i stayed in the past in this hotel and had good time at a very low price. For that reason this time i booked again from their home page, where i could find the best available rate and special offer. I booked an economy double room at the incredible price of € 55,00 per night including: buffet breakfast, privat parking place for our car and speed wi.fi. connection. The receptionist, on our arrival in the hotel, informed us that he will upgrade us, free of charge, in a double superior room. At the price we payed, we could never think to find the quality of service and such a moder Our room was modern furbished and with a spectacular bath room, with a Jacuzzi idromassage bath tub, i could't beleave to my eyes when i saw the bathtub, all that at € 59,00 per night.... They have really an excellent value for money. This hotel is not in the city centre but it is well connected by public transportation to the Vatican City and to the Historical centre. The reach buffet breakfast was served in a couzy restaurant on the ground floor. For sure we will recommend this hotel to all our friends not only for the price. Collapse

i was in rome for business, i had to meet some of my clients, and i was driving to Rome by Car from Naples. I booked this hotel because it is next to the motorway exit ( # 1 Città del Vaticano) and because of their private parking place free of charge. I was any way positive surprised because, even if the room rates was very low ( € 59,00 per night with buffet breakfast), the standard and the quality of service and of the room were at a high quality. The staff was friendly and, on my arrival in the hotel at 9:00, even it was early in the morning i could sudenlly check-in, the receptionist upgrade me in a superior double room free of charge. The breakfast was good. They also have a speed wi.fi. internet connection which a used for my contact. I appreciate the attention they had on my behalf even if it was the first time a was in this hote. I would book this hotel also in case i would go to Rome for leisure. The hotel is good connected with the Vatican City and with the city centre by public transportation. I suggest to book the room on their web page where it is possible to find the best available rates . Collapse

I stayed here the 2nd time and the hotel became even more nice since then. The entrance area was completely renovated and looks very modern now since I was here the first time. The room was very nice (also recently renovated) and the room rate was excellent. I would love to find such a top hotel more often in other cities in Italy. The staff was very friendly and helpful all the time. I would definitely come again. You get the best for your money. Collapse

The Staff also this time was very friendly , they upgrade us in a Jr. suite even if we booked a standard double room. We really appreciate this attention they had in our behalf. The Jr Suite was spectacular, with a large bathroom with Jacuzzi idromassage bath tub, with TV satellite, tel., safety box, speed wi.fi. internet connection, All that at a low price of € 69,00 per night for 2 persons, with buffet breakfast included. From the hotel terrace on the 5th floor , every evening we enjoyed the sunset drinking a good italian red wine. we will reccomend this hotel Collapse

Recently stayed at Raganelli for four nights while on our first trip to Rome. While not being luxury, the hotel fit the bill and met our requirements; clean and tidy, a comfortable room and bed and a good breakfast to fuel up on before a day of sightseeing. On arrival the member of staff was friendly and informative, providing us with a map of the city and information on the local bus and metro lines. The room was cleaned daily and to a high standard. The rooms were comfortable, equipped with air con and a TV. Other than a few gripes including no plug sockets by the bed and the shower being less than powerful there were no complaints. Breakfast was served daily 7am - 10pm and included a selection of fruits, cereals, yoghurt, croissants, pastries, toast, cheese, ham, fruit juice and of course coffee! Again, the staff were friendly and attentive ensuring the buffet was regularly replenished. The nearest metro stop is Cornelia, which is a 15-20 minute walk (depending on your pace); alternatively you can catch the 246/247 bus which stops outside the hotel regularly and takes less than five minutes to reach the end of Via Aurelia. Having looked up the distance from Cornelia to the hotel before arriving, I'd deemed the bus unnecessary as it seemed walkable. However having done the walk for the first time in the midday heat after being up at 4am that morning (and after finding out bus travel was included in the 72/24 hour travel passes) we decided to opt for the bus most of the rest of the time. As expected, Sunday bus services were less regular (seemed to be one per hour when we were coming back after 8pm?). The walk to Cornelia is by all means doable but the bus service is a handy option to have. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with the hotel. Some might deem it slightly out of the way from the centre but it is by all means accessible and the distance from the centre is reflected in the price paid for both the hotel and for meals/drinks in the nearby restaurants/bars. I would definitely consider staying here for my second trip to Rome (which hopefully will not be too far in the future!). **The one thing I would note is the City Tax which is payable on checkout and is €6 per person, per night. I wasn't aware of this before arriving but the member of staff who checked us in did inform us on arrival, which allowed us to budget for it out of our spending money. ** Collapse
