We are a family of 4 (children aged 11 & 7), we found everything to be super at the Radisson Blu. The pool, steam room and sauna was lovely (and quiet) on our arrival day. The restaurant in the evening had a good selection of meals, lovely wine and the children loved the independence of using the buffet. It was pretty pricey though (120/130€ for dinner x4, with 1 bottle of wine and water) The room was a good size and we slept well. The shuttle bus worked well and on time (we booked with the concierge) and we used this there and back both days. Breakfast was a great selection but on our second day we did find lots of things were running out and not replaced quickly enough (milk, jam etc). I would totally recommend the hotel and would come back on another visit. Collapse
A satisfactory, if what dull place to stay.

Very bland experience, just missing some character and that extra touch of the best hotels. Check in was OK, the “system” seemed to be down more than it worked and it felt like this wasn’t an infrequent occurance. Breakfast good, reasonable choice but same offering every day with no variety, omelette station a good touch, freshly squeezed orange juice, efficient seating service and plenty coffee machines around the restaurant. The restaurant itself was again lacking atmosphere, staff pleasant but going through the motions rather than genuinely interested. OK, it’s “just a hotel restaurant” butat the price and fairly limited menu options there needed to be something more to inspire us to eat there again (which we didn’t). The bar was in reception, around a log fire with pool table and table football but that was it, no music or sense of reason to sit there, The prices were very high, €7 for half pint of beer, €11 for a pint. Limited choices as “the system was down” or “the lorry wasn’t allowed into the area” depending on which barman you asked. The wine by the glass was €6-9. Again, OK for a passing drink but didn’t want to make you sit there and spend some time. The pool was guess what, lacking in atmosphere! I did use it at opening (6-7.30) so would it expect it to be quiet but no one at reception, no towels on one day(nice to see immediately rectified by concierge who did appear to have interest in you and that extra sparkle) the steam room only worked on one day out of three, there were no cups in the hamann on two days, showers that dripped a drizzle out of the wall, lacking a shower head etc. The lockers and changing areas were clean, and fresh but it was the little touches that were lacking. Rooms comfortable and clean, well attended daily, except for not replenishing tea, coffee and especially milk! Took to stealing milk from breakfast ( sorry not sorry) as appeared to be the only reliable way of getting milk. Shuttle was efficient and timely and booking was adhered to pragmatically I think, not rigid (we are on holiday) but just enough to say plan which one you want as the whole hotel can’t catch the same one! Good location and connections once you know how. Good layout and great breakfast choice. But our room was scruffy. The carpet was bare in a couple of places and there was glitter left over from previous guests on the floor of the bedroom. The toilet was poorly maintained - not something I make a habit of looking at a lot but quite grim. Food and drink at the hotel were crazy overpriced and generally poor. Beer was 7.50 for a bottle. Burger 21. Pizza 15. Ok if hungry but at least 25% more than planet Hollywood in Disney Village with much less ambience. Quality of food was poor - my partner had a chicken burger which was blackened on outside and cold to touch on inside. Was replaced without issue but still bland. Again, forgivable if prices weren’t pitched at high end. Connection from the station and Park was difficult when arriving by train. The hotel say there is info on the website but I really cannot see where and instead can see lots of comments here about how tricky to find at first. If you’re arriving from Paris, shuttle is every 30 minutes (at 15 and 45) and the shuttle bay is on the last row from the station near the very end. I think really it’s the attention to detail that’s been most disappointing. When we complained about food we were assured someone would talk to us - they didn’t. There was a beautiful fireplace (essential with the snow) but the same logs were there the whole three days. We were booked for 3 people but only 2 cups and 2 bathroom cups. After first day sweetener and stirrers were not replenished. They all seem like first world problems but just left us feeling a bit ripped off for this 4 Star chain. Collapse

Travelling with a teenager with ASD so booked here after reading reviews. Checked in today for 3 nights and not great really. Rooms not ready until 4, which fair enough they do tell you but when I asked if they could check at 3 I was told no. All rooms ready at 4. Surely all rooms cannot all become available at exactly the same moment. We would have paid extra to check in an hour early as I advised the receptionist..our teen has sensory issues and ADD..our train had been halted coming in due to a bomb scare which they announced and our daughter was so stressed and really needed to change out of her clothes and just breathe but she wouldn't check. She suggested we change in the pool area so we lugged our bags off to change but tried a few different doors but could not get in without a card. Found a toilet so decided to use that but a male staff member kept coming into the ladies making our daughter even more anxious and upset. At 3.30 we checked again and a very helpful staff member checked for me but no room ready. At least he tried which was really all I wanted. He took our bags while we left for a while. Came back to room which both receptionists had assured me had 2 beds as booked. It did not. I rang and was told I could just seperate them. I tried but there was only 1 sheet ..1 duvet cover and a double mattress topper. I'm hauling everything off when I realise ..if I wanted to do housework I could have stayed at home. I rang again and a staff member came to seperate the beds..with no bedclothes. I asked to be moved and a very helpful concierge came and moved us quickly down the corridor. To a room with 2 beds. Why could we not have been here in the first place? My daughter is now to agitated to go down for dinner as planned so I tried to order room service. They advise me they do not have mashed potatoes that she wants with her dinner even though it's on the menu. I give up. She is now having a granola bar for dinner. Day 1..wasted really. Collapse

They are busy. True. But only one functioning coffee machine working for all the guests is bonkers. A long line for for a hot drink in the morning dispensed cup by cup is silly. Plus there is snow on the ground so really looked forward to using the sauna. It’s broken as are the showers. Last night no towels or staff in the pool area . Completely unstaffed. Not the usual Radisson standard. We we Disney cattle fodder. Collapse
