We recently stayed here and had a great experience. The Hotel was 10 minutes walking distance to the entrance of Disneyland. That was a big reason why we stayed here. We were lucky to find out that it was a great place to stay at also. We had booked online and check in was a breeze. Hotel room was nice. Good beds, nice TV. Fridge and microwave also. The pool was a little small, but it fit the hotel. The breakfast room was really good. They had the standard cold stuff. But also Eggs and toast and a think a meat. Very helpful on our check-out day since we had a late flight. Collapse

Overall, we were really happy with our decision to stay at this Quality Inn facility near Disneyland. Without being familiar with the area around Disney, it's difficult to say how close one is to the park, and in my research all of the hotels definitely started blending together. The decision to stay here was based in part on the fact that it was advertised as an 8 minute walk to Disney entrance (was about that, maybe closer to 10 mins), breakfast being included, and the price. Booking online was easy, and because I am a Choice Rewards member, I believe I saved $10 per night off of the normal booking fee. Upon check in, we received helpful service from a front desk attendant (he may even have been the manager on duty, not sure) and he actually gave us a choice of a ground floor unit or a second floor unit, explained the availability of the breakfast room, wifi password, parking situation (more on that below) and explained the on-site gift shop and laundry facilities. I'll begin by stating that I don't have huge requirements for a hotel/motel room, but I do expect it to be clean, comfortable and safe. I had recently stayed at another motel in a neighboring town where I did not feel this way, so upon entering the room here at Quality Inn, was pleasantly surprised to open the door and step into a tidy and clean-smelling room. Everything in the room and bathroom area was in good repair. We had pretty comfortable beds, and sufficient bedding (I wasn't too cold or too hot while sleeping), and the air conditioning was in good repair. The shower/bathtub had a solid material surround (almost felt like a silestone-type material) and the bathtub and faucet were in good repair. Many hotels/motels have chipped or stained bathtubs but that was not the case with ours. The bathroom sink area also had a solid surface and was stocked with some shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion. The bathroom had a sufficient amount of towels stocked for our family of three, however as with most hotel towels, they were fairly small and thin, although were not scratchy as many hotel towels can be. As for the breakfast - I was not expecting much, but really like staying at hotels in which a breakfast is offered. This saves time and money - I figure for our family of three this saves us at least $30-$40 that we otherwise would have been spending at a diner for our first meal of the day. This hotel in particular had two make it yourself waffle stations, warm mini biscuits, eggs, and gravy (gravy is a bit on the bland side, add your own salt and pepper) several varieties of cereal, muffins, danishes, and breads/english muffins, as well as coffees and juices. We were pretty satisfied with the options for breakfast. Expect the breakfast room to get filled up fast with families getting their fill before hitting the parks - however if the room is full see if you can grab one of the bistro tables outdoors and enjoy some fresh air. I didn't personally utilize the laundry facilities but nearly had to and it was a nice option to have on-site. The gift shop does sell some souvenirs/trinkets however, they also sell some sundries like sunscreen, lip balm (saved my life with some sunburned lips after Day 1 in the park!) and cold water and other drinks. We purchased a jug of water for $2.50 and kept it in our mini fridge in our room to fill our water bottles prior to heading out to the park and cups in the room. Housekeeping came to our room daily and we had freshly made beds, towels, and a bathroom sink area. Checkout was very easy and since I had prepaid upon check in, all I had to do was drop off our room keycards. Overall, quite happy with our stay here and if we decide to return to Disneyland for a vacation, would consider staying here. The quick and dirty: PROS: - Clean, comfortable and well stocked room - Complimentary breakfast with some hot options - Good proximity to Disney parks with about a 10 minute walk to the resort entrance - Right off the freeway, so this is both a pro and a con - Good value compared to some of the other local hotels (a lot of places were more expensive, and didn't include breakfasts) - Microwave and mini fridge in room CONS: - Some traffic noise - right next to freeway - Parking situation is strange - parking is NOT free or included in your per-room night stay. Hotel manager says that it's a requirement by the city of Anaheim that hotels charge for parking -- and that those hotels offering 'free' parking have simply built it into their room rates. This hotel offers Valet parking or Self parking - most of the times we came thru there was no attendant at the Valet parking, so we were told by front desk staff to simply ensure we checked in with a Valet attendant in order to obtain the parking pass to put around our rearview mirror which at least allows hotel staff to identify that you are with them and not just some random person parking in their lot. Took us a few times to find a Valet attendant to obtain the parking pass, but once we did we weren't utilizing the Valet anyway.Disney is not worth driving to and paying for parking there from this hotel - walk around the corner and up the street and you will be there without moving your car. Great staff. The rooms are standard but very clean. The walk was 15-20 minutes to Disneyland with restaurants along the way in case you had enough of amusement park food. We ate at Tony Romo Steakhouse and it was excellent! Back to the hotel - they offered valet parking at night which was included with the room price. Breakfast selection was pretty standard but enough to fill us up to get through to lunch. We loved the coffee and visited the lobby several times to get a cup. Laundry services on sight. At the time of our visit the washers & dryers were being converted over to credit card instead of coin operated. I would definitely stay here again if we ever made it back. No complaints. Collapse

This a great place to stay when visiting the Disney parks. This is our 4th stay. You can't go wrong, with friendly staff and a great location. Breakfast is basic and gets a little busy with families all being in there at the same time. It's all about timing! Parking has gotten expensive over recent years, but it is now at a premium with the Holiday Inn right next door taking parking and accommodation space off Quality. We always stay at the Quality Inn and Suites and always will, every time we visit Disneyland etc. So convenient. Collapse
