Have staid there for a weekend and liked it so much I'm already here again for a longer stay. Staff is very good, always here to help, special mentions for Jalila (who helped me fix an issue after my first stay) and Melanie (who's making my second stay really special). Location is great, a short walk from the city center and still in a quiet uncrowded area. Shopping, museums, restaurants and casino are all at walking distance. Breakfast is five star level with everything you may expect plus on demand eggs, waffles, pancakes... Pool and hammam area are very well maintained. We had very disappointing experiences with 4 or 5 stars hotels in the region, Renaissance Aix has been above expectations. Will definitely be back again. Collapse

This was on first time staying here , the hotel is modern with all the bells and whistles, like an American hotel , rooms are large to Europe , a lot of outlets to charge you iPad , phone etc. Internet worked well. Shower with over head or side sprayer . The front desk was very helpful making our stay very nice. If you are coming from the airport or tgv train .. And take the bus 40 it is about 5 minutes walk. Was not bad with luggage A little up a small hill and then flat walk way . You are close to town , so walking to shops , cafes etc.. Is very nice. I love this city it is smaller, but friendly and lots of shops, out door markets . There is a grocery store down the street called mono prix you find then around France , we visited then in Nice, Paris etc. they are great for fruit , yogurt , wine ,chocolate , bread , water etc. I feel eating out in France more experience compared to USA. The room has a mini refrigerator, where you can store a few items. The mini bar is for a fee ... We did enjoy the breakfast buffet , it included , yougurt, eggs made to order , one morning I had an omelet and the next. Poached eggs . Other items are breads that you can toast, fresh fruit , oranges , apples , pears , kiwi, bananas. Fresh orange or grapefruit juice , water both kinds. You made your own coffee expresso machine. I thought the hotel was very nice and would stay there again Collapse

The hotel feels a bit like a business hotel, it has clean and up to date rooms and valet service for the car which we didn't find in many other hotels in France. The location is great, we only used the car when we went out of town, otherwise we would just walk to town which is under 5 minutes and very safe even at night. Great shopping and dining options in Aix, we probably liked this town the most of any we visited on this trip. Make a trip to a nearby winery for a tasting and lunch, we accidentally found "Chateau La Coste en Provence" which is a beautiful little spot near Aix which offers a very nice lunch in the garden behind th tasting room, ton's of French people here, didn't feel very touristy and great food and wine. We would stay here again for the convenience and location and found the hotel to be quite good value as well. Collapse

Located about 10 minute walk from the tourism office. Very modern hotel in modern section of the city – was enjoyable, but a bit jarring having spent so much time in the historical centers of towns on the way here. Concierge (Navigators) very helpful by email prior to arrival. Breakfast, if not included in your room rate, 26 euros for buffet. Small gym and pool – clean and practical. Oddly, they have a water refill station, but no bottles for filling (ala Club Quarters); however, small bottles of Evian conveniently placed in rooms for 7 euros each. Collapse
