We came home yesterday after 2 weeks at the Prima Sud apartments. The apartments are very basic but certainly doable without problems. They were clean and housekeeping came every couple of days. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Now for the important part for people with mobility problems. The apartments have some extremely steep hills, when it rains the paths get seriously and dangerously slippery. We booked a mobility scooter before we came, and my honest opinion is that if we didn't have one we would genuinely be stuck in the apartment all the time. The hills are the same going into the town area, but this area is flat when you get there. Some people have said there are some big slopes but please take from me they are VERY steep, unfortunately due to this we won't be able to return which really is a shame. We ate in the restaurant and had take away from there several times which was fine. The only other complaint we had was that we paid €20 each for 2 weeks wifi on 2 different devices because the wifi codes only covered one device. Not once were we able to connect to the wifi in the apartment, we had to go up to the reception to be able to get on. We were rather surprised when we told the reception this problem that they told us that you can only get wifi at reception or in the bar!!. Collapse

Visited for a week with my family at the beginning of September. We really enjoyed our stay. We had a ground floor apartment over looking the pool which was perfect as we had a baby and could pop in and out to sunbathe in turn and sit on the terrace in the shade. Never had an issue with getting a sunbed or parasol, always plenty free. We stayed half board and the food was lovely, good choice of either fresh fish, chicken, lasagne, pizza, salads etc and flexible in that they allowed us to have dinner in our room/on the terrace as a takeaway, which was handy for when baby was having a grumpy evening! Breakfast also fine English breakfast or continental and nice coffee. Staff in the restaurant were always really attentive and chatty. Chilled atmosphere in the restaurant of an evening, nice and quiet with no entertainment which we liked. Apartment was clean, spacious, maids came every couple of days with clean towels and sheets. Punta Prima is a very quiet resort with not many restaurants/bars at all but we didn't venture out of an evening so it didn't affect us with a baby as we ate at the apartments. Lovely beach, was clean and the sea was calm for swimming, 15 euros for sunbed x2 and parasol. If you want a very quiet, chilled holiday I would recommend this resort and definitely these apartments, couldn't fault anything, great apartments with great staff, would return. Collapse

Nice place but looking at little jaded . Patio doors leading to the balcony would not open due to them being bent out of shape. Cobwebs hanging from bedroom ceilings. But to be honest it was late in the season but a great resort.

We spent a week at Primasud Apartments in the first week of August (my wife, me and two kids 10 and 8 years old). We got a first floor apartment very comfortable and well designed: a double room (for me and my wife) and a sofa bed (two single beds) available in a large living room kitchen (for the kids). The small terrace with view on the pool was a pleasant place to spent some times in the evening. We choose the half board formula, that in my opinion was a winning choice: various and well cooked food served by nice and friendly waiters. We were able to decide whether we preferred to get the launch or the dinner (depending on our trip plans around the island). By ordering in advance, one day, they prepared and served us a delicious paella. The pool is large and very clean, open all day and even in the night... for the children a big attraction useful especially one day that we had bad weather. The residence is 5 minutes walk from a nice small beach (partially free and partially equipped) and from a waterfront with some bars and restaurants. A nice public playground is also in front of the residence. A medium-size water park is also very close, although in my opinion is a bit too expensive. From Primasud Apartments all other relevant areas of the island can be easily reached from the car. The airport is 15 minutes away by car. The farthest area is Ciutadela which is 40-50 minutes away. For sure in my opinion a winning choice to spend one week in Minorca. Based on the prices of similar structures I think also that Primasud Apartments offers avery convenient quality / price ratio (but I don't have any direct experience of other accommodations in Menorca). We had a room over looking in small infant pool which was ideal, the room was very clean and we felt taken care off if I had a problem I could ask at reception and they were very helpful. The big pool is a good sized pool, we always got a sunbed and there is everything you would need. We were b&b which was fine, simple choices of the usual stuff you would expect all cooked to order and staff are helpful here too. All food is served at the bar/cafe next to pool, in the evening there is a bouncy castle, pool, table tennis etc but no entertainment which suited us fine, there is an outdoor bar across the road directly which is very lively if your looking for it. The beach and shop are at bottom of street all very accessible lovely chilled place in the evening . We went to main local restaurants who serve beautiful food, the beach is still buzzing until dark the locals go surfing and hang out there. There is a park, a crepe stall, hair braiding, a local market for gifts, a water park on shuttle bus and an excellent paddle boarding place where me and older children went out along the coast. I would return to this laid back chilled side of the island, if you want more low key and relaxed this is a good option. Collapse
