I split my trips to two areas in Paris, Part I, we stayed in 6th Arr, the primary function were sightseeing and food Part II, I choose this location, for the proximity of shopping and sightseeing. This hotel is surprisingly good, well located, but on a quiet side- unlike a few other big hotels nearby, directly facing the parks, Ferris wheel and heavy traffic. It feel more alike boutique, polished, offered consistent 4 star services. There is a pool and SPA, we did not find time to use. The beds and bed sheets are very comfortable, probably is one of the best I had in the last twelve months The bath room is spacious, luxury and up-to dated, with Bulgari branded toiletry The breakfast is nice and fresh. Coffee and eggs are made to order. The concierge I would rate her five star. She is very helpful. She helped me make restaurants reservations, suggested the right locations for my shopping needs. I just discovered Chanel iconic store is actually located 300 meters away from this hotel. Not to mention, she helped me avoid going to tourists packed department store and locations My husband enjoyed this hotel very much, because the adequate services, amenities, vicinity to a morning jogging, sightseeing, landmark buildings. It's quiet and tucked away, but within a minute's walk you're thrust into the hustle of bustle of the city. We enjoyed the complimentary but good quality of candy jars, morning Nespresso coffee offered at the lobby The only cons I can think of, I did not find any restaurants as good as those in 6th Arr. In this Arr, you most likely find places that catering to tourists Collapse

We stayed here while capping off our European vacation. I used points for two of the three nights we were there, so it was relatively inexpensive. I don't think I would have stayed here otherwise. I'm a Marriott platinum rewards member, so we were "upgraded" upon arrival. Not sure what room we would have gotten had we not been upgrade, but we were in a VERY tiny room with a VERY tiny bathroom. We were on the 5th floor, and our room looked right out into another person's apartment. We kept the curtains closed, otherwise someone could have looked right in! TWICE an employee of the hotel let themselves into our room while we were in it. Once was turn down service and once was housekeeping. Both times I was drying my hair and couldn't hear a knock. You would think they'd be able to hear the hairdryer and wouldn't just enter a room that clearly has someone in it. Our room keys kept de-magnetizing, and there is no phone in the hallway, so we kept having to go back down to the front desk. We had no problems with the wifi and were even able to stream a show from Amazon. My boyfriend loved the breakfast, which was complimentary for Marriott platinum members. I'm not a huge breakfast eater, and likely wouldn't have paid 30 EUR for the buffet they had. Location is perfect and was the saving grace here. It's very convenient to get to the closest metro station, and not a bad walk to the Eiffel tower or other hot touristy spots. It took us about 45 minutes to get to/from the airport using the metro. This is a nice hotel but there are a couple issues. We had a suite which was very nice. Not large but I guess that's normal for Paris. The biggest issue I had here was the in room wifi is very poor. It frequently didn't connect or was very slow. Unable to use it at time. Nespresso machine in room is nice. The pool is great. The workout area while small is adequate for a great workout. The sauna and steam room very nice. Collapse

We were in Paris for 2 short days so we booked the family suite. The staff is wonderful and very professional. We were able to check in early at the hotel. Upon arrival to the family suite the concierge presented us with a bottle of wine and a Swatch watch for our daughter. We were very surprised and thanked them many times. The staff is great, even without the gifts. Now as for the room, the family suite was on the top floor. The entrance to the family suite is a single door that opens to a short hallway that access both rooms. This allows you to lock the common entry door and keep both room doors open if you have children. Both rooms are very nice and spacious with excellent bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable. Very pleased overall with the room and service. Location is great. It is about a 10/15 min walk to the Louvre. There are many cafes and restaurants close by. Overall, highly recommend it. Collapse

Staying here was a Christmas gift from our aunt, who had previously visited this hotel. My sister, who had never been outside of the United States didn't know what to expect from anything, and frankly, neither did I. Having stayed in hostels and whatnot, this was a real upgrade: being both in Paris and in an actual hotel. Just walking in and seeing all the decorations was enough to get me excited. The beds were plush and comfortable and the bathroom was beautiful. I loved the view, many would say it was nothing special, as it was just another building across the narrow street, but I beg to differ. It was stunning, being surrounded by Parisian architecture. Not just that, but we were only a few blocks away from the Louvre. The staff was friendly and had a warm attitude, and was sure to cater to our needs, if we had any. The breakfast was superb every morning, and I was glad to be able to retreat there after a busy day of sightseeing. Would adore visiting there again. Collapse
