I stayed at this hotel due to a flight cancellation, Klm put me here. Service was good and efficient they helped with my check in and gave me directions for what I needed. The building looks good, rooms are clean and big enough. There is a coffee machine on the room, nice views, good bed. I just missed a mini fridge, it would be nice to have sth on the room to drink. I had dinner on the floor 17th, was buffet organised for all he traveler who could not travel. I personally did not like it, taste was weir, probably it's just how Dutch food taste? I am used to Mediterranean diet anyway. Buffet looked cleaned. Next morning I left at 5 am for an early flight and they had some small breakfast to go, nice touch! Collapse

We was ment to be staying at the ramanda and book it through booking.com. Are flights was cancelled due to bad snow storm in Amsterdam. I rang ramanda and the man on reception was so helpful and said that’s fine we can change the dates but he noticed I booked with booking.com I would have to ring them first and ask them to ring the direct to see if I could change. Well Ramada said there is nothing they can do because we paid a cheap price £160 for 2 nights they could change the dates if I booked direct with them.I think ramanda was very unhelpful and they knew it wasn’t my fault because 100s of people were in the same situation. I have stayed at ramanda a couple of times and love it there but won’t be staying again. Collapse
More a 3 star hotel than 4

I was in the hotel last week, and the description of the weekend is overall an average one. My wife asked me to change hotels after stepping into the room but I had already paid for our total stay. The first improvement the hotel should make concerns the bed as at least mine was not nice, our room had a king size bed, the mattress was basically two slim cushions that had worn out unevenly, it was sorted after flipping them backwards as it first felt like you were slipping down to the side. Secondly, the room did not have a mini bar or an iron, which we always get in any 4 star hotel. The third improvement would be related to room service, the menu is shown on a special closed network channel. It is supposed to connect directly to the phone extension connected to the Room Service department which failed, fortunately we know how to use the phone and called directly to be attended by a woman that had no idea what was on offer on the menu and was confused and just replied I don't know (should we have known instead of her?). If the hotel announced as a 3 star hotel it would be accurate, expecting a decent bed is far from a luxury experience, If the above is fixed the hotel could be very nice. Collapse

Recently stayed at this hotel, me and my partner booked the executive king room with a panoramic view and I must say it did not disappoint! The room was spacious and the bath room was lovely with both a bath and shower, everything clean aside a couple of marks on the walls. The bed was huge and so comfy! The ONLY thing I could fault was the room heating it didn't seem to work that great and was too cold. The STAFF were great seemed happy to help with anything! We also payed for breakfast upon booking it was delicious and plenty of choice for everyone. It was on the top floor as well which we loved! Although 10-15 mins away from the centre the tram stop is a 2 minute walk away from the hotel if that and are as regular as every 7-8 minutes! Also do not make the same mistake as we did you can get a Ramada hotel shuttle out side the airport DON'T PAY €40-45 IN A TAXI! If you go on the website you can book one to take you to and from the airport for as little as €7.5pp I think we paid! Overall had an absolutely fantastic time in Amsterdam this hotel played a big part in that! So thankyou to all staff at the Ramada Apollo! Collapse

We booked a double single bed room, and got a two bed room instead. The room is a bit cold, as you can't really regulate the air heating system. Shoutout to Kharmin, one of the waiters during breakfast, very kind and funny. The views from the hotel are astonishing. A bit far from the centre but with a tram station next to it, so that is not a problem. Collapse
