On arrival my Wife was getting out the taxi and the bell boy gave her the most welcoming smile and handshake as he recognised her from our 6 previous visits. The Receptionist tried very hard to accommodate our room request as the hotel was very busy. The Concierge served us with a lovely cold glass of fizz. All this excellent service and we just arrived 5 minutes ago. The following week we received the most wonderful service throughout the hotel from all the Staff. Do yourself a favour and try this hotel as you will certainly not be disappointed. All the restaurants are wonderful however for something a little different try the Teppanyaki, great food coupled with great service. Special mention must go to Carlos the Restaurant Manager as he went out of his way to welcome us each morning at Breakfast and in the Chiringuito poolside restaurant. I have no doubt we will return soon. Collapse

This was our 7th visit to the Princesa Yaiza and we weren't disappointed. Our last visit was in 2015 and in those three years since we were last there, the hotel remains the same high quality as ever with the same amazing service and friendliness. I can't write much more because I'd just be repeating what I've said in the reviews I've left each time we stay here. Yes, it's expensive but it is definitely worth it, in my opinion. The breakfast buffet is the best we have ever had in any hotel in the world. We ate one night in Don Giovanni's and it was fantastic, would highly recommend it. Can't wait to return and just hope we don't have to wait another 3 years to save up to do so! Have put our lottery ticket on for tonight already - and we only returned home yesterday! Collapse

Whilst UK was freezing we enjoyed this exceptional suite hotel. A mini kitchen with microwave, kettle and fridge is include, the lounge had two large settee and flat screen TV with UK programs. Built on a gentle slope this hotel consists of very spacious suites with very extensive luxury public areas. The central indoor gardens have water features large enough to support large koi carp. Numerous restaurants provided food choices that never ceased to amaze. Catering for all tastes and ages, the children and babies especially. The architecture and build quality of all facilities is outstanding. It is located adjacent to a golden sand beach, and a short promenade walk to either the marina or town. Collapse

We had a sea facing Junior Suite so could sunbathe on room patio after breakfast until noon when we transferred to the pool area to get the afternoon sun. Breakfast buffet up to standard although nobody can cook scrambled eggs like I can!!! In evenings we ate out in Marina restaurants which are good whereas Playa Blanca town is awful with tacky shops We enjoyed our seven night stay at the hotel but would not return to Lanzagrotty Collapse

Myself and my now Hubby were married on the 06th January and stayed in Princess Yaiza for 5 nights. What can I say? From the second we arrived they were so friendly. The hotel is huge and very impressive. The pool area is perfect, nice and chilled. Keep in mind it was January I would imagine in August its another story. What I loved most about this hotel was without doubt the food. There are over 5 different restaurants, there are the buffets, a Tapas, Tepinyaki (which was just amazing!), an Italian also. The breakfast was always in one of the buffet restaurants (there is a choice of 3) and oh my god, like every type of food imaginable and it was all so so tasty!.. Our room was lovely with a balcony over looking the pool area. The balcony was in the sitting room which meant the bedroom was usually in darkness. Thats a personal issue though, I love a bright bedroom, the room was still amazing. Not sure if you can get bedrooms with a balcony over looking the pool as this is just the design of the hotel. They left champagne in our fridge, gave us complimentary breakfast in our room one day too. Its location is perfect, go left to the restaurants etc on the Marina, some really nice bars here with outdoor areas to chill and watch the sunset. Or go right, and head toward the "town". Various shops and chemists etc. We also went on a fishing trip for a day which was great fun. Will most definitely be back! Collapse
