountain which seems completely under utilised would such a pleasant area to sit and be able to get a coffee at. There is also a gym and a pool on the roof, i would have liked to be able to swim early before going out for the day or when i got back in the evening. But the pool was only open i think it was 10 to 6 which didnt fit in with us being at the hotel which was a shame i think it is only open when the lifeguard is there. They also have a jacuzzi and a sauna both of which were not being utilised, what a shame. But overall I loved this hotel and its location and wouldnt hesitate to go back. Towards the end of the week we explored the area to the right as you go out of the hotel if you keep walking along that road you come down to the beach and on the left there is a delightful beach with a little bar near the cliffs. Much nicer and quieter than the busier end of the resort. Wish we had found it sooner. Wouldnt hesitate to go back to this hotel its a credit to eveyone there who worked so hard to may our stay such a wonderful one. Thank you everyone. Collapse

Studio Apartment: The hotel was very clean, and good value for money. We stayed in a studio apartment with fridge, small hob, microwave toaster and a kettle so it was just fine for what we wanted. It also had an en-suite bathroom with vanity basin, toilet and bath/shower. A safe is also in the room which has a small balcony with outside tables and chairs. Maids come in on a daily basis to clean and make the beds etc.... There was no Air Con but with lockable louvre outer doors you could leave the glass doors open all night to get fresh air in. Breakfast experience: We opted for bed and breakfast, the breakfasts were plenty with a selection of full English, cereals and continental style breakfasts, all you can eat. The Spanish waitresses didn't speak English but between us we managed to get what we wanted without too much issue. Location: This hotel is less than a ten minute walk to the sea front, beaches and a verity of bars and restaurants. Over the road there are two or three bars which plays English music and there is also a bar downstairs in the hotel itself but most of the live entertainment in the evenings are mainly Spanish singing artists. The hotel itself has a gym and a terrace roof top pool and sun loungers as well as a roof top bar. Would we stop there again? Yes definitely! Collapse

This hotel is now called the SKA Olivina Apartment's.. it has had a revamp of the outside decor and pool/ bar areas. Rooms remain the same, a bit dated but very clean and comfortable.. The hotel staff are amazing, very friendly and go out of the way to make your stay enjoyable.. The pool is heated during the winter months when I stayed there end of November/ December the average temperature of the pool was 25-28°c. There wasn't too many sunbeds beside the roof top pool as it is a small area but there's more sun beds at the roof top Solerium. In all the food was great, breakfast was good value for money.. €4.95 for limitless tea coffee, limitless, cereal and continental breakfast, limitless juice, orange, pineapple, apple juice and if you can manage the cooked English or omlette with toast and pastries. I would recommend this hotel. Hope to return soon.. Thanks to all the staff, especially our cleaning girl Monica, she kept our appartment spotlessly clean for a comfortable stay.. Collapse

We've visited these apartments 4 times when it was Reveron, the last time was March this year and once again it was great, for our last holiday in October it was under renovation so we were moved elsewhere. We're now looking forward to revisiting in January for our Ruby wedding anniversary. These apartments have always been our favourite in Tenerife, every member of staff are fantastic. They all help to make our holiday brilliant. I wondered if room requests are allowed as we have always been lucky enough to have the top floor facing either road side. We never mind the noise as we do like the liveliness of people enjoying themselves. The location of the apartments are great, the hill could be considered a climb but it's never been a problem for us. Just looking forward to holidaying here again and seeing the renovations. Collapse
