we booked a city Italy tour with trafalgar tours, our stay in Rome was at the Raganelli hotel where we had a great stay. The multilingual staff was friendly from the first moment on until our departure. The Coach could park direct beside the hotel entrance and it was perfect for our group of 43 persons. The hotel opnened extra for our group the breakfast room at 6,15 a.m., a reach buffet breakfast . Our room was large and clean. We wenjoyed our stay at this small but very well organized hotel . We will make a good evaluation to our travel agency. Collapse

This hotel is not so big , around 40 room but well managed and the staff is guest oriented. We had 3 days there and enjoyed our stay thanks the helpful staff. Our room was clean and quite, The hotel bar has lower prices than in the the other bars in the city. We could park our car at the hotel private parking place at no extra charge . The hotel is good connected by public transportation to the Vatican city and historical Center. The attention the hotel staff had on our behalf let feel us at home. We enjoyed our stay and will return for sure in this hotel in our next visit to Rome Collapse

Before to book an hotel in general we always check the reviews on Tripadvisor, was the same in this case and have seen that they have positive evaluation. We booked on the hotel home page a family room for 4 persons ( 2 adlts and 2 children 10 and 12 years hold) We could park our car direct in front of the hotell entrance , there is a private parking place for the hotel guest which is free of charge. The receptionist was very friendly and also if it was 9:30 a.m. the receptionist let made up the room and after only 5 minutes we could go in the room. We were tired from our car trip arriving from Milan, it was great what the receptionist did , we appreviate he gave athe priority to made up our room. The family room was large and with all modern comforts, speed wi.fi. connection and satellite TV with CNN and BBC channel. The breakfast is served in a nice restaurant n the ground floor where we saw a reach buffet with fresh product. In the evening at the sunset we were always at the terrace on 5th floor where we enjoyed the red roman sunset. The multilingual staff was during all our stay friendly and helpful. We will suggest this hotel to our friends. Collapse

My 75 year old mother arrived at 11am, tired and hot to be greeted by a rather grumpy desk clerk, there was no "hello" or anything, his first words were "you have booked a double room not a twin room" I assured him I hadn't and produced the email to prove my booking but he was adamant that we had booked incorrectly. We were on the 6th floor "the penthouse" he called it the lift only went up to the 5th floor!! The room was basic, the bed problem was easy rectified as it was actually 2 single beds just pushed together lol No kettle, no water or any way of getting refreshments in your room. Mould and damp in the bathroom, wires hanging out of the ceiling, the "balcony" was about 2ft long with 2 metal chairs and faced the extremely busy main road, next doors "balcony" had a toilet and two basins on it. The breakfast was the same everyday, it was put out very early for people leaving on trips, the meats/cheese, milk water etc were just left on the worktop, not chilled at all, the croissants were stale and hard and the nectarines were off, not enough seating either. To get anywhere you had to get a bus and two tube trains as it was too far to walk. On the plus side the evening desk clerk (Vitor) was helpful and informative, the beds were comfy and clean, the air conditioning was awesome in our room and Rome city was amazing. This was a special trip for my mum, we made the best of it but we were both very disappointed with the hotel. Collapse

Stayed here for two nights on my recent tour of Europe. Place was clean enough but room was tiny. No room to put your case and I only had a 70L bag and a backpack, not a full blown suitcase. Air-conditioner was ok but the flap was broken so had to hold it in position with some cardboard. Front desk staff weren't exactly pleasant, one got annoyed with me when I asked him to repeat something as I was struggling with his accent. Only one tiny lift to service the entire building.
