Positives: 1. Good range of items for breakfast- cooked meats and eggs, cold cuts and lots of breads/pastries. 2. Wifi worked pretty well for us. Negatives: 1. There is no kettle or hot water facility in the room. There is also no room service offered in the hotel. If you want to make yourself a hot drink you have to go to the bar and ask for hot water which they will give you in a cup for free or order an over-priced drink from them. 2. There is only a 50% chance that your room will be cleaned. Ours was only cleaned 3 of the 6 days we were there. One time I had to complain because all the maid did was make the bed- she didn't replace towels she took or clean the shower etc. 3. Staff are pretty unhelpful. We asked if there was free parking near the hotel (which charges a ridiculous 12 euros a day) and were told 'no'. In fact parking on the street round the corner is much cheaper (7 euros for the day) and free after 7PM. 4. The gym has just 2 pieces of equipment. The mixed sex sauna facility is only open for a few hours and we did not go as it was full of fully naked old men. Collapse

The food here was pretty average , staff was not very friendly for whatever reason .. would have preferred staying at Hilton as had got very good feedback from a friend about Hilton but couldn't get the bookings. Average hotel, very small in terms of facilities. The lobby area is tiny and the restaurant isn't much bigger. The breakfast room on the 11th floor is the biggest but only open in the morning. The staff on reception aren't very polite or helpful. We had rented ski equipment and before going to collect we asked where the ski room was and their attitude was like we were bothering them (although reception was empty and by the way ski 'room' is in the garage). The bistro staff were nice but again the restaurant is tiny! Best to prebook if you can. We felt awkward walking in and asking for a seat it felt like it was too much trouble - although it was empty. Breakfast was ok. Lots of choice of pastries, cooked breakfast, fruit etc. The room set out is a bit like a school canteen where there are just rows of tables and you have to find a place to sit. Ski room is not a room at all. It's a gated storage area in the garage. The room was full of hotel storage such as chairs and bikes so hardly any room to store your ski/snowboarding equipment. There was only another couple using the room and it felt crowded. It is locked with a key but still didn't feel comfortable. The rooms are ok very basic. Tv is all in Austrian so if you're a Brit like us bring your own entertainment. On the first day we requested that our room not be serviced and left a note but when we came back it had been which made us feel a bit awkward as we had left some personal belongings out. The second day we requested that they do - and they didn't. Don't understand that. Our room was directly opposite the stadium and the noise was unreal when there was a game on. It went on well into the evening. The rooms are boiling hot too so you have to have your window open or cook. The views of the hotel were gorgeous and I imagine that if you have a room mountain facing it's lovely. They don't like you eating in your rooms so don't bring food back. The wifi is horrendous and cuts out every second (no exaggeration). It's awful especially in the rooms!! There is a bus to the ski slopes that leaves at 8.45. We got it to the Glescher. They advertise it as a 45min -1hour drive but in reality it took 2 hours to get there. After all the messing about with people not fitting into the coach and having to stand they had to drop people off at another bus stop and they had to put on another bus. Getting back wasn't much easier and took 1.5 hours so made it a very long day. Bus leaves the Glescher at 4.30pm. Just a warning that there is no snow closer and a lot of runs are shut. Town is about a 15 minute walk and is practically a straight line. We walked down each day and got a taxi back up which cost €7.20. We also walked to the shopping mall which was a 20 minute walk the opposite the town. It's a straight road so great opportunity to see Innsbruck. All in all it was an OK hotel. The staffs attitude did ruin it for us and made us scared to ask anything so we tried to just find our own way around so we're sure we haven't made the most of it. I would suggest doing your homework before going because the staff are not willing to help. Collapse

I visited this property in June 2016. I find it an average property with smaller room sizes. They need to improve their services too. Food is also improve. But you can consider this property if u look into middle segment property.
