Stayed here for one night earlier this week for business. It's a great location in the centre, right opposite the main shopping centre. It's unlikely to find free parking however there's bays round the corner you can park from 6pm till 07:30am if you're lucky to get a spot. There's an NPC car park the left turning before the hotel, if you don't take the turning there's a lot of no left turns and one way systems just to bear in mind. Normally it's £25 quid but the hotel scan your ticket to get it for £11. Now onto the hotel definitely wouldn't stay again, very high price with not many benefits. The rooms are basic and very firm matress, there is a desk in the room but you can't sit at it cause the tv is in the way and watching tv from the bed was like watching on a phone screen it's so small and far away. The hotel does not provide room service however they will allow you to order and call you to collect your food. The food was awful. I had spicy chicken wings which were bland zero flavour or seasoning. And then had a bbq half chicken, which turned out to be again a plain unseasoned dry chicken with a splodge of sauce on top. Arriving late back I pulled the quilt back to get into bed & noticed blood stains all over the bedsheets. As if someone had shaved and left bloodspots everywhere, so it's safe to say they didn't change the bedsheets from the last guest, I ended up taking them off and found a sheet in the cupboard cause it was too late to cause a fuss. Breakfast in the morning I ordered poached eggs, waited 30 minutes before asking where they were and was told they didn't make them. When they finally did come another 20 minutes later I went to toast some bread and the smoke alarms started going off so there was a big panic and the toaster needed to stay off for 10 minutes so I just left and walked out. Disappointing and stressful stay and had awful neck ache the following day from the hard bed. Collapse
This Ramada definitely deserves it's Encore!

You never quite know what you're going to find when booking a City Centre Hotel but as this was close to our evening Venue Athena it made sense.... we were not disappointed. Modern with an open reception, bar, lounge and restaurant area bright and well lit... We enjoyed a Steak Baguette and Chargrilled Chicken with Pesto Baguette with skinny fries as a light bite which was really tasty... Bedroom was spacious with great views across the City rooftops and comfortable for a short stay. Well recommended... Collapse

I arrived at the hotel on the 24/2/2018. On arrival my family and I were told that there was a issue with their system, this was not a good start for me and my family and I were already very tiered from our journey and then to be given this bad news did not do much for our spirits. The hotel staff who was dealing with our booking was very professional and helpful. She made us feel welcome and dealt with our booking issue very professionally. The young lady and her colleagues then offered us a complimentary drink. Soon the issue was resolved and we went to our room. Our room was clean and very nice. It was a little cold on entering the room but soon the temperature was adjusted and it was not long before we were warm again. Unfortunately during the night there was a party taking place in one of the rooms on our floor so we never managed to get proper sleep. The next morning we were greeted with the same staff who helped us the previous afternoon, The young lady was very personable and friendly and made us feel important and was very apologetic once we told her of the noise we experienced the night before. Our stay was not the best but the service that was provided by the staff was indeed very good. I noticed there was a group of men talking to this particular staff member very rudely but she was very professional and handled the situation very well. I just hope that if we do visit again we get a better night sleep and are greeted with the same helpful staff. I travel a lot and have stayed in many hotels. So I know it’s not always easy to get good service and helpful staff. Collapse

Having gone to Leicester races on the 15th, we chose this hotel for an overnight half term get away. Booking.com had a very reasonable rate that included breakfast. The hotel is as central as you can possibly ask for being near bars, restaurants and shopping centres. It was very clean, staff extremely friendly. The rooms are very clean and the shower room was great. The room was very warm upon arrival, and very easy to adjust temperature accordingly. We did have issues with a room party next door that night, which kept us up most of the night, we did complain several times to reception and the morning receptionist was very apologetic and reassured us action would be taken. However as the review is on the hotel it would be harsh to rate them on something they couldn't control. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Parking is always a negative when you have to pay to stay somewhere, but I guess £11 is better than £25. Would I stay again..yes Collapse

First time at this hotel and you have use the NCP car park close by which you do get a discounted rate of £11.00 instead of £25.00. I arrived around 6.30 and opened my room but it was freezing cold as the heating had been turned off. Luckily I was going out but as the temperature outside was down to 2 deg I expected the heating in room to be at least set to low. The room I had was not well appointed as the television could not be viewed unless you lie on your side of the bed which made it uncomfortable. The bathroom was a wet room but the extractor was not working at all. Breakfast was fine but can get busy. Overall I was disappointed and will not be staying there again as at £125 per night there are better alternatives Collapse
